Highlights. We’ve been to many hotels in Egypt and always found great service, however every member of staff at this hotel looked like they were treated well and enjoyed their job. I usually hate buffet restaurants, this one was a joy to sit in. The staff would welcome you with genuine happiness, I’d watch them interact with each other, actually enjoying their shift. This must be because the management at this hotel are top class. M.Maher and his team made every guest feel like a VIP. The A La Carte restaurants were also excellent, both the food and the ambiance. We had lunch on the beach looking over the beautiful beach. Good wine, a menu of fresh food cooked when ordering. Lots of choice and good service. Plenty of sun loungers on beach, we sat in the adult area which was shaded from the wind. Again good service from the beach with fresh towels and drinks service. Beds around the pool did get busy but there were lots of roof top terrace areas that were lovely to sunbathe on, of course with drinks delivered to you, it felt very premium and very relaxing. No need to ever go the bar anywhere in the hotel, there was always waiters coming to your service. The gym. My husband who is a fairly new to using the gym ended up going 5 out of 7 mornings because he enjoyed it so much. Mohammed was the ultimate PT there , it was incredible to watch how committed he was to helping the guests, teaching techniques and sharing workout programmes. The best I have ever known!

I landed home this morning and wanted to write a review straight away. My partner and I have had the most fabulous time at the Arabian beach resort. The staff made the holiday. They were so helpful, friendly and happy. The man who worked at the pool Abdel Hameed brought towels to our swim up room every morning, he was kind, happy and so friendly. He always wanted to make us happy. The Barman Ehab brought drinks throughout the day and the cleaner made the most amazing displays and kept the room well stocked and clean. All very friendly men and they couldn’t do enough for us. Restaurant staff were also very good. The Indian and Thai are particularly good. The dive centre was brilliant, again great staff. We are already looking to book again next year.

Posh Club is great and the staff are attentive, it’s worth booking direct with the hotel to get a better deal and they will organise a transfer (limousine gets lost in translation mind). Food is always a worry, but not here as it is varied and fresh, the prawns were some of the best we’ve ever tasted! The beach is tidy but not much space to swim because of the reef. That said the reef is quality, even managed to watch a spotted eagle stingray off the pier for 10 minutes.. Bring your snorkel as there is so many things to see! There’s a big area to swim out off the pier and plenty of pools anyway. Shout out to the staff, in particular Wardy and Patricia who work so hard to please and always smile. The hotel manager does his walk around and is really friendly and approachable. 3rd time in Egypt and the best hotel and staff yet. We’re still here and loving it, if there’s no more below this line then no problems.

This is a very high quality resort. Fantastic amenities & professional and very helpful staff. Our room was excellent, well presented and spacious. We had room 4219 and the room cleaner (Hamad ?) was very attentive & pleasant. We were lucky enough to be exceptionally well taken care of by our manager friend Mr. Mohamed Maher - thankyou so much for every thing you did for us ! Also we must thank another manager friend - Mr Mohamed the Executive Chef - thankyou for your care and attention and the wonderful food we enjoyed. We were also honoured to meet Mr. Younis, The General Manager a couple of times who was keen to ensure we were having a lovely time and was most generous in the gift he kindly gave to us. Thankyou so much ! Overall it is reassuring that the senior management care enough get out on the floor where the customers are to ensure everything is as it should be. That is proper management ! Some other names to mention - Abd Elhameed & Ehab at the adult pool. Great service from both of these guys - didn't want for anything - so well taken care of - thankyou ! Another big thankyou goes out to the entertainment manager and his deputy Koko. I am a retired singer and guitarist (Tennessee Jack) and it was greatly appreciated that Koko suggested that I perform a couple of nights for the guests in addition to the hotel artiste. I really enjoyed myself - great time ! We enjoyed the ala carte restaurants - our favourites - The Thai, The Italian & The Indian. Fabulous food and service from the staff. The resort overall is very well kept and maintained. Cannot say enough good things about this resort - the staff are amazing and work very hard to ensure the guests have a great time. This will be definitely be our "return to" resort for our future trips to Sharm.

