We stayed at this beautiful hotel on the way down to Sicily, and the experience made us stop again on the return leg of our coming home. The hotel is very nice, and especially the room was fantastic, it was a junior suite, huge and well decorated room with an enormous terrace with a view that one does not forget easily. The staff were totally dedicated to the enjoyment of our stay, the shuttle took us to the entrance of the old town (coming back we did not even bother to call the shuttle, it was a really short hop to the Villa). At the end of a long day we were pleasantly surprised for the appearance in our room of two champagne flutes and delicious millefeuille cakes. The breakfast was very nice and, again, the view from our table was fantastic! We wish the greatest of successes to the Villa Piedimonte, they deserve being successful, and they work for it! Thank you for the double stay.

Ravello was our first stop on our Honeymoon. We selected this hotel based on pictures and reviews. We stayed in 701 and it was fabulous! The staff is so welcoming and very attentive. Making sure to say hello to you anytime they saw you as well. Upon arrival to our room we were welcomed with delicious pastries and a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our honeymoon! It was such a nice touch. The views were incredible to wake up to every morning and when we wanted to relax outside on the terrace. We enjoyed a few drinks by the pool as well. The hotel itself is nestled up in the mountains. To some it may be challenging to get to the main square in ravello, but the hotel offers a free shuttle service to take you there. We decided to be adventurous and walk. The breakfast was delightful, just what we needed to get the day started! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here and we hope to return again!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Amalfi Coast trip. The hotel was very nice and the views were beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean. The service was great and the staff was always very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was small but it had a nice variety. The center of Ravello is a little bit of a walk but easy to do. They also had a car service which was available to drive you.
All in all, this is a very nice hotel but not 5 star, although you are not paying 5 star prices.

Great hotel outside of the main Ravello square. Welcome was extremely warm and friendly. Room was ready as we arrived (and we were early). Room was very big and to a good standard. Everything you would need, we also had a balcony room which was lovely. Pool was quiet with a little bar that did a nice lunch, very reasonably priced. The shuttle service to the square was a god send. We were at a wedding and I was able to use the service to head up to the square for a hair appointment and they came back to pick me up. Breakfast room was a little warm but the choice was pretty varied. We only have one criticism…we ordered a taxi to take us to our next stop in Amalfi (a 20 minute trip) and we were charged €70. Which is outrageous!! If you want a hotel with amazing views but a bit out of the tourist area in Ravello, this is perfect.

We have just returned from 4 night stay in a suite (606) with 2 young children and had a lovely time.
They were so accommodating with the kids - they would give me fresh milk for the baby every eve and morn - to the point they knew why I was coming.
Rooms spacious & gorgeous views.
Pool lovely but shady in afternoon from about 3pm - no issues though kids still played.
Breakfast - great variety for all.
Parking - perfect after winding round those mountains
10 min walk to the Ravello centre

Good points: pool was lovely with drinks and snacks served, breakfast was nice with lovely views, excellent location and free shuttle up to Ravello, which was a bonus in the August heat, walking back to hotel was simple ( this was downhill ), it was good to have security gates, we had a suite - it was clean and bright with lovely views, some staff were helpful, flora and fauna outside was attractive. We had a nice little terrace.
Not so good: suite looked like it had been furnished by IKEA, very peculiar vibe bearing in mind we were in Ravello, it did not feel like Italy, bathroom was way too big with a huge scary bath that could house 2 or 3 people (we did not touch it ) , shower had very little power, toiletries were poor standard and looked recycled, no fridge, curtains were drab and grubby, no complimentary water (in 30degrees heat ) , no coffee other than 2 Nescafé sachets, there was a sign telling you that snacks must be paid for (Oreo cookies) and another one telling you that you would be charged if you lost your key! It was very expensive to stay there. We have stayed in more luxurious, authentic, classy hotels for less than we paid for this one. Some staff were very unhelpful.

