Now that the royal wedding is over, royal honeymoon rumors have began to buzz yet again about where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to take their royal honeymoon. We predicted they may go to a remote tropical island, or glamping on a luxury safari in Africa, which is how they first fell in love. But reports have surfaced from TMZ that the duo is planning a northern escape instead, opting for a luxurious lodge in Alberta, Canada called the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.
Appropriately, these preliminary reports claim the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex are booked at Jasper Park Lodge's 6,000-square foot "Royal Retreat," where other royals including Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth, and celebrities like John Travolta (to name a few) have all previously stayed. Located in Japser National Park, the region has even been featured in Hollywood movies like River of No Return, starring Marilyn Monroe.
Still Only Royal Honeymoon Rumors So Far
However, these are still only just rumors. TMZ's initial report was denied by a representative of the Fairmont Japser Park Lodge, who says that no one is booked in the Royal Retreat. But being that this is a royal affair, it would only make sense that the hotel would be instructed to keep all the juicy details completely under wraps.
What do you think? Are Harry and Meghan going to jet-set to Canada for an ultra-luxury honeymoon in the pristine mountain forests of Canada? We'll know more soon, so be sure to check back regularly for updates!