Sun Rise Arabian Beach Resort A late review Travelled in November 2024 From 02-11-14 to 14-11-24 Room 2227 We are regular Travellers to Egypt and have been to so many different hotels so have a very good understanding of standards, culture, and way of life in Egypt. This Hotel has something for everyone, we will return. Overall experience A clean hotel, very large so you will get your steps in each day. The hotel is willing to listen to guest, nice pools and staff. It seems the other guest cause issues not the hotel itself. We would return and recommend it to others. The phone shop inside the hotel has a very helpful guy, there not too pushy and reasonably priced. Pharmacy very good priced very knowledgeable and professional, and can help with any medical issues you may need. Positives: The weather is always nice, no matter what time of year you visit. There are 5 Ala carte Restaurants on this site, all are free for all inclusive. Staff are very helpful, in most areas of this Hotel. Rooms are cleaned daily to a good standard; Towels are changed daily and are large and soft. Nora Restaurant is Buffet stye, main place to eat. Breakfast at Nora is good. There is Cereal, eggs, Yogurt, bread cheeses, fruit the usual you would expect. Tea, Coffee fresh juice and squash. We found getting hold of a Nescafe coffee very hard work, they did have them in small instant sachets, just getting staff to actually, look for them was a really difficult and time consuming to say the least. There were two waiters that stood out in Nora restaurant who very helpful always happy and smiling to meet guest, and help out guest. Waiter Hesham (sorry if your name is spelt wrong) He was so nice and conscientious, on our very first morning at this hotel, he, came to say hello as we looked lost, it was nice to see a friendly face, who was very happy to offer his help and explain how the restaurant worked, we really appreciated this especially on our first day. He is a real asset to the hotel. Waiter Red He always found us a table, at busy times this can be tricky, he was very professional, well-mannered and very respectful. He was always busy but always found time to say hello and ask how our day was going, another hard-working member of team Nora. The restaurant can become very chaotic when busy. Lunch Time Food on offer most days are the same Salads, fresh BBQ Chicken, bread, soups. There are different dishes changed daily, but there was always something nice to choose from. We found the food to be hot, fresh tasty and well prepared, the Chef’s are on hand to ask questions and give your feed back to they are smart and well manned. Dinner Time You can take food from both buffet restaurants and sit in either one. Swimming Pools There are a few, Main Pool. The main pool is very large, suitable for family’s people who like noise, and load music. The pool looks very nice, its clean and has a bar, for drinks and pool snacks water slide, and games and entertainment throughout the day, also has a couple of wall falls. Relaxing pool. Farooq (sorry if spelt wrong) was our pool guy. He was a very nice guy, did a great job, not over friendly but friendly enough. He kept to the pool rules and was not a person pleaser which is much better otherwise it makes their job extra harder to enforce. He left after a few days so changed over to Adb Elhamed Again (sorry if name is spelt wrong) He was a very happy guy, always wanting to help people, this leads to guest taking advantage of him. Others can make or break your holiday. A relaxing pool is meant to be a place for quiet, calm people, peaceful. Others want to play music without headphones, talk or laugh loud get drunk, shout and cause a scene. Unfortunately, Abd was unable to control this guest behaviour, as he wanted to please everyone which just will not work out. He did his best, but he should have called a manager to make them go to the main pool. After all, if guest don’t want to follow the rules they should not be allowed to stay. Waterfall Bar Waiter Mohammed Ayman (sorry if spelt wrong) He was an extremely hard-working waiter, he bought us coffee every day regular, he was very conscientious, but always smiling. That was until, a guest started to abuse him by shouting at him, for no reason. The guest was drunk and had too much to drink, these people need removing, staff should not have to put up with this type of behaviour. Its disgusting to have to watch this happen to a nice polite staff member. Guest Relations officer Lena Lena is a great asset to the hotel; she is extremely professional at all times and speaks very well too. My husband became unwell, not from food, too much sun. She was most helpful and made our time more enjoyable. She called a couple of times to check up on him which was really thoughtful, she went above and beyond to make sure we were well and having a nice time. She even arranged for food to be sent to the room and they decorated our room and bought a lovely cake for our Wedding Anniversary, which was very nice. Ala carte Restaurants All were good, and offered lots of different food. It can be hard to book if you don’t have a smart phone that can scan QR codes We understand the concept of using a phone to book and order food, but I personally found it inappropriate, people are meant to be on holiday, spending time together, talking to each other not all looking at their phones. The French restaurant was our favourite we also really enjoyed the Greek, and Indian, the Italian was on the beach so good for, sea food, pizza, pasta, ice cream etc Spa Our experience was not a good one We have had loads of spa sessions in hotels before, we booked for a relaxing massage as we were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary. I had a lady and my husband had a male therapist. The Lady was very polite and professional, unfortunately the male therapist was not, he was behaving like a real idiot. He was not ready; he went missing and climbed on my husband back and started banging it. He was very heavy handed and had no idea what he was doing the lady told him a few times, it’s a relaxing massage. My husband told him to stop, this was not the massage we wanted. We had no choice but to complain to the manager, about his staff and the treatment. This was the last thing we wanted on our Anniversary, to have to do. The manger did try his best to resolve the issue, we were offered to go back another time but we decided not to, our Wedding Anniversary experience was ruined. We want to say a big Thank you to Dina from the Churchchill Bar for all the coffees and snacks she bought us each evening always happy and smiling. Negatives It’s a very large hotel. You can not walk into the sea, no sea swimming unless you use the jetty. The sea is very rocky, so unsafe, to walk out into, this could be changed. The hotel has a lot of steps but has a regular bus service to get you around. Other guest.

