Booked a last minute reservation and checked in late one evening. Checkin was very smooth. This was our second stay at The Foundry. Very clean and comfortable room. Brought our dog and it was all very easy. Very close to a small park to take dog. Quiet area. Very comfortable bed. Will definitely return.

Just an overall great experience. Beautiful overall aesthetic - the lounge/bar area is a great place to hang out - lots of windows to let natural light in throughout the property. Friendly staff. Pros: - large walk-in shower (no need to step into a tub) with good water pressure -...

Just an overall great experience. Beautiful overall aesthetic - the lounge/bar area is a great place to hang out - lots of windows to let natural light in throughout the property. Friendly staff. Pros: - large walk-in shower (no need to step into a tub) with good water pressure - quiet room - didn't hear anything outside or from the hallway - comfortable bed - short walk to everything downtown Asheville has to offer - minor point but bar provides free sparkling water (on tap) if requested - no charge like most places - Willis (I believe that was his name) is a bartender who takes his craft very seriously. Cons: - only has valet parking. Nice system via texting to have your car ready when you need it. Street parking is free on Sundays if you happen to be there that day.

Spent two days here and had a wonderful experience. When checking in, Takidra provided a warm welcome and excellent service. Our room was comfortable and the Nespresso machine was a nice perk. The lounge with bar is a cozy spot to relax after walking around town. Would absolutely stay again!

Great location and very friendly, considerate and helpful staff…………except one of the bartenders. ‘P’ was very situationally unaware, interrupting or interjecting into private conversations. Also made cocktails inconsistently which is bizarre in that dedicated role. What a contrast up at the Grove Park Inn where we enjoyed drinks unmolested and enjoying our surrounds. Hotels and Restaurants rely on the bar to boost revenue but we declined to attend on New Year’s Eve because it was not enjoyable. So do go and enjoy the Foundry but know that you have lots of bar options nearby if ‘P’ is still around. We would still return.

We stayed here overnight in mid-December 2024 and loved it. Great hotel, great location, very clean, excellent Management and Staff. We had breakfast at the new hotel restaurant and it was excellent as well. The breakfast potatoes that came with the eggs and bacon were exceptional -- the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had. I don't know how the chef made them so crispy on the outside but so soft on the inside. Kudo's to him for that. Also, thanks to the breakfast server who brought our meals to the table in the lobby along with all the cutlery, salt/pepper, water, coffee, etc.. Dogs are allowed in the hotel but not in the restaurant so she really helped us by brining every thing out to us - many thanks for that. Asheville is still very slow due to the hangover after the hurricane. The hotel and nearby restaurants are all open and you can get right in without crowds or lines. Same is true for the Biltmore Estate. We spent the entire day there and the evening to see the Christmas decorations. It was excellent and no crowds at all. I cannot recommend Asheville, The Foundry Hotel and the Biltmore any more highly--all are excellent. Thanks to the team at the Foundry for making our stay special.

Oh my goodness! What a wonderful stay in mid-September this year. Room was perfect comfortable in every way. The staff made sure we were away from any noise as we wanted a quiet room. They put it in the room the overlooks the church; perfect choice. Staff was amazing and so helpful. We stayed two weeks before the hurricane hit so not sure when they will re-open but it was such a pleasure from the valet to the registration person and we hope to stay there again in the future.

I stayed here toward the end of July 2024. I was in town for a wedding. Within 15 minutes of checking out of my room I realized I had not removed my Rolex watch from the safe which had already been unlocked to remove other valuables. I immediately called the hotel and they sent housekeeping in to retrieve the watch and "it could not be located" I subsequently made contact with hotel management. Ren and Derek were very responsive and sympathetic. They checked their cameras to see which if their employees entered the room and questioned all of the employees that were in the area of my room, but unsurprisingly no one admitted to theft of a Rolex. Beyond the watch situation, I found the stay at Foundry to be pretty mediocre. I was in room 201A which overlooked a loading dock. The walls were absolutely paper thin and my room was situated next to the elevator. Every time the elevator would be called to the floor I heard a loud beeping noise in my room. I was working from my room for most of the day one of the days and was hearing constant commotion outside of my door from housekeeping and people in the corridor. If I were to return to Asheville, I would look elsewhere for accommodations.

The Foundry exceeded all of our expectations. 100% quality from the accommodations to the staff. We wanted a hotel that was close to downtown but still rather quiet and cozy. The Foundry was perfect for us. The bed was comfy, linens were high end hotel grade, and the AC worked great! We slept very well. We were in the new building so I can’t speak to the rooms in the historic section. There is a restaurant on site, Benne, but it was only open until 2 pm. We had breakfast there one morning and we would have returned if our stay was longer. Delicious food and their serving dishes are from the Asheville local, East Fork pottery. There is also a fantastic lounge in the lobby area, Workshop Lounge. Excellent drinks plus they serve a small menu of food. We stopped every evening before heading out to explore Asheville in the evenings. I wish I would have written down the name of the bartenders and back staff, because they all went above and beyond! We highly recommend the Foundry and will stay again next time we visit Asheville!

It was lovely sitting out in their courtyard enjoying the evening. We would definitely stay here again!

The foundry is in a great location, the front staff was wonderful, they are so nice. It was very clean. The gym is small but they have peloton bikes! Try to pre book and get a top floor. The bed was so comfy! The bathroom was very nice. Would recommend!

And they meant it!

We stayed for our Anniversary and the service is exceptional! We did valet and we were upgraded for our Anniversary! It is exquisite with beautiful history and top notch amenities. Very close to walk to restaurants in town! Thank you for a great stay

Best hotel experience in a long tme. Great service, very comfortable beds, fantastic, large shower, nice towels. Good location, responsive valet, Experienced, caring staff. $$$ and worth it. A- instead of A= bc of the steps.

The hotel is in a great spot and the rooms are in top shape. A great perk is the Tesla drop off feature to downtown spots!
