Love this hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a rather funky style. Breakfast was all you could ask for - very nice buffet. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but it was beautiful to look at. The ride up the elevator was always fun with interesting decor thru the window on the way up and down. We also enjoyed using the sauna. And the location is centrally located so it is not far to walk to anything in Amsterdam.

Short journey from airport. although we arrived at 2300, the reception and bar was perfect and very friendly and a free mini bar in our room. We had a canal facing room that was never a dull moment when in the room, hotel location nicely quiet but footsteps away to the right, of main entrance, to streets of local food and regular shops and a short walk to the left past a couple of canal bridges to the trams to dam station or museum area . Although we walked most places then got a tram back . We had perfect unseasonally sunny hot weather so spent time around Dam square. The hotel breakfast was a good and choice from menu, the table service was great and idabal gave us advice on how to get around. Stephen the bar manager also gave us the low down and even found a bottle of cider🍺for me. The evening meal was so nice but massive portions for starters and the main, so much we could not finish. We would return in a heartbeat .

We loved the location by the canal and our upgraded room facing it. The bathroom layout with the sink in the middle of the room and an awkwardly placed mirror was a bit weird for us. Anna at the front desk was very kind and attentive to our needs. We paid for the breakfast buffet, which at €26/day was a bit pricey but very robust. The lobby/bar was noisy in the evenings, which could be disturbing to light sleepers staying in the inner rooms facing the atrium.

The Andaz in Amsterdam is just a fantastic hotel that does everything right. The customer service is excellent. Everyone that you talk to is friendly and helpful, and they ensure that their guests have a great stay. We really appreciated the flexibility with check in time. Rooms are very nice, AC and heat work well, blackout shades are really good, and the beds are super comfortable. Would recommend both restaurants as well (Prins & Aap and the Garden Room breakfast). Thank you to the team for a great stay!

Comfortable and clean hotel that is close to many sights in central Amsterdam. Had a garden view room which looks into another block of the hotel. On day of checkout, a housekeeper knocked on our door at 8am asking if we were checking out - totally unprofessional when check out time was 12pm. Hotel staff were largely transactional and didn’t leave a lasting impression unlike our previous stay in Andaz Prague which was really exceptional.

Andaz Amsterdam is a breath of fresh air in a city about to celebrate its 750th birthday. This modern hotel seamlessly blends contemporary design with the city’s rich cultural heritage. The eclectic art pieces and innovative design elements create a truly unique and inspiring atmosphere. The location is fantastic, putting you right in the heart of the city. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, offering a warm welcome drink upon arrival. A delightful surprise was the complimentary minibar, a wonderful touch that elevated our stay. I also enjoyed a quick trip to the sauna, which replenished my body following air travel and the many thousands of steps taken each day. The bar is a highlight, serving up some of the best cocktails in Amsterdam. I particularly enjoyed the Old Fashioned, a perfectly balanced drink that rivaled any I've had in Europe. Andaz Amsterdam is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a stylish and comfortable stay in this historic city. I would not hesitate to book another stay here and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Loved our Two night stay here . From the moment we arrived we were treated fantastically by all staff we encountered. The young lady that checked us in was exceptional . She took time to hear our plans gave us a map and showed us where we wanted to go , even offering to book restaurants . The room was a great size a little quirky and unique but absolutely loved it . Has everything you need and is very comfortable . Breakfast service and choice was exceptional . Can’t wait to stay here again , our goto hotel in Amsterdam .