Superb food & Service, we have come home thoroughly relaxed & chilled..we can’t fault the hotel & hospitality, the service we received was excellent & we can’t wait to return,An extra 🙏 to head chef Mohamed Hsafy & his no.2 Mohamed plus our waiter’s in Nora Restaurant Hissham & Mohamed Abdo. Ehab in Waterfall Mongolian Restaurant & also for serving our daytime drinks at the relaxing pool(makes the best latte on site). Abdhul Hameed who took great pride in looking after the relaxing pool & keeping us supplied with fresh pool towels. Hussien French Restaurant…Sahar for cooking wonderful fresh Egyptian bread each day…Hossam for serving our delicious breakfasts in Basilico Restaurant. Mohamed Maher fb manager for all the help. A special mention for Hossam who managed both Indian & Thai restaurants & who always greeted us with a warm welcoming smile. Not forgetting Mo Younis …and an extra 🙏 to Alise & Aigerim who without question provided brilliant customer support & much appreciated help & guidance. Our experience was so good we hope that this will not be our only visit & hope to stay again next year ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Excellent service throughout, food was great and was catered for our dietary restrictions. All the managers were kind and helpful, i would also like to thank Parvinder Head Chef for Indian Restaurant for great Indian meal and looking after us and making sure the food was prepped properly, we cannot thank him enough at all, and the resort is very lucky to have such a person. Special mention to Hossam Manager for Indian and Thai Restaurant for looking after our needs and checking on us regularly. Chef Fekry for catering needs especially Lunch and breakfast times, always been very pleasant. Also special thanks to the Thai Chef for catering to our needs, food was amazing also. Head Chef Mohammed for ensuring food was catered for us and checking to make sure all was well. And thankyou to M.Samir reception manager who looked after us and was pleasant to deal with. In all enjoyed our stay very comfortably, and the resort was great, large and the services was great such as the SPA. The bar was great and the drinks were fine, and so were the cocktails. Only one recommendation i have, which most restaurants adhere to is the fact the : 1. labelling should be better on the foods in the general restaurant, ingredients should be displayed, simple. 2. Food tongues, or spoons, etc...should NOT be mixed and every food bowl etc...should have its own serving cutlery. This is to stop food cross contamination and also for those who follow dietary needs. We did notice that people were using the same spoon for example and choosing different salads, this is a NO go and should NOT be allowed. There should be a clear sign stating this.

