Easy access to transportation and the rum drink upon arrival was perfect.

When my husband and I think of Turks & Caicos, we imagine tranquil, white sand beaches, luxury accommodations and a movie star’s private getaway. With that in mind, we booked Alexandra thinking we’d get to sleep in late or dream with the island breeze billowing our gauzy draperies all night long. Instead, it was like we were back at the ill-timed Punta Cana vacay we went to during spring break years ago. There were lots of games, parties and music until 10:30pn - and I mean loud! We were in an older building farther away from the party scene, but a combo of sea breeze and the way the buildings are configured amplified the music and laughter. Also, staff pulled carts fitted with the loudest wheels possible across the bumpy walkways beginning at 7am. We felt sorry for those with young kids. Speaking of being in an older building, elements of our room were shockingly old, damaged, stained and outright broken. After bringing our concerns to the manager, she promptly switched us to an updated room and apologized saying they were slowly transitioning the rooms to be safe, clean and looking like they were decorated in this century. The best food was at the sushi restaurant, Dragon Orchid. Overall, the food was a 7 out of 10. We ordered pizza and Pina coladas every day as we lay on the beach. They were delicious! Our last, day, however, our particular server likely forgot about us. Usually, we get the food within 15 minutes, but this was now 45 minutes. I walked back to the bar and inquired. They promptly brought us a cold pizza in a box that had apparently been sitting there for 30 minutes because the server forgot us. I brought it back up to the bar asking for a hot replacement. This is now an hour and 15 minutes since our original order. We understand people forget and get busy, etc. however, we watched this guy (wearing the white bucket hat,) chatting and yakking it up with his colleagues. The replacement was on an open plate and it was still cold. I asked him to make another fresh hot pizza (suspecting this was the microwaved original due to the hot plate and cold food) and asked him to bring it in a box so that it could stay hot. He literally said these words, “ pizza right from the oven is too hot to put in a box.” Really? How have we survived all this time eating pizza from a box? We get it. You made several mistakes and can’t admit it. Other than that, everyone else was delightful and helpful. We did pay for a snorkeling excursion called the sand dollar. We recommend it. But, even better than that, is the FREE coral reef that is a 30 minutes walk down the beach. Just put your snorkel down, and you’re in an aquarium! In conclusion, if you’re looking for excellent food, service, and tranquility, this is not for you. There are many other options on Grace Bay.

The beach and water at Alexandra are phenomenal! Prettiest water I've ever seen, including several Caribbean islands. The rooms are very clean and modern. The food is good but not spectacular. We did dinner our last night at Blue Haven (sister resort), and it was very good, best meal of the week.
The resort is a good size, everything is fairly close and it's very close to the beach (compared to some of the bigger resorts we saw).
The service staff is friendly and helpful. Of particular note, we appreciated the housekeeping staff (the room was always cleaned well), Jude Ann (a server in a couple different restaurants there), and Garnell (beach server). Jude Ann and Garnell went over the top to make us feel welcome and kept the food and drinks coming.
The only real negative was communications with the front desk during our stay. Without going into excessive details, I'll just advise guests to double-check, and then confirm again, any reservations or plans made through the front desk.

This was our 2nd resort during our week long stay on the island as a couple. Unfortunately, it left something to be desired compared to our first resort.
Staff- Most of the wait staff were very unwelcoming, with the exception of Cheeky! Cheeky made this experience for us! He went above and beyond to help us make reservations, navigate the resort and ensure we had the best time keeping us engaged with the entertainment! His friendliness & cheerful attitude was contagious. If the rest of the staff followed his lead, this place would be unmatchable!
Beach- views were incredible. The waitstaff on the beach was hit or miss. You have to be out there before sunset to secure a chair.
Food- if you don’t make a reservation early in the morning, you will find yourself eating at the food truck every night. Do yourself a favor and take the shuttle to Blue Haven! Fire & Ice was the best meal we had on our trip. The jerk chicken shack was also divine..we ate there for lunch every day! If you like good sushi, stay away from the Dragon sushi restaurant.
Entertainment- Made the trip! Karaoke, adult drinking games, water balloon toss, bands, Mardi Gras party, trivia, pool party, DJ.
Drinks- If you are particular about a specific drink, take a trip to the grocery store to make sure you have what you want. A few people we spoke to did swifteats app for alcohol and grocery delivery.
Pool- why go to the pool when you have Grace Bay? Very kid friendly pool. Adult pool party & dance off was entertaining.

