We have been holidaying in Egypt for many years and stayed in both Sharm ,Hurghada and Marsa . But we can honestly say this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in. From start to finish we we made so welcome and well looked after . The hotel and grounds were spotless. The food was excellent and the drinks actually tasted good unlike the rock fuel we have had in some of the other hotels we stayed at. This hotels and its staff will be hard to beat….

We had hoped for a more positive experience this time compared to our stay at Seagate. Unfortunately, the service was slower than we expected, and the staff seemed a bit downcast. Initially, I thought it might have been due to Ramadan, but when we visited Seagate for an evening out, the atmosphere felt completely different. The staff there were more lively, and it was a refreshing change. I truly hope that the team at our recent stay finds ways to uplift their spirits for future guests.

Visited the Rixos hotel last year. The food and service all round was great. I really enjoyed my trip here. Just be careful with the shisha. I don’t think they clean it properly or they add something different. Made me a bit sick, just be careful,

My husband and I have just returned from a weeks stay. The hotel is of a very high standard , beautiful manicured grounds, clean and immaculate. The rooms are spacious, clean with an open balcony and coffe and tea making facilities. There is knightly entertainment with very talented DJ, singers and dancers. There is also the availability to take a buggy from this hotel to Rixos sea gate and enjoy their facilities. Special Thanks to Mustafa head waiter who greats you from breakfast to dinner with a smile and charm and can’t do enough to make your dining experience seamless. My special thanks to head chef Ahmed who guided me through the foods I could or couldn’t eat and arranged for meals to be brought to me to avoid cross contamination ( I have coeliac disease) he couldn’t do enough for me and I felt safe without any fear of being unwell. All the staff throughout the whole hotel are a delight. Rixos sharm - your staff are amazing people. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay.

We arrived in December, went to lobby for drinks, if your sat in the wrong seat they won’t serve you( never had this b4 in egyot). Asked for branded drinks, and got local drinks. After complaining a lot, they soon managed to get the correct drink. Lobby bar staff miserable....

We arrived in December, went to lobby for drinks, if your sat in the wrong seat they won’t serve you( never had this b4 in egyot). Asked for branded drinks, and got local drinks. After complaining a lot, they soon managed to get the correct drink. Lobby bar staff miserable. One heated pool, crammed like sardines around it. Lots of other cold pools. Water activity advertised, but didn’t happen as pools too cold. Food was lovely. Evening entertainment like an Ibiza party, booming music every night, or bored listening to a saxophonist in the lobby. Nothing in between like a singer. Considering the price of this hotel I would expect more than one heated pool, and branded drinks that I paid for. The entertainment is suited to young party people, I assume the older guests go to bed early. If your room is anywhere near the entertainment, I doubt you would get much sleep. We enjoyed our holiday, but wouldn’t rush to return.

Just been to the Brazilian Restaurant! Service & food 10/10 Hamy even found a bottle of my preferred Rose! Thank you all for your amazing service & always with a smile x) we back here second time in February 2025 and we are very happy! Everything it is amazing! We enjoy!!

Currently staying at Rixos Sharm still amazing will be returning even though our trip is not finished. Had an amazing curry at Taj Mahal so fresh and perfectly spiced for us. Amazing staff and food and spotlessly clean grounds. Cant wait to return x

😊❤️😊❤️😊❤️😊 We came back a couple of weeks ago after a 3 week stay. It was our 5th time staying here and we have already booked for 3 weeks in January 2026. Everything is clean and tidy including our room. The a la carte restaurants food is superb. But what made our stay special is the staff. Mo Ali at the lagoon bar, always greeted us and remembered what we drank round the pool each day (good cocktails) and Mohamed Metwaly the pool chef was friendly and aways said hello. Ali Baba the buggy driver again was so friendly, he went out of his way to pick us up and chatted with a friendly smile while on route he even waved to me each time he passed my room terrace. Little Mohamed in Italian restaurant was a friendly first class waiter. Eslam Lotfy the toilet cleaner in old reception always greeted us when we arrived and asked how our day had been. Nourham Reda (Smiler) knew the drinks we liked to have and again asked how our day had been as did Michelle in main reception bar. Can't wait to go back next year. Only one slight moan is that it would be nice to go to the beach bar to watch sunset without loud music ( maybe alternate every other night) as when we went the first 3 times it was my favourite part of the day and not everyone wants loud music all the time. I can't thank the staff enough for making everyone's holiday extra special.