Just returned from an amazing 8 nights at the Sunrise Arabian Hotel. We had a great time. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The food and drinks are very good. My husband loved the barbecue at the buffet.A la carte were a lovely touch, too. Lovely padded sunbeds, the pools are beautiful and warm. They have tiered grounds with different pools we loved the action pool with great music, so good. There are quiet pool, adult pool etc for those who prefer this. Entertainment was good . We especially loved going on the free trips on a Thursday & Sunday to a sister hotel, White Hills at Tal Avenue, amazing carnival followed by a really good show with singers, acrobats, dancers etc. Coach travel included. The hotel is in easy reach of Soho Square. Our room was large on the ground floor near the reception and pool, just perfect for us. I had earlier mailed the hotel ahead of time and we were grateful they were so accommodating. All staff were lovely and did their best, but the stand out staff for us were ; Osama who made sure we had everything we needed. Karim who kept our room so clean, and got us a mattress topper as my husband has a bad back. Akon and Reema from the animation, so friendly, happy lovely people who made our days more special and water aerobics more fun. Dina who looked after us in the Churchill bar and lobby always smiling. All in all a fabulous hotel with great standards, loved our stay, can definitely recommend.

This was our second stay at Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views, pristine pools, and a gorgeous private beach—but what truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff who make every moment special. From the very first day, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness, and it’s the amazing team here that made our stay unforgettable. There are so many people we’d love to personally thank: Walid at the beach was a friendly face we saw every single day. He always made time to chat, and on our last day, he even took my partner out snorkeling—an experience he’ll never forget! Abo Baker, also on the beach, made sure our sun loungers were always in the perfect spot. He and Walid were such a lovely pair and made our beach days extra special. Sherif, the lifeguard on the pier, was another crucial part of our stay. He even remembered us from our last visit, which meant so much to us. Mazes in the restaurant was incredibly polite and attentive, ensuring our dining experiences were nothing short of amazing. Hisham in the buffet truly went above and beyond—every morning, he remembered our drink orders without fail, making our breakfast feel extra special. Hany at the beach bar was a pleasure to talk to and, like Sherif, also remembered us from our previous visit—little details like this made us feel so valued as guests. Keshar was one of the most entertaining people we met, always making us laugh with his big personality. Such a genuinely kind and funny person to be around! And most importantly, we cannot thank Hamada enough. He was the heart and soul of our trip, making sure my partner’s birthday was celebrated in the most beautiful way—with decorations, a delicious cake, and even champagne. He really went above and beyond for us on this holiday, it this quality service makes a place feel like home; coming up to reception to see Hamada really made each day in the hotel better. He is truly one of the nicest people we have ever met, and after visiting twice now, we would genuinely consider him a lifelong friend. This resort is a paradise, but it’s the warmth, dedication, and kindness of the staff that make it extraordinary. Thank you to everyone at Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort for another perfect stay—we cannot wait to return!

Excellent hotel, entertainment staff was very accommodating. Would come again. I had nice drinks from here, the cocktails was nice. Fast service. Food was delicious. We liked the evening shows by the entertainment. We liked the morning activies like gym and stretching.

