Union Street Inn is a very special place. Truly the kindest of innkeepers and most welcoming staff we've ever encountered at any hotel or B&B. It's by far the best B&B we've ever stayed in. They put so much pride into making the inn so beautiful and making their guests feel welcome and comfortable . We didn't want to leave for so many reasons. The location is perfect, the breakfast was amazing, the room was adorable & immaculate with such a comfy bed and the fresh afternoon sweets were such a delicious treat! I would never stay anywhere else in Nantucket. I cannot think of anything they could've done to make our stay more comfortable or better. Just wish we could've stayed longer and can't wait to return!

The Union Inn is great. We had a charming room, having an excellent b'fast each morning is a real plus. We loved the place and will definitely stay there again!! The staff is great, very helpful and friendly in booking local activities. So glad we found this gem.

I would go back to Union Street Inn again and again . The staff felt like family - so friendly , welcoming, helpful. Great advice on dining, activities, adventures ! The breakfasts were delish, room was cozy, bed comfy, zero conplaints ! This was our first visit but not our last !

This is a lovely property in an excellent location, basically right in town. We were in room three, which is against the road and had a bit of car noise but not enough to impact sleep. I would like if the room had black out shades, and the bathroom shower is a bit tight. But the furnishings are well done, the bed is comfy and that particular room is fairly spacious overall. Breakfast was basically made to order and very good. Their garden patio is very peaceful. We loved the complimentary canned water and to-go coffee cups. The innkeepers were always available to answer questions or give suggestions, but weren’t busy-bodies. B&B’s in general aren’t our favorite…we don’t really want to talk to anyone at breakfast or feel like we’re sharing too much common space. But with short notice to book a room in Nantucket, the bigger hotels were full so we came here. I think this property did a nice job of balancing how much attention each guest wanted. It’s about 2 blocks to the ferry dock on cobblestones. We were able to manage fine with our suitcases. They have a place to store rented bikes overnight. They had beach chairs to borrow but we did not use them. With the location, no car is necessary. We could walk everywhere in town very easily. The free bus to Sconset was very close to the inn. The shuttle to Cisco Brewery was a few blocks away. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend, especially if you’re the B&B type!

We found this inn during our trip when a little hotel disaster forced us to find a new location. Wow, we are glad we did! Firstly, they were so accommodating. They found us a suitable room at a reasonable price when I called after 9 pm the evening before we needed to check-in. They even invited us to come for breakfast the next morning. While we enjoyed a wonderful cooked breakfast, our bags were quietly moved into our room, which was beautiful and had a nice handwritten welcome note. Everything we needed was there, plenty of plugs were around and the TV and Wi-Fi worked fine. But the real standout was the staff! Learning it was an anniversary trip, they placed a bucket of champagne in our room while we were out touring with a nice "Happy Anniversary" message. We were ready to move in permanently! The hotel is located in a beautiful sea captain's house dating to the 1770's, impeccably maintained and logistically well positioned just 0.2 miles from the ferry port and a small grocery with everything a traveler would need. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - if there were 6 stars, we would give them to the Union Street Inn!

Beautiful and historic building and grounds literally steps away from downtown but extremely peaceful and quiet. Truly a treat to stay there and in terms of the innkeepers incredible attention to detail and willingness to help curate and advise when asked about plans- tons of local knowledge. Will return!

If you are considering where to stay while in Nantucket this is your place! Kevin Dennis and Michael were so gracious and helpful and made our stay so enjoyable. The Inn is very quiet and has been decorated and restored beautifully with a European feel. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we were delayed by weather a day but we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Breakfast was the highlight of my husband’s stay. The offerings were delicious (and beautiful)! Thank you for making our stay perfect.

This was our first trip to Nantucket and we couldn’t have chosen a more amazing B&B than the Union Street Inn. We knew we wanted to stay in a historic home while in Nantucket and we just loved this old whaling captain’s home the minute we walked in. The Union Street Inn was beautifully decorated and it was obvious that it has been well cared for. Our room was spacious, well appointed and the bed was super comfy. Kevin and staff were most gracious hosts. It was obvious that they genuinely cared about their guests by treating us like family. Each morning we were greeted by the friendly staff and enjoyed a delicious breakfast that was made-to-order. The location was also excellent - a short walk to the ferry, shops and dining. We were so pleased with our stay that we will definitely be returning to the Union Street Inn in the future. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

Fantastic getaway. Dennis and his staff treated us like old friends- made us feel at home immediately. We appreciated the little touches at Union Street Inn- a fantastic breakfast served on the patio, mid-afternoon snacks and drinks available, and chocolates in the room. Room 5 was sweet— bathroom was cozy, but this is well advertised on the website. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great.

Our daughter had recommended this inn to us and we were not disappointed. The hospitality is excellent, the room was comfortable and appointed beautifully, the linens were great and the breakfast was delicious. And the location was just off Main Street. What more could you want?

Owners are very welcoming and helpful. Inn extremely clean and well kept. Homemade breakfast was excellent. The availability of tea , coffee and water all day is a nice touch. The cookies were fantastic. Would definitely return.
