As I entered the room I was in awe of the lake view. Like literally a few feet from the room. The room was nicely decorated with a small kitchen with everything you need to make your stay easier.
Everyone at the front desk was super friendly. Housekeeping was great. The amenities were abundant.
I am already planning to return. What a hidden gem.

I booked a queen room while literally driving up the mountain on a third party site last Sunday. Upon arrival, I asked if they by any chance had a king room available? She gave me a free upgrade to a condo!! We stayed in condo 127. Wow, right on the beach with an amazing view of the mountains and steps from the lake. What great customer service to upgrade me when the lodge was not full. The decor is rustic and the condo was very clean.
This was just a stop over for my trip, but I'm so glad to have found this property and hope to return to enjoy it.
It is a little far to walk to Stateline if you want to go to the casinos and at 0615, I couldn't find a close coffee place open (condo had full kitchen and coffee pot and coffee but since I was passing through I didn't feel like messing with it) so I drove a couple miles to go to Starbucks. Coffee in hand and a jacket on for a sunny but crisp autumn morning I took a walk down the beach-BEAUTIFUL!! I returned via the road and found there are boat rentals and little shops and restaurants. There is a CVS right next to the lodge for anything you might need. There is a breakfast restaurant called Heidi's next to the lodge. It's got a Swiss alps old school theme. We really enjoyed our breakfast in a cozy booth and the service was good. ( we went there shortly after they opened and it was already busy-by the time we checked out around 0945 there was a line to get in).
Bottom line: It's not a luxury property, but if the rate is good, and you want to relax, it's a lovely place to enjoy the beauty of the lake steps from your door.

As part of a trip to California and Nevada, I booked a confirmed reservation at Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge for August 13th and 14th on the Hotelsone website. The reservation was paid in full.
Unfortunately, tropical storm Debby hit the Savannah area in early August and caused me to cancel the trip that I had planned. Although I missed the date to cancel without penalty, I did cancel the reservation at the Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge in accordance with the instructions listed on the Hotelsone website. According to the cancellation policy, I am entitled to a refund of $389.0 for 1 night lodging and $110.03 equal to half of the tax recovery charges and service fees. or a total of $499.03. My efforts to recover these funds from Hotelsone have been unsuccessful because of the obstacles erected by Hotelsone. Similarly, Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge has refused to refund the monies owed by its agent. I have additional documentation to support my claim.

This place was everything we hoped for and more! We went for our 5 year anniversary and they’d left us a card with a bottle of wine. Upon booking, we realized they also took away the amenity fee due to their pool not being heated as they were going through renovations. We travel a lot and never has a place willingly taken away the amenity fee to better serve its guests. We had a room with a balcony facing the lake and I enjoyed it every morning we were there. It was peaceful and beautiful to see the mountains and lake. We saw Stellar Jays in the morning. The gas fireplace heated the room perfectly so we were never cold. The staff were always friendly and there to answer our questions! The tv didn’t work but we didn’t go all the way to Tahoe to watch tv so it didn’t bother us at all! It’s in walking distance to the shops and breakfast is next door. We loved everything about our stay and after seeing the other hotels we were considering, we were always happy to see ours was better (especially for location).

Lovely place to stay, beautiful outlook onto the mountains and lake. Unfortunately when we went there were no restaurants open, as there isn’t a restaurant within the hotel complex. Nevertheless the view was beautiful. Free parking onsite.

We stayed here for two nights the first week in October. It is located right on the water with a full beach area. There’s a hot tub and a heated pool outside as well as a fire pit that they keep lit on the weekends. The location to South Tahoe “downtown” is only a few minutes. There are restaurants, shopping, and grocery nearby. The room is dated but very comfortable. The fireplace was nice since it was already cold outside. The kitchen is stocked with fridge, stove and microwave; dishes and pots.

I stayed at one of the One-Bedroom Lake View Condos and had a pleasant experience. Check-in was quick, and they handed me two actual keys (not cards) to the condo. There is permit-only parking at the resort, and I was able to park steps away from our door.
The interior of the condo itself wasn’t particularly glamorous, but that’s not why I stayed here. The furniture is a bit mismatched, but there was a full-size couch, two armchairs, a coffee table, a large entertainment cabinet with a DVD Player, and a roughly 40-inch tv which had cable television, but the channels often had trouble getting the signal, and I would end up with a station that was just audio only.
The kitchen included a dining table and I think there were a total of 4 chairs. Provided in the kitchen was a dishwashing machine, which was quite loud while in use. A coil-top stove-top oven, and a microwave all worked just fine. A full-size refrigerator and freezer. Cooking supplies were the bare minimum, but enough to get by. There was a medium and a small saucepan, a large frying pan, a large strainer, a 13x9 baking pan, a cookie sheet, and a block of kitchen knives. Plates were minimal: we had 4 Dinner Plates, Sandwich Plates, Bowls, Coffee Cups, Goblets, and 12 oz Water Glasses. Also included was a coffee pot, but we were missing filters when we got there. The front desk was able to provide some for us. Cleaning-wise they provided dish soap, a sponge, two dishwashing tablets, and a set of two paper towels, two dish rags, and two trash bags.
The bathroom included one sink and a large amount of counter space. The toilet worked well, and the shower/bathtub had what can only be described as a hostile amount of water pressure.
The bedroom was good with a king-size bed, two nightstands, a dresser, and a sliding door closet. Also in the bedroom was a small TV and DVD player. The bed was extremely soft, and the slightest movement would shake the bed.
The living room also includes a wood fireplace. Wood is provided by the front desk, but I did not test the fireplace. There is a back patio where you have a large glass table, and two chairs to sit outside and enjoy.
Sound wise the unit leaves a bit to be desired. The floors seemed to be super thin so being on the first floor I heard all the footsteps and chairs moving around above me.
The complex has free Wi-Fi, but being from a city I found the internet speed very slow, and often had dropouts.
The complex itself includes a pool and a hot tub. Complimentary beach towels are available at the front desk. The resort has a private beach so you never have to worry about getting up early to get to the beach parking in time. There is a complimentary set of beach chairs available and a handful of beach reclining chairs. The front desk also has umbrellas available for checkout, but the wind was a bit gusty, and these umbrellas don’t dig down well. Our stay also included a family of geese who appeared to call the beach home during the day. However, the geese are quite docile, and I never witnessed them harass anyone. I even saw a guest’s child throwing sand at them, and they did not retaliate. That said you will need to watch your step as birds do what birds do after a meal. The ground keepers did try to keep the pathways clean though.
The location was convenient with a CVS in the same parking lot as the resort, a Safeway two blocks away, and a Whole Foods not far either. Also, in the same lot as the resort is a restaurant called Heidi’s which serves breakfast food, and there is a donut shop called Glazed and Confused with non-traditional donuts.
Overall, I had a good stay at this resort. Keep in mind this is fairly family friendly so there were a lot of little kids running around the place on the weekend.

This is a great, lakefront property - which is hard to find without spending a fortune at Tahoe. Having lived in California for many years, it is a known fact that many of the hotels/motels/lodges have been in place at Tahoe for many years, making many of them rundown. However…the current owners of this property are doing a fantastic job of updating, maintaining and providing amenities for their guests. We booked a queen corner suite (315). The room was clean, recently updated and well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen and a nice sized balcony. To top it all off, we had a breathtaking view of the lake. The staff were very friendly, check in and out was a breeze, and we would definitely stay here again.

Great lakeside property, so glad I made reservations months ago, although this time of year, I believe they still had availability.
Highly recommended.