Lovely but needs some tweaks. Firstly the hotel is beautiful and well presented, from the smell when you walk into reception to the cleanliness of your room. Lovely but needs some tweaks. Firstly the hotel is beautiful and well presented, from the smell when you walk into reception to the cleanliness of your room. The gardens are faultless and very well maintained. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Accommodation= Great room was lovely and cleaned every day. Food= Buffet has lots of choices but for us buffet food is never hot enough and the same can be said here. Themed Restaurants= Booking is done via an app and you have to book around midnight the night before or maybe 2 x days before otherwise you won’t get availability for me this is fiddly and messy when a concierge could do it for you at Reception in minutes and pre book them all in one go ( Premier Le Reve in Hurghada do it this way and it works much better ) menus in restaurants should also be on an actual menu not getting you to scan a QR code on your phone, they do have them if you ask but they should be offered when you sit down. The food in the themed restaurants was very good, the Thai Greek and Indian were my favourites. The Italian down by the beach for us wasn’t good at all and during the day I never heard 1 x positive comment about the food, I ordered a pasta which was wet and cold my partner ordered what was meant to be a Ceaser Salad but lettuce and chicken alone do not make a Ceaser salad we left the food and simply walked out I even had to get my own drinks as the waiters where too busy on their mobile phones to pay attention. Sun bed and Pool Areas: Lovely locations around the hotel however the sunbeds and pads are very tired and need replacing as does the concrete floor around the adults only pool (where I resided during the day) the concrete is breaking up into tiny pieces and not only hurts to walk on but gets all over your towel. The bar by this pool was looked after by the same guy all week called Ehab and he is worthy of a mention as he never stops and was polite and never lets your glass get empty, great service from him. Be aware of you are not fond of walking or struggle with steps as this hotel isn’t for you as it’s built over 4-5 levels and it’s hard work in 32 degrees tackling them steps. Beach Area: was spotless and had a lovely vibe about it and the swimming off the pier was stunning. We got chatting to a man called Mohamed Kamel who was a manager within the hotel and I have to say the shear mention of his name moved things along as and when required. To his word he got us into a restaurant that was popular and always booked and also gave us a room extension for 2 x hours during the day we left so again another thumbs up for him as he was a man of his word and i admire that. Overall I would return to the hotel as it is lovely, I understand nowhere is perfect and hopefully my feed back can only help to tweak and finesse a few things. But a well done to the hotel and its staff is due. One final point which I’m sure the actual Hotel owners can have some input on is the actual airport itself. Sharm airport is THE WORST airport I’ve used in the world. Hours of queues to get in for departure, luggage belts not working chaos at check in, constant passport and bag checks by rude men and after all the checks etc etc they still missed bottles of water in my carry on bag which proves the checks do nothing ( I forgot I had them but was glad in a way as they want £6 for a 500ml bottle ). The airport was our worst experience of the holiday and would put us off returning to Sharm for this alone.

Had a wonderful week. Room was lovely plenty of room and facilities. Sayed cared for us keeping the mini fridge topped up and treating us daily with creative towel decorations. The hotel is very clean gardens are immaculate. We were able to visit a different themed restaurants each night without the usual 1 only visit you find in some hotels. Big shout out to Alise who helped sort out a couple of issues and Alaa who took care of our pool needs.

Just had a wonderful 2 weeks in the Sunrise Arabian.The hotel is spotless clean with beautiful gardens and surroundings. The staff were all polite and hard working. Special mention to Mohammed Maher , Ehab (waterfall) and Khalid (Thai) fantastic service . The food in the main buffet was really good with plenty of choice. The a,la,carte restaurants were fantastic our favourite the Thai. Lots of daytime and evening entertainment. Really can't fault anything as it was a just a brilliant vacation Thanks again all the brilliant staff. Already looking at a return visit

We stayed as a couple for one week. Having not visited Sharm for at least 10 years we were blown away by this resort, it was fabulous! Clean, well laid out , delicious food and the staff were amazingly helpful. From the lifeguards, towel guys, waiters and housekeeping we were looked after like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble. We came home feeling super relaxed and recharged. Thank you all for giving us the best week in the sun. Like earlier reviews the sad ending was the treatment and chaos that was Sharm airport. Rude impatient staff, aggressive pat downs and dirty toilets. They give Egypt a bad name after all the lovely hospitality we had at the Sunrise Arabian.

