My husband and I have just got back from a week long stay at the Renaissance. We had a fabulous time, and very much enjoyed the hotel and the way it was run. The staff at the restaurant, bars, beach and pool were great. They were very attentive without being too intrusive. Particular mention here to Robin at the pool and his glasses cleaning skills!

Great time of year to visit if you want a peaceful holiday. The hotel is set in some wonderful grounds so that you can always find different places to relax. Rooms were clean and well equipped, with room service attending every day. Good food and displayed really well, loved meeting the head chef who was always ready to please and give that extra service, made and served wonderful pasta ! Ramy the bartender made everyone welcome and enjoyed getting involved with jokes and generally helping people to have a good time. Time spent in the spa was generally very good but feel extra training and an upgrade of décor/facilities in the nail salon is required. The pool man at the main pool who also arranged the towels, was really friendly and he went out of his way to settle us on our sunbeds each day. Overall a really nice relaxing week.

Just amazing, thank you for making us feel so welcome upon arrival and for upgrading us, the sea view was beautiful (are Marriott BonVoy Titanium members, recommend joining to get great upgrades and more). The resort is very hilly but they have regular golf buggies to take you from place to place. We did not join in but the entertainment staff were super energetic and lots of people did join in the various activities that looked fun. They have a nice little gym, everything you need for a good workout, including gym instructors on hand to give advice if needed. Indoor pool and sauna was fab, always very quiet with tranquil music playing. We were all inclusive, food was good, plenty of variety. I am Coeliac and the restaurant manager brought the head chef to meet me as they wanted to know what foods I would prefer, they made every effort to ensure I had plenty of variety during our 2 week stay. This hotel is a little tired in places but I give it 5 stars because its staff are amazing, room view was outstanding, facilities were good, food was good and we would definitely return to this hotel.

Amazing hotel good staff friendly service food is very tasty the hotel is so cleaning and friendly animations team I liked them stretching and zomba danc and aqua gym and I love the shows every day they are so funny I hope that someday I will come back here again ❤️😊😊

Had a fabulous winter break at this resort. We stayed in a junior suite which was cleaned and maintained daily by Mohammed our room boy who treated us to the most stunning bed art collages you've ever seen. Generally the whole resort was fantastic and it would take too long to mention all the names of recipients who deserve a special mention, but to list a few Ahmed and Fatimah in the 'Lobby Bar' superb service with attention to details. Gamal in La Casa Italian Restaurant who funny , polite extremely efficient. Lifeguards Rawben and Ahmed at the Aqua Pool and bar kept the whole area spotlessly clean and attended to our every need. They were so friendly and helpful making us feel very welcome. Being fortunate enough to book a Planet Spa massage package I must commend Anwar for his 'non-pushy' sales approach and the wonderful Arbeer for her massage expertise in relieving my back issues. Restaurant food was good but I felt that the 'theme night' dinners could be a bit more authentic. Egyptuian night was staged outside and in February it was quite cold sitting out and food going cold (not a fan of this). Resort overall was a great place to go, kept immaculately clean in all areas - including the spa. Would love to come back someday - thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Hotel room was clean and cool and bed was comfortable and huge. Would visit again. Special mentions to outstanding staff: Rawben and Ahmed lifeguards at Aqua pool, Ahmed in the lobby bar, Mohammed Wafy at Aqua bar and the other Mohammed at Aqua and beach bar These staff truly made our trip 5 star service

Excellent food, stunning views across the Red Sea, and set in beautiful grounds with picturesque walkways linking the accommodation units sloping from the main building down to the seafront. The slopes do mean quite a few flights of steps to negotiate when going to the main restaurant or down to the beach, but they will send a golf cart/buggy to transport you if you need one! Best of all though were the staff. Whether in the restaurants, reception, bars, or room valeting, everyone was happy to help in any way they could and nothing was too much trouble. Special mentions to... Ahmed - Lifeguard & Pool Attendant at the Rotunda Pool Mustafa and Mohammed - Waiters at the Beach Bar Mahmoud - Room Valet for our block (7402) A couple of minor points that could be improved on in a 5* hotel... Shower hats in the rooms Toiletries rather than wall dispensers in the shower

We enjoyed many aspects of the hotel. The heated outdoor swimming pool was a boon. The seaside location too. The accommodation was fine , clean and comfortable. Good Wifi coverage. All the staff could not do more to be helpful and were very polite and only too please to go out of their way to assist. For example, around the pools, in the bars, room cleaning, in the restaurant . The animation team work hard in the daytime and with evening entertainment to capture and hold the interest of their guests. The hotel is on lots of levels with stairs which may challenge some people, although I think it adds to its charm. But even here the staff do all they can to help like organising an electric buggy to get you from say the hotel down to or up from the beach. The bars are comfortable and the all inclusive system for us worked well. The food in the restaurant was plentiful but for me there could have been a wider choice. The biggest issue for me was that the buffet hot food was never hot enough and I had to ask for my plate to enter the microwave. The restaurant management were vey responsive to criticisms and did go out of their way to resolve my issues of hot food. Lots of cakes and fruit on offer but very limited other deserts and rarely cheese. ( cheese only at breakfast) The two al a carte restaurants were good and well worth a visit. All in all staying here is a worthwhile experience , safe, secure, friendly, and not withstanding my food comments I am sure for most people the food is fine. points: 1 install a customer user microwave in the restaurant 2 Have cheese available at all mealtimes as an alternative to sweets and cake and fruit. Ramay at the Beach bar went above and beyond what was expected. He kept us going with drinks throughout the day. Mahmoud the towel man on the beach was so helpful. Helping me to move my bed. Ahmed the lifeguard was also very helpful. We were there at Ramadan and he explained all aspects of it. All staff had time to chat to you and you learnt a little of their life. The Calamara restaurant did lovely snacks through the day. Meals inThe evening were lovely. The Italian restaurant meal was equally as good. Graham and Patricia England

Staff were exceptional, especially Ramy at the rotunda. Facilities were good, nice pool and the jetty was perfect for some basic snorkelling however I also chose to go scuba diving, Julia and the team did a great job and I managed two lovely dives despite tricky weather. We were on all inclusive and the drinks were great, if not very strong, however the food was really mediocre - we were only there for three nights so could only use the main restaurant where food was bland. Such a shame but in an all inclusive stay food is such a key part of it, hence the three star review.

Robin is truly a wonderful person — kind, thoughtful, and always pleasant to be around. They bring a positive energy into every situation and make people feel comfortable and valued. Whether in conversation or collaboration, Robin consistently leaves a great impression.

Had a great two weeks in Sharm at the Renaissance Golden View. The rooms were first class, the food was good, especially in the Italian restaurant which stood out above the rest. The Calamari was our daily lunch stop and the staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional. Remy in the lounge bar and then beach bar was a stand out employee and Nada in the restaurant was so helpful and friendly. Mohamed in reception was also an asset to the hotel. The animations staff worked hard and went the extra mile, but unfortunately the general standard of entertainment wasn't great. The evening entertainment lasted about 20 minutes and pretty much the usual Sharm standard, however, the hotel missed some easy wins like a pianist or a guitarist to provide background music in the restaurants or pad out the evenings entertainment. Blasting out really irritating children's music at 1900 whilst people were eating was an own goal, especially as there were no children there to be entertained. Maybe I've been on too many cruises or maybe the thin entertainment was because it was low season. All in all though, a great hotel

Superb Hotel! Very good service, especially the beach bar and Rotunda with Ramy, Nada and Team ☺️👌 The scuba diving is very good, also the diving school with Alessandro and team is perfect! We will definitely come back for diving and relaxing.