I spent two nights here in June and did not enjoy my stay one bit.
Despite being “upgraded” to a better room - there was glass on the floor, dirty pillows and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in ruining the last two nights of my ten day Amalfi trip - sending me home tired and with the most horrific back pains.
The hotel offered me €20 off my stay and water on check out and after emailing since, I had a passive aggressive response offering me €50 off my next stay - why would I want to stay there again, knowing I will leave tired and with a bad back.
The response regarding the bed was “ , we confirm that we explained that our mattresses are ergonomic, consequently they need to be slightly harder to better sustain your spine: passing, for example, from a memory foam mattress, where your body “plunges” to a more rigid one, can cause a little difference in your sleep experience and we regret that you had to undergo a massage therapy to recover.“
I am 31 and have never in my life developed such a bad back from a bed !
It is a shame as the views were stunning and the porter was so lovely and kind but i cannot comprehend how a bed can be so uncomfortable.
Rooms are were also basic - if this was an upgrade, I dread to think what the original room was like.
The pool was also very basic

Villa Piedmonte was an absolute treat to stay at in Ravello. From their complimentary breakfast, shuttle to city center, stunning pool views and amazing staff, we couldn’t have asked for a better hotel experience. The rooms are simple but have everything you need and staff was so helpful.

Villa Piedimonte is a beautiful hotel, rested in the hills of Ravello with an outstanding view of the coast. The service was top notch and the hotel was very clean. We loved relaxing by the pool, and they offered complimentary shuttles to and from Ravello center. They also assisted in scheduling car services to other neighboring towns and were delightful to work with. My only complaint would be that I had mentioned it was our honeymoon in hopes they would include a thoughtful ammenity upon arrival but we did not receive anything which I thought to be weird as I am in the hotel industry and would not miss the opportunity to surprise and delight guests who entrust us to celebrate such a joyous occasion. Even with that said, I would recommend this hotel to anyone! The staff are so kind and professional!! You will not regret booking.

Great hotel! Beautiful view!
Great hotel!! I always flock to smaller boutique hotels that are more authentic and not over the top. Villa piedimonte is the perfect choice! Perfect location to downtown ravello and rooms are very big. Rooftop pool is really nice. I would highly recommend! Not to mention the views are spectacular!!!
Just fine, not impressive

The view is breathtaking, that's for sure (other than the unsightly building just below your eye line). We had a weird experience where we just weren't impressed with their customer service. Their third party service driver coming from Amalfi was very rude to us when we had no control over the situation and I asked to either not have that driver again or cancel our future drives. They couldn't do either without us having to pay the cancellation fee (50% of the cost of a very expensive drive to Bomerano). I think if you affiliate yourself with a company and insist we use them because of the high quality you say that have, it would make sense to help out when they screw up. When we walked into the hotel after being driven by the rude driver, we weren't really greeted, instead the driver was greeted and they had a conversation in Italian that sounded exasperated. We just felt in the way. Completely different experience from our last hotel we had stayed in in Capri where they made you feel at home and welcome. Their dining area feels like a cafeteria, very cold, the coffee was bad (considering you're in Italy..). The bedding was uncomfortably rough. Floors in the bathroom were noticeably dirty with hair. The bathtub/shower combo is strangely high off the ground so I wouldn't recommend for people with mobility issues (I was even nervous climbing out, worried I might slip). They do drive you within the town of Ravello, on 30 minute increments up until 8pm (I don't know why it has to be 30 minute increments; yet another reminder that we had just left our nice hotel in Capri where they were happy to drive you to town any time up until 10 or 11pm). The timing doesn't make sense with Italian dinners being around 8pm but we walked back and it was fine. Overall, it just felt wildly different compared to our previous hotel we were at. Sort of like staying at a La Quinta instead of a 4 star hotel. If you're looking to save money on your trip and get a nice view, this one will do the trick, just don't expect anything impressive.

This is a lovely hotel, with a stunning view that is second to none from bedroom, pool and breakfast area. Very friendly and helpful staff from maids, ground staff, reception and food and drink. We were made very welcome by everyone.
It is probably the best smelling hotel I have been to with the scent of Jasmine where ever you go.
The room we had (505) was huge although design did not get best of space, however the terrace and sun lounge area was great.
The pool is great and easy to get a bed, pool staff always on hand helping with towels and ordering food and drink, they also provided some good local recommendations for food and drink.
Breakfast is good with varied offering from cereals, yoghurts, fruit, eggs, bacon and pastries.
Although the hotel offers room service until 10.00pm there is no evening dining room and no bar. This is probably the first hotel I have been to without a bar. No problem to have food and drink in your room but you should be aware of this when booking. Doesn't detract from the hotel as Ravello is full of great food and bars.
Hotel runs a shuttle until about 8.30pm every half hour or so, just book it at reception and you get a lift up the hill to the centre of Ravello.
I would recommend a stay here if you want somewhere quiet to recover from sightseeing of which there is plenty in the Amalfi coast area.

We did!
