The chapel at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas just got a major upgrade -- and it's not what you think!
Til Death Do Us Part is a new Sin City sensation. This 800 square foot pop-up chapel being called the most Instagrammable chapel in the world. Designed by Guatemalan-American street artist Josh Vides. And this chapel is not Instagrammable because it's beautiful, or has stunning stained glass windows. Instead, this pop-up entire wedding venue creates the look of being completely hand-painted in black and white, complete with an altar, aisle, and pews. The resulting images make it look like you're marrying inside a literal cartoon. They've turned "Something old, something new, and something blue" into Something old, something new...and something black and white!
Built with wood and metal, the chapel's interior is painted with black paint, white gloss, and an epoxy coating to give the cartoonish look. The Palms Casino Resort is known for its art collection, and part of the idea here was to allow couples to immerse themselves completely in the piece -- becoming part of it by marrying within its walls. Ceremonies in the pop-up chapel cost five hundred bucks. That gets you a bottle of champagne and an hourlong ceremony. If you're already married, or just want the Instagram pics, you can buy a photos-only package for $250.
If you do want to marry or take pictures here, move quickly -- this pop-up chapel will be "popped down" again come spring.
