Southwest Inn at Sedona

Staff wonderful, room just the right size, nice views, dog friendly. We liked things so much we booked an extra night and plan to return over Christmas. The breakfast buffet was also excellent in terms of variety and service. Convenient to several great hikes as well.

A nice stay at Southwest Inn at Sedona. Stayed 1 week for a more central location for what we wanted to see. 89a is a wonderful drive either north or south. Breakfast was good, parking good. Nice pool. Location in West Sedona, slower pace then Uptown. Nice view from balcony...

Nice hotel but does not look like the photo. Staff nice. Melissa was working breakfast area and then the front desk. She was helpful in many ways! Chris was a great guy and went out of his way to make our visit good. Our room was nice and comfy.(no elevators)...

Our room was nice and comfy.(no elevators) So while we were very happy with a beautiful view, we had to lug our suitcases up and down. When sitting on porch area, you can hear everything your neighbors were saying and their smoking was stinky and rude, so we did not sit out for long. This Inn is on the South end of town. Plenty of choices to eat and 2 grocery stores near by. Green Lime Tours picked us up in the parking lot. This place is also close to the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park.(Buddhist Temple).

Gorgeous view and room had a beautiful southwest decorated with a fireplace. The location was great and the room was very clean. I recommend asking for a second floor with Mountain View. We were so happy we chose this place for or last stop In Arizona

The hotel accommodations were lovely. Even though the hotel was on the main road, it faced the beautiful red rock mountains. Our room was very roomy and the bed and extra pillows I requested were very comfortable. Breakfast was just adequate but convenient to have on site. There was a great pizza place and bakery right outside our hotel which was delicious. Chris at the front desk was very nice and helpful, it was a great stay here and close to everything including hiking in Sedona and shopping & eating in uptown Sedona.

Liked the 2nd floor room/suite which included a gas fireplace and master bedroom plus another room with a pull-out couch bed. The view of the surrounding mountains and hills was terrific. BUT.... the inn is located on a very busy road so if your room is not towards the back...

Liked the 2nd floor room/suite which included a gas fireplace and master bedroom plus another room with a pull-out couch bed. The view of the surrounding mountains and hills was terrific. BUT.... the inn is located on a very busy road so if your room is not towards the back of the inn expect plenty of traffic noise. And they could do a bit better job of maintaining the rooms as well. We had several burned out bulbs and the heater/AC units kept going on and off every minute or so even when they were turned off. Price we paid was OK. Glad the place is in West Sedona versus Uptown Sedona which from my observations is a crowded, noisy, traffic congested mess even in February. There were several good restaurants and grocery stores nearby and the location is conveniently situated near trails and other attractions. Oh and the offer breakfast each morning.

The room is comfortable but noisy. The Highway is right beside the hotel The staff at check in was snooty. Our early checkin for 1pm was confirmed but we had to wait until 3pm in the parking lot. Then we found out our room was actually ready at 1pm but...

The room is comfortable but noisy. The Highway is right beside the hotel The staff at check in was snooty. Our early checkin for 1pm was confirmed but we had to wait until 3pm in the parking lot. Then we found out our room was actually ready at 1pm but Ms Snooty at the front desk never bothered to check. The mountain view is a gross exaggeration. You can see a mountain if you stand on one leg and squint. Won’t be coming back.