We had an amazing time at Rixos. The staff was very friendly and the speciality restaurants were delicious. Good snorkling location and nice trips. Great entertainment and great shows. We will definitely come back !! Beautiful memories.

This is at least my tenth time at the hotel, I have no doubt that this is the best hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, the service, the staff, the food, everything is above all criticism, you can rate everything at 100/10 One of the special things in the hotel is the Turkish restaurant, which I eat there at least twice every time I come to the hotel. The head chef invests in the food and all the details in the restaurant. It is undoubtedly the best restaurant in the hotel, I have huge respect for him and all the special staff, especially for waiter Yihya, who always shows us what good and professional service is.

This is the third time we have been at this hotel in the last 15 months. The service is excellent! The entertainment is brilliant! There are plenty of restaurants to eat at. Great for anyone who is coeliac - plenty of choice. Can’t recommend high enough.

We returned to Sharm after a ten year hiatus (i got very very sick at a different hotel which had put me off returning). I had read lots of reviews & was a little skeptical going into it but i was wrong. Upon arrival we were checked in & were offered a deal to upgrade to a suite for a reduced fee. Yes please :) We were in block 18, room 18104. The room was spotless, spacious & throughout our whole stay was looked after very well. There was only one day when we returned to the room to find it not cleaned. A simple message to housekeeping & they were at the door within 15mins. It turns out there had been a changeover in staff member & when he arrived he asked what time suited us best & from that moment on our room was always done on time. Absolutely fantastic service! Food i was most nervous about after getting food poisoning at another hotel in Egypt. I had absolutely no reason at all to be wary as the standards at Rixos were superior. We ate everything & anything without any illness. I loved the Turkish influence on all of the food. We ate like kings & queens every night! We only made it to breakfast once or twice. To be honest, it wasnt my favorite but we are not big breakfast people. Lunch & dinner at the buffet could not be faulted. The food options were plentiful & the staff were always there to get your drinks, find you a table etc. Every staff member we encountered in the buffet always had a smile. For the Ala Cartes - The Turkish was top class. The food took me right back to when i lived in Turkey. The Brazilian was really good. Some of the meats were a little bloody for my liking but overall we both enjoyed it. The Asian was also very good (although i wish the spicy beef was lacking any sort of spice!) The Italian was our least favorite. Its no reflection on the hotel, i just find the majority of Italian ala cartes across the world don't really do Italian food justice. My husband had the beef pepperoni style pizza & the meat was cut so thick it was chewy. I ordered the steak & it was a little tough. We still ate the meal & people should give it a go but it was just out least favorite out of the others we tried. We did not go to Salt as night as we do not eat seafood & it was hard to get a reservation at the Mangal. I did visit the spa on our first day for a hot stone massage. Ani was my therapist & she was fabulous! People from Bali really do give the best massages! The disappointment from the spa was 2 things: 1- It was not split male/female so when using the steam rooms/sauna/jacuzzi i felt very intimated as the only female there surrounded by big burly Russian men. I was not comfortable using the jacuzzi. 2- Whilst the treatment room was nice i was disturbed by the loud men congregating downstairs shouting & laughing. When i was finished my treatment & in the 'relaxation' area they were all sat outside that area & the noise was even louder. Spa's are a place of relaxation. Loud groups of people should not be allowed to congregate. Sadly because of this i did not return to the spa. We spent most of our time at the Palm Pool by the buffet restaurant. It was nice & peaceful & the lifeguard was fantastic at getting your sunbeds set up. We did also have drinks service around the pool too which was nice. Sadly it was rather windy when we were there so the pier was often closed for snorkeling. We did hop on the shuttle to Seagate to snorkel on their reef as more often than not their pier was open when ours was shut. We actually preferred the reed at Seagate over our pier. It was great to be able to use both. (although glad we picked adults only as that hotel was full of children everywhere!) The shuttle driver between Rixos Sharm & Seagate & the Rixos Sharm internal shuttle drivers were all really friendly. It was great being able to whizz around the resort! We did not watch any nighttime entertainment as it's not our cup of tea. There were however two nights during our stay where it felt like we were standing on stage with the DJs! 2 out of our 10 nights the entertainment was on the beach stage. I have no idea why the entertainment needs to be so loud!! It went on to 1am. We were aware of this when we selected our room so were prepared however if you are light sleepers & dont plan on going to the entertainment then please be advised any rooms around either of the stages it is so unnecessarily loud & it doesn't stop until 1am. I don't know why it had to be so loud? We were in our room one day when it was the 1630 DJ at the beach & we didnt hear a thing! Surely the nighttime entertainment volume could be lowered? It is the only negative we have from the entire stay. Every single staff member we encountered was fantastic. I can't name them all as i would be here all day! If you have had a bad experience with Egypt before & are worried about returning then please do not hesitate to book Rixos Sharm. It has completely restored my faith in holidays to Sharm El Sheikh! We shall return!