Went for a week March 2025, the best hospitality i have ever experienced. ALL staff could not do enough for us and always available to help always went above and beyond. Very clean hotel! Me and my wife are both vegetarian, i spoke with chef Parvindar who made fresh food for us every day and was absolutely delicious and spot on everyday. Parvindar made our stay very memorable and would definitely go back to visit this hotel. Also chef Hamed was an absolute pleasure to meet…ask for these chefs if you go too visit. thank you to everyone at the hotel

Great service and beautiful and clean resort. Staff are really friendly, especially Reema, Sasha, Yana and Akon. The buffet food is not amazing especially at breakfast. However the evening meals do have some nice dishes if you’re not a picky eater. The restaurants that you have to reserve are quite difficult to get into as they were fully booked at the time we went, we did however get into the Indian which was lovely and by far the nicest food we ate at the resort. The rooms are specious and clean the aircon is lovely especially after a really hot day.

We have been to many holidays to many places. This is the best holiday, we ever had. Firstly like to say big thank you all lovely staffs from reception to house keeper Mr. Sayed. All the resort staffs are very polite, always very helpful, very approachable, smile and charm. We only managed to book the Manohar (Indian) and Thai restaurants. Restaurant food are very delicious. I request here the resort management to over look this booking system. I heard, booking only open at midnight. The room was nicely clean and a well stocked mini bar on a daily basis. The housekeeper Syead looked after us well. Main, Swimming pool and beach bar staffs does amazing cocktails and we enjoyed very much. We have spend quit a lot of time at beach for Snorkeling. It was a very great fun to us. In all enjoyed our stay very comfortably, the resort was great, excellent service throughout, food was great. We love to visit again in the future. We will be recommending this Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort to our friends and family.

We booked the Posh club with Eastjet. The junior suite was large, clean with a garden onto the Posh club pool. Wardy was acceptional, arranging our restaurant booking, washing and golf cart lifts around the site. The evening entertainment was hit and miss. I did attend a morning stretch class by the beach which was good. I would definitely return, if your looking for great food, service and a relaxing week this place is ideal. Book the Posh club though, worth the premium for decent drinks and Club house.

We have been to Sunrise resorts in Hurghada but first time to this one We were slightly surprised by how tiered the resort was and from our room it was 100 steps to the restaurants and bars, so if you have a mobility issue then be careful. They have resort buses though The food overall is good. We used the Italian Basilica most days for lunch which was very good. The buffet restaurant is substantially smaller than we were expecting and not as much choice as Royal Makadi but the A La Carte were pretty good, except Poseidon Greek restaurant which was poor, with tasteless meals and not very Greek at all. If it was I I would swap the themed restaurants Poseidon and Waterfall about and then serve grilled meats where as currently the Greek is inside the building so probably can’t grill much, as it stands it suffers from Not having proper Greek food Our room was lovely and we had a swim up pool that was well used Overall it’s great value for money and we love Egypt.

First time at the Sunrise resort and we loved it. Been many times to Egypt over the years but would definitely go back to the Sunrise Arabian resort in Sharm. Stayed in the Posh Club at the front of the resort. Staff are excellent! Helpful and extremely hard working. The hotel is extremely clean and beautifully kept, constantly cleaned throughout the day. The pools are heated to 29-30 degrees not too hot and not too cold. Food in the restaurants really good. Everything freshly cooked. We would like to say a special thank you to Ahmed for a perfectly clean room, Mostafa for helping us to get late check out. Wardy for all his help with anything we needed. Patricia for her hard work and perfect smile. Yousif for his hospitality and drinks and Momen for keeping the pool so clean and extremely helpful with plenty of towels and sunshades. A truly satisfying 10 day stay to relax and recharge. This hotel sets the bar so high that the rest of Egypt can’t keep up to their standards. We were in the hotel’s Egyptian bubble. General The staff are amazing. They can never do enough for their guests, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is extremely clean and there are staff working most of the time. Rooms We stayed in the “basic” room i.e. no upgrade but the room was far from basic. Very comfortable and very clean. Food The food is gorgeous. The restaurants were lovely & felt like you were dining in a separate restaurant to the hotel. The buffet food was all fresh just like the restaurants and we never got bored of the food. The best food we have had in a hotel buffet (we have stayed in a lot of hotels) as we usually crave home food after a while, but this wasn’t the case in this hotel. We do not have a bad word to say about the hotel.
