Arlo Midtown

We would highly recommend Arlo! Friendly and efficient staff, gorgeous hotel with great dining options and comfortable stylish room (our room was so quiet which we didn't expect for the location). Perfect hotel for exploring midtown. Can't wait to come back for our next stay in NYC.

We had an amazing stay at Arlo Hotel for our honeymoon. Even though New York is such a noisy city, the hotel was so quiet and peaceful that we hardly noticed the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible kindness of Alexis Rodriguez at check-out. He was so friendly and welcoming that if we visit again, I’d love to have both our check-in and check-out handled by him. My older sister is planning a trip to New York this summer, and I’ll definitely be recommending this hotel to her. Also, the food at Altair on the first floor was delicious! On the downside, the amenities could have been better. Having slippers and bathrobes in the room would have made our stay even more comfortable. The Black woman at check-in was very unfriendly, which wasn’t a great start to our stay. However, we were lucky to meet a wonderful staff member at check-out, which made for a pleasant ending to our experience.

I had a great stay at Arlo Midtown. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of Times Square but still quiet through the day. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming every time we returned to the hotel, making the experience even better. They took our bags on checkout and have a towncar facility that we availed of to get to the airport. The hotel was spotless, from the common areas to the rooms. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with a cozy bed that made for a great night’s sleep to recharge. Overall, a well-located, comfortable hotel with excellent service—I’d definitely stay again.

hi i have waited a few weeks to leave this review as i emailed the hotel to discuss but have had no response. there was a false fire alarm at 5am one morning myself and hundreds of guests went down the fire escape to find on one of the stairwells had lots of glasses , empty pizza boxes and bags of rubbish in . too much for it to be from a guest . if it was a real fire it could have been horrendous and obviously at 5 am none of us knew it wasn’t. the hotel was nice but a little to basic broken blind in the room not enough storage but my main concern was safety .

I stayed in a city view and that was amazing too! The bathrooms were so nice and the showers were amazing! Great water pressure and really hot! It snowed while we were there so the hot shower was a must. The customer service was AMAZINGGGG!!!! Everyone was so nice! Especially Areis! He was so incredibly nice and made sure that we had everything we needed while there. I definitely plan to stay here again when I return to NY! My stay was absolutely perfect!

Overall we had an amazing experience and I would recommend to anyone thinking of coming here.

The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Manhattan (near to subway and Penn Station). The room was clean and comfortable. My only criticisms would be the amount of dust in the room (coming from the aircon vents) and the hotel bar not opening until 4pm. I would stay here again!

We were in a fairly small room on the 6th floor so our view was not great but understand that’s the luck of the draw. My only gripe is that we visited for my partners 30th birthday and I emailed in advance to ask whether they could do anything special for him. They replied saying they’d be happy to put a nice note in the room for him, which never happened :(

The room was small but compact and the hotel had left a note wishing my partner a happy birthday with a box of macarons. The staff were very friendly and always polite and willing to assist you. No scary chargers the staff explain everything up front on check in. They will even accommodate you with a late check out if available. The location is Perfect you are 2 blocks away from Penn Station which gets you to the financial district and close to Hudson Yards which you can visit the Vessel. There is a Coffee shop in the corner of W38 which serve amazing Coffee and Breakfast Bagels. Expect to do lots of walking which is ideal to you do not miss any of the amazing sights. You will feel safe. 10000% would recommend and will return to the hotel and location. Worth Every Penny. Love you New York

Helpful location between station and Broadway. Hotel has interesting internal design features with multiple lounging areas, and wonderful atrium for dining and inviting bar. Attendant Junior and lobby host Anastasia provided impressive attentive service.

Perfect walking location for theatre area without being in the crowded and noisy Broadway area. Room was immaculate, bed comfortable, nice smelling shower products, delicious food for breakfast and dinner options. We had breakfast at the cafe and dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Great experience and location. Gürkan made a great surprise for us on our wedding day. The rooms are very clean, the stuff is very lovely and the Location is fantastic. We highly recommend Arlo Midtown. If you come to New York, Arlo is the place to stay.
