We had dinner in Wilde. The food was delicious, and the setting was lovely. We had cocktails in The Sidecar after dinner. It was busy, but we had no issue getting a table. The cocktails were great. Breakfast the following morning was excellent, and there was plenty of selection.
The only negative was that our allocated room was underwhelming. We booked a standard king room, and while I'm aware that the hotels has superior rooms, I was very surprised that the standard rooms weren't of a high standard in keeping with the rest of the hotel. The room was dated, in need of renovation, and the lack of a walk-in shower was a disappointment for a 5 star hotel.
The rest of the hotel is outstanding.

We have stayed in The Westbury a number of times, and by far, this was our best stay. The staff were completely amazing working to the highest standards but also allowing their personalities and professionalism to shine through. So, for me what makes a good stay when you arrive at a hotel and you are treated like an old friend who they haven't seen in a while but they are delighted to see you again.
That is The Westbury experience

Currently staying at the Westbury for a birthday & anniversary weekend, with my husband. I have been to the Westbury many times over the years and it only seems to get better. I am extremely fussy and rarely find a hotel that lives up to our high standards. The Westbury is next level, from we arrived at the hotel the valet parking, a warm welcome at reception, were son professional and accomodating. The Assistant Guest Experience manager, Aoife, who introduced herself and made left her card in our room, the attention to detail is top notch. In the room we had a beautiful welcome and card from the manager and every single member of staff has even friendly, chatty and welcoming. The hotel itself is so perfect, I don't want to leave tomorrow!! The atmosphere and cocktails at the Sidecar bar are unbelievable. The breakfast was perfect, the location cannot be beaten. If you are looking for a perfect stay in Dublins most iconic hotel, choose the Westbury for your next city break, it's high standards will not be beaten!! L. McAllister

This was one of a small handful of hotels recommended to us by our private touring agent Kennedy & Carr. We chose The Westbury based on the style and location and it didn’t disappoint. Our room was cozy and quiet with a view across the rooftops of Dublin. Bathroom quite small but shower great. Bathroom was even smaller on visit to London as part of same trip - it’s a European thing. Service from front desk to the lounge and bar is friendly and efficient. Cocktails in Sidecar are amazing. Breakfast wide ranging and delicious. Restaurant Wilde looks good for dinner but we ended up dining out each night. Bruxelles pub just outside is great for a late night pint among locals!

We had the most beautiful festive stay at the Westbury last weekend, & I cannot reccommend it highly enough. . From the moment we arrived our Christmas began, 🎄 from the amazing decor & lights outside, which is so beautiful, the prompt Conciererge service, & the wonderful welcoming staff, & then we had the most Devine dinner at the gorgeous Wilde Restaurant followed by cocktails afterwards in the Sidebar cocktails bar 🍸 Just Amazing, loved every minute. Also it is so close to Grafton Street, Brown Thomas & all of the beautifully decorated streets & stores of Dublin. . Just the perfect start to our Christmas holidays. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, will definitely be back ❤️

Went for dinner with my family, boyfriend and in-laws (Wedding preparations🎉) We had the most amazing dinner and dessert. Not to mention the fabulous staff that served us drinks in the bar above. Couldn't recommend it more. Will soon be back !
An absolutely perfect stay in the heart of Dublin, great service and incredible room! The staff were brilliant! Friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and I would recommend trying some of the great cocktails on offer too! Will be recommending to family and friends.
Water pressure is the worst I’ve ever seen. 3 black hairs in shower and we are both blonde. Just irritated as it’s so expensive and our honeymoon as we leave at 4 am so can’t even bother to call down. Suitcases took forever to come up. Not worth $400 a...

New refurbished rooms are very impressive . Drinks the Sidecar is always an experience before Dinner. Food was excellent in Balfes Bistro and breakfast in Wildes restaurant is to be savoured. Eddie at the Concierge desk was so attentive and offered helpful advice.

From the minute we walked in the door of the Westbury for our stay we were met with the most fabulous staff , but the guest experience manager Elena was honestly the best Iv come across she was so warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us, so much so we are going to cancel a booking we had made in Kerry and return back to the Westbury in April for my birthday instead!
Along with that the newly refurbished rooms are divine as are the byredo products in the bathrooms! The beds are also some of the nicest Iv stayed in! All in all such a positive experience and we can not wait to return !

WOW! The place is beautiful. So much to do from here also. We did not have time for tea but see it is something we need to do next time. Also, the Guest Service was so OUTSTANDING. We had a small problem and Sarah looked after it right away and fixed it. She made us feel that she really cared. This type of service rarely exists anymore. Thank you all!

This is a great hotel with amazing staff. We were very impressed when the front desk gladly took our luggage 2 days before our check-in (we did a tour outside Dublin first) and when we returned to the hotel, they had already brought up our luggage in the room—where a chilled champagne was also waiting for us. Outstanding and attentive service! The signature suite was well appointed, decent in size for the European standard, with a comfy four poster bed, high quality linens, and Malin+Goetz bathroom products. Delicious breakfast at Wilde, great service by Brendan! We also enjoyed cocktails at the Sidecar—Leticia and Adrian took care of us with warm kindness. All other staff we’ve interacted throughout our stay was also very nice, eager to help. Prompt and attentive housekeeping too. The tiny gym is only part that we felt could use some expansion and update. Overall, I would place the Westbury to the top tier of the 5 star hotels we have visited so far.

We came from Cork by train and we found an Oasis of Exquisite hospitality from the moment we stepped through the elegant entrance of The Westbury hotel, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of refined and genuine warmth.
The greeting was not merely perfunctory, it was a carefully orchestrated welcome that made us feel instantly valued and anticipated.
The concierge, with an intuitive understanding of our needs, offered a seamless check-in experience, attending to every detail with grace and efficiency.
Their genuine smile and welcoming us to the vibrant city of Dublin set the perfect tone for our stay even if it was only for one night.
Throughout our time at The Westbury, the level of service remained consistently impeccable. Each member of the staff, from the attentive servers in the exquisitely appointed dining areas to the discreet housekeeping team, exuded professionalism and a sincere desire to ensure our comfort and delight.
Every interaction felt personalized, as if our individual preferences were not just noted, but truly cherished.
The luxurious amenities and stunning surroundings were undoubtedly impressive, but it was the exceptional human touch that truly elevated our experience. We felt not just like guests, but like cherished individuals being welcomed into a haven of unparalleled hospitality, is more than just a five-star hotel, it is a sanctuary where every detail is meticulously curated to provide an unforgettable experience of luxury and genuine care.
We departed feeling rejuvenated, indulged, and deeply appreciative of the exceptional treatment we received.
This is a destination we wholeheartedly recommend to those seeking an escape where their comfort and well-being are paramount.
See you next time 😎🤙