We went on the 14 th December- 29 th For the 5 th time but first time for Christmas and my birthday, it was amazing. The atmosphere was buzzing the food was out of this world. Hot tasty . The entertainment was great and very lively the shows in the evening with spectacular we were lucky enough to go over to Seagate to snorkel and to have food in restaurants the staff in both of the hotels are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. This is from all levels from the cleaners housekeeping gardeners, chefs and waiting staff and of course the management team front of house team are the first people you might contact with and they are very accommodating . Iv been to lots of place but still keep going back to Rixos as we know what we are going to get . Going back in June for the 6 th time , be a bit warmer then December.

Currently coming to end of our 5th visit and already looking forward to coming back in 8 weeks time. From the second you walk through those impressive glass doors into the stunning reception area you are made to feel like royalty, like their whole world revolves around you and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious & bright with everything you could possibly need & more. We love to spend our days around the Oasis pool. As soon as the pool staff see you they’re there to find you a sunbed in the perfect spot and ensure that you are looked after every minute of the day. When it comes to food & drinks you really are spoilt for choice & in all our stays we have never had a bad meal. Our personal favourite is the Mangel grill but every restaurant is amazing and the service is incredible. Every staff member from the cleaners, maintenance workers, pool staff, buggy drivers, bar & restaurant staff to managers are all attentive, friendly & accommodating. They make Rixos feel like a home from home and keep us coming back. We can’t thank them enough for making our holidays so very special.

This is our first visit to Rixos Sharm, and it won’t be our last. The quality of the food and facilities (I think there are 7 pools, lost count after 5) are just excellent. The biggest asset of this hotel is its staff, in particular the staff around the Oasis pool, a special thanks go to Mohamed Hakem, Shaban Fawsy, the waiters on Rollerblades (Michael)who make sure you are fed and watered. These guys go above and beyond to make sure the guests are comfortable. We have stayed at The Excellence hotels in Mexico and we didn’t think they could be beaten…. This hotel is by far the best. We came in March with my wife and had another great experience at the hotel. I would like to say a special thanks to Mohamed Yasser and Mohamed Ramadan for making our stay very special. See you all again soon