My husband and I were attending a wedding and rooms were blocked off there so we stayed. It was our first time going to Turks and Caicos and staying at an all inclusive resort. It was great.
We enjoyed the food options and the help was very accommodating. They even let us check out late because of our late flight.
We hope to go back again and maybe stay at their sister resort Blue Haven. You can take a shuttle there so you have the amenities of both resorts.

We just returned from our eight night stay at The Alexandra. Wow! This resort is very, very nice. It is not the general all-inclusive resort that is generally available within this price range. It is many steps above! We stayed in a one bedroom guest suite. The furnishings were adequate. The bedding was wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised to find a washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen was nicely furnished. The bathtub and shower were great. The resort offers excellent food all day long. We really appreciated the gourmet quality food at both The Alexandra and it's sister resort, Blue Haven. The Fire and Ice restaurant at Blue Haven is excellent. The resort has everything one could want. The service was outstanding. The staff was phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and so helpful. I wish to acknowledge the wait staff at breakfast . The woman making omelets and Judy Ann were especially great. We want to also thank Markenley Amilcao at the front desk for all of his assistance in making everything go smoothly. I would come back here in a heartbeat! Thank you! Karen Haagensen.

We stayed at the resort from January 10th to the 13th of this year ( 2025), the journey to get to Alexandra was not easy! Life circumstances forced us to cancel the first reservation. We had to pay more money to be able to celebrate our 25 years anniversary. We even questioned whether or not it was worth! However, as we got there they were a few staffs that made it all worth it! Those individuals who we will be listing below made our stay at the resort magical! In all honesty, my husband and I don’t believe there would be an Alexandra resort without those important players! We do hope the owner shows them appreciation. Most importantly, they deserve raises, bonuses….! Anything that needs to be done to keep them doing what they do best as they do it with smile, courtesy, passion, pleasure… We will recommend the resort purely and because of them! The food were prepared with love because they were extremely delicious! The rooms were very clean! Overall, we had a great experience!
We took the time to get their names, please don’t ignore our comments! We urge you to recognize their contributions!
From guest registration, bellman, boss boy, chefs, bartender, waiter/ waitress, housekeeper, entertainment…The staff are the best thing that happened to the resort!

This is a wonderful resort with slick service, excellent food and drinks and an awesome entertainment team, particularly Tash, Kimron and Cheeky. They got the balance right between encouraging you to join in and leaving you to relax. What a multi talented team they are.
With several restaurants serving high quality food - amazing steak, jerk chicken and ribs, great cocktails, smoothies and other healthy options, there’s something for everyone.
The beach is stunning and the water sports options many. Thoroughly recommended. Only 20 minutes from the airport too!

The Alexandra Resort provided an exceptional stay for our weeklong getaway. The staff was welcoming and attentive, with Tash standing out as truly amazing. The accommodations were the best we’ve experienced, featuring a spacious bedroom, pullout sofa, 1 ½ baths, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a large balcony—perfect for families. The food was delicious, and we loved the variety of options available. One highlight was walking to the local fish fry for an authentic taste of the area. Additionally, we enjoyed great snorkeling just 0.8 miles down the beach. Our only wish was for a bigger and better fitness room (it is truly subpar). But overall, a fantastic resort with excellent amenities and a prime location!

We had a great time here! We enjoyed the smaller feel of this resort, which meant less crowds making it easier to get a chair at the beach or by the pool. We did have issues getting reservations at the restaurants, and the staff were not always helpful in resolving the issue. You are given a number to call for reservations, but nobody ever answers. If you go to the front desk or the restaurant, they tell you to call the number.
The resort is clean, the water is beautiful, and the foot and drink are better than most other all inclusive resorts I have stayed at.
The staff try really hard to keep you entertained with games at the beach and by the pool, and one of those staff members really stood out to our group - his name is Lettuce. Lettuce was the warmest most welcoming employee we encountered, and he is extremely talented (we got to witness his impressive piano skills over at the sister resort). He would always greet you, share a story, answer a question, etc. - no matter what, you’ll leave your interaction with him smiling.
