Ski Inn Anchorage

The pillows and sheets were very soft and the continental breakfast provided was excellent. Fresh bagels, fresh brewed coffee with yogurts and fresh fruit. Every morning, coffee was ready to start and everything was refilled. The common area was comfortable and we met some amazing guests.

We stayed in the Glacier View apartment for a quick 1 night trip - we wish we could have stayed longer! The apartment was clean and super cute. Modern and updated, but still charming. Amazing views from the shower window! The sitting area was great and also had some awesome views. We were in Anchorage the prior week for work, so having the washer/dryer great. Several restaurants a step away. We had coffee and bagels in the morning after check out at the food stand next door. We drove to Gridwood brewing the night before, but would have been an easy walk as well. Would absolutely stay here if visiting Gridwood again.

Great Inn in Girdwood. Very comfortable apartment with a separate TV/sitting room. The laundry facilities were perfect. Plenty of room for a family. Note, there were no stairs up to the 3rd floor apartment. Parking in front. Nice hike/walk up to Alyeska Resort

Ski Inn is lovely and cozy. Truly is a home away from home. Comfortable, quiet and clean. Adorable sitting area with nice amenities. Was very nice meeting and chatting with the other guest at the Inn. We enjoyed our one night at the Inn and in Girdwood.

The room was clean, the bed was nice (but small for two adults) and the pillows were nice. I'd stay here again but for me more than one night and the quirky/fun nature of the place would matter less and a chair in the room would matter more.

We had room #4 the Inlet room. View was gorgeous. Room was well lit, had plentiful windows, fluffy towels, comfy bed, and adequate number of outlets for charging. Up to date interior. Wish we had more storage space. Just hubby and I. We had to store luggage upright next to the wall to avoid blocking the room’s walking path. Clothing or other items had to be stacked on the top of luggage. Room had a bedside table. We also used the top of the fridge as a lay-down area. Any access to luggage had to be done on top of bed. Hubby got a hot shower, mine cooled before I finished.

Clean and overall comfortable. Loved having so many complimentary snacks and coffee downstairs, and the digital locks make check-in very easy. We had the south facing room, which I believe is the smallest on the property - for two of us it was quite cramped with our luggage in, but...

We had the south facing room, which I believe is the smallest on the property - for two of us it was quite cramped with our luggage in, but we only stayed one night so it was fine for the time being. Our room also got a bit too warm, but the provided fan helped. Didn't mind the shared bathroom as it was kept clean, but just a note that the shower in there is quite cramped as well.

We really loved our stay here. Very nice, comfortable, well located, easy, updated, affordable! Would stay again! We stayed one night in the: Deluxe Room, 1 Queen Bed, Private Bathroom, Mountain View (Pet Friendly) - the Ski view room If you want a quiet room With bath choose this as it is in the front just down a few stairs and away from other rooms Some key information: Rooms have a small refrigerator, TV, soap/shampoo, hairdryer Pay attention to your email for instructions on getting into your room. No staff on site but no problem if you just follow the step by step detailed instructions. There is some breakfast and coffee and drinks in the lobby area, which is also a nice sitting area to relax. Breakfast includes things like bagels you can toast and fruit, yogurt, and some other grab and go items. Also some snacks and some bottled waters and canned drinks. Really nice amenities as most places in Alaska do not even have breakfast. And this is great if you want to leave early and have a little something to eat before other places open. Restaurants walkable and also a little store with groceries next door. We ate at Spoonline across street very good! And did not need a reservation on a Monday night (other places closed on Mondays) Oh and there IS parking free in front park diagonal read the email they send. It is limited but available and there is also street parking free. Make sure to walk up to the bridge and across for a great view also

Breakfast was provided (bagels, yogurt, oatmeal) juice and coffee in a roomy common area.

This is more of an upscale youth hostel than an inn. We never got an email with self service check in directions. The manager was less than helpful when we called. Fortunately the extremely friendly gardener was able to help us get into our room. We never once saw a staff member during our stay. The room was extremely small. Breakfast consisted of a few bagels. We would not recommend this place to anyone.

This property said to observe strict quiet hours and to be respectful of other guests from 10-8. We expected a quiet night’s rest. Ironically it sits right next door to a pub with live music (there was a festival that weekend, but it had ended) till 3:30 am and then at least a dozen very loud partiers outside of our window for two more hours - well after 5:30. The thermostat was set at 77 but we couldn’t open the window due to all the noise. If you enjoy sharing a bathroom then upstairs would be for you. We believe there were private restrooms downstairs. If you enjoy partying till late then this might work for you, just keep in mind you may need a designated room dialer to punch In your 7 digit code. If you get locked out twice, they will charge you 30.00. We did enjoy the good breakfast, snacks, comfy lounge and nice rates.