Currently staying at this hotel and unfortunately I’m really disappointed. I was really looking forward to this holiday especially after all the reviews, but I wouldn’t come back here and definitely won’t be recommending this to anyone. My biggest issue is the service and the restaurant booking system. From other reviews many say the service is exceptional, however I have found the service really disappointing and wasn’t what I was expecting. The QR booking system has been down for majority of the holiday, I’m usually up till late so knowing I could book the restaurants after midnight would have worked well for me, but as this is down I’ve had to go to guest relations and unless you get there first thing the better restaurants have been taken. I was only bothered about eating at the Brazilian, I have 3 evenings left of my holiday, 2 of which it is closed and the 1 left is now fully booked. Couldn’t book first thing as we were up early and out for a trip. When we came back and asked about the Brazilian and once again it was full and that’d it now for the remainder of the holiday, was basically told book another holiday and go to the restaurant then. This response is really quite arrogant and not what I expected from guest relations. I would never book this hotel again. We’ve paid for an all inclusive but I’m going to have to go out for tea yet again as the other restaurants aren’t really what we want to eat. You also get told you can use Seagate facilities including the restaurants, you’ve paid for 1 but you get 2 hotels. This isn’t true if the booking system is down. Again, this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, surely if the booking system is down have a back up, maybe use a phone? Just seems really poor, all you get is a shrug of the shoulders when you ask. Will never come back to this hotel, and really left quite frustrated for the remainder of our holiday.

Thank you to everyone, first of all we thank deeply and gratefully the best, Mr. MOKHTAR ASIM who welcomed us with attention and genuine kindness and who provided us with the necessary information for the first time, and even in German. Excellent, we felt at home! Hats off to Mr. MOKHTAR! Day after day his warm behavior made us feel truly appreciated guests. If you come to Rixos definately book the a la catre Gusto restaurant Achmed and Marie were wonderful servers very attentive and the food was just devine. Will be top of our list next time we come here. not to be missed when visiting the Rixos Hotel

Amazing hotel, good atmosphere, very spacious room. We also went scuba diving, had a photoshoot, went buggy-driving… Very good restaurants: my favorite: the mangal. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Overall; amazing experience.

Norhan was extremely helpful, went out of her way to arrange change of room to a quieter area and with an upgrade. She continuously checked we were content and happy during our stay. Chef Yogesh Sarwant adapted menus and offered vegetarian options off the menu. His motto "nothing is too much effort" sums up his passion and commitment to please. We had an outstanding experience at the Asian restaurant where a tasty tofu meal was prepared. We are spoilt with great restaurants in London but the quality and flavours were created with care and amazing. Evening entertainment was communicated by phone. This was spectacular and better than anything we have seen on our travels. Dancers and entertainers were talented professionals with precision choreography. Shout out to Aladin who is always cheery, helpful and jovial- this man deserves a big bonus as he went above and beyond. Buggy service was great and grounds clean and well kept. We really appreciate the exceptional service, in particular from Norhan and Chef Yogesh; this more than lived up to the finest standard expected from Rixos. We'll be back and will highly recommend this hotel to others. Original review: We regularly stay at adults only hotels but this is the only one where the music has been unbearably loud until late. Online the bars say music until midnight but this regularly goes beyond this time. As a vegetarian struggled as not all the salads were marked up clearly. Mains options for vegetarian were lacking and an after thought.

We are just back from a fortnight at Rixos Sharm. We were in room 3120, which was very convenient for reception, lobby bar and heated pool. Very comfortable. We had no difficulty booking all the a la carte restaurants, our favourite once again being the Asian , especially their desserts. We went to guest relations, who were very helpful and booked the French and People's restaurants in Seagate, which were included in the all inclusive. Both were lovely and worth getting the buggy along to Seagate. Salt at lunchtime is lovely with a good menu. Ice cream and waffle/pastries shop next to Salt is very popular, but worth queueing for. We spent a couple of days by the pools in Seagate, which were more relaxing than at adults only. Too windy to snorkel off jetty whilst we were there. We found the staff in Seagate more friendly than at adults only, especially the bar staff. Drinks in Seagate much better. If we were to return to Sharm again, we would pick Seagate instead of Adults only.
