The staff was incredible. Charlie, Sean and Liam were so kind and friendly and helpful. They offered to help us find transportation when we got snowed in while on our wedding anniversary trip there. Charlie scraped snow off our car to prevent a travel hazard for us. We plan to be back again to stay here. We felt like we were staying with friends. Exceptional experience here. Our Cabin was cozy and quiet and private. The earth stove was amazing and the jacuzzi in our bathroom was the best. Perfect experience here.

We stayed here for a ski trip for new years. The room is very clean and cozy. We stayed on the second floor and it has a nice deck with amazing lake view. Beach is within 2 minutes drive and Safeway within 5 minutes. Very close to northstar skiing as well. The lodge also has a nice hot tub and fire pit to enjoy in the winter!

This resort has has some negative reviews that are unjustified. I can be a very critical reviewer and have been for other hotels, however, our experience is as follows: Awesome check-in host, fast, efficient and friendly. Room #33 was clean and ready for our stay. Walls adorned with Tahoe themed pictures, small table for our morning coffee with a view of the lake. There was a small electric fire place style heater 5hat was perfect for taking the chill off the room. In fact, with 32 degree weather it actually got too warm! Tub while narrow was great for a hot soak on my bad back and water was plenty hot enough. OK, most important, the bed. Absolutely plush and comfortable! Both my wife and myself need a specific grade of firmness/softness and this was it! Both snored all night, a good sign. Some complained about bath towels being thin.......seriously? I personally use the bath towels to dry off and throw on the floor so if you want thick,fluffy bath towels to dry off and throw on the floor, sure find another hotel and I am sure they will have the towels you crave....for $100 more a night....your choice. I plan on coming back here this summer to get a taste of the warmer season, but expect nothing less than the awesome experience we just had!

Don’t let the wine bar fool you - there is no wine served. It is just a lounge in front of the reception desk where you can drink with friends, BYOB. I assume this resort was very luxurious in the 60s or whenever it was built. It has many amenities that may appeal to families- volleyball, put-put golf, a nightly fire with s‘mores and right across a busy road from the beach. The room was clean and cosy but it is all a bit dated, Even the towels were thin and old. For the expensive off-season rate we paid I expected more up-to-date accommodations.

Took a summer couples trip for the first time to Lake Tahoe. Not only was this the only property with EV charging on the north end but it was right across the street from the lake. With gas grilling available on property and free smores at night it was a great easy getaway. The cabins were clean and beds were comfortable. Will definitely come again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay! It was a joy to look out on the lake from our unit's window each morning while we ate breakfast. Unit was well equipped with kitchenette and spacious with a comfy king bed and room to relax in the main room. Grounds were well-kept with nice touches, and the easement access to the beach across the street was very nice. EV charging was really important to us, and they seem to manage the one J-1772 plug (they also have a Tesla charger). Service was friendly and responsive--we had to deal with some minor issues that were taken care of immediately.

My husband and I stayed in a lodge room for 3 nights in July 2024. The room was spacious enough for the two of us and decorated nicely. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The biggest downside was finding out upon check-in that none of the rooms in the lodge have air conditioning! We were there during a particularly hot week and only having a window fan at night wasn’t enough to keep us cool. We were told only the cabins have A/C but they were all booked so we couldn’t upgrade. The website does mention they have A/C but does not specify there is none in the lodge rooms. The only other negative is the lack of food available. They have no restaurant on site and no vending machines. They do offer coffee, tea, and water in the lobby, which was nice. Some of the other pluses were nice views, swimming pool, fire pit area, and convenient location to many attractions.

We were here two night, just a weekend getaway. I loved the gas fireplace and deep tub. Very soft sheets. We stayed in one of the studio cottages. The second night we had neighbors, and even still it was peaceful. I d see slept great!

This is one of the most beautiful and cozy cabin to stay. Especially for someone who lives in California Bay Area, this is a very nice weekend getaway relaxation resort. Pros: very nice location right near Lake Tahoe. Cabins are comfy and beautiful and very clean. Electric charging station option....

This is one of the most beautiful and cozy cabin to stay. Especially for someone who lives in California Bay Area, this is a very nice weekend getaway relaxation resort. Pros: very nice location right near Lake Tahoe. Cabins are comfy and beautiful and very clean. Electric charging station option. Very friendly staff and very helpful. Cons: you don’t have breakfast buffet option and another very minor one. Bathroom shower water is very slow. I think this is mainly because of the California drought, any hotel or resort you go usually the showers will have additional filters to limit water usage. Well this would be ok during the summer but when weather outside is very cold, having water running this slow might be a big disappointment for some guests.

This is the lodge we return to every time we head to Tahoe! The staff is friendly, the cabins are so comfy, well-stocked and clean and quaint, and the location is very central. It's right off the highway and one block across from beach access. Unfortunately, this year we had a family emergency and had to cancel. Charlie, the manager, was VERY flexible and gave us a full refund, which was OVER and ABOVE the cancellation policy. We will never go anywhere else in Tahoe! Check out Cedar Glen!

We've vacationed in Lake Tahoe for many years. We where intrigued by Cedar Glen Lodge and the Tahoe themed property. It lived up to our expections! Our cabin was clean and very charming. Lots to do on the property with a pool, hot tub, firepit, putting green and kitchens in some units. This is a great vacation spot for families. The staff was extemely accomodating and helpful. The property is ideally located between Tahoe City and Incline Village with easy access to all Lake Tahoe restaurants and activities. We can see why it's in such demand! This is a very nice cozy lodge! The location is great, right across from the lake and restaurants close by. It was very clean with a coffee pot and if you forget your personal items like shampoo and soap its all there for you. The decor is rustic and cozy.
