Queen Victoria hotel. Cape may. Easy simple check in with thirty minute parking next door to unload and unload your car. They give you a map showing parking or use the church parking lot next door for small donation. Church parking is well worth the money. $60 for three days and they will save your spot should you drive somewhere. We opted for Uber anyway and left car where it was. Rooms are beautifully appointed with four poster bed. Fridge in bathroom. Safe in closet. HOT water shower and bath. Good pressure. Air conditioning was a welcome sight. High tea was nice with a few crackers and cheese spread and some sweets. Was self serve. Breakfast is also self’s serve and you can sit outside or in weather dependent. Baked and eggs and cheese casserole one day and stuffed French toast on day two. This is not your normal big chain breakfast. Very good. Fresh fruit is always out as well as bread for toast. Rocking chairs for an evening of relaxing and people watching. Very enjoyable stay. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to serve and answer any questions. Outside doors are locked by key code and password is given at check in.

MY BDAY FALLS ON MEMORIAL Day weekend. My spouse and I hate crowds so we book a week in advance of the big opening weekend. It never fails to be tranquil and peaceful; exactly what I am after. We can mingle with the lovely staff and other couples or just have much needed quiet time, my favorite place in the World! Our little slice of heaven. We drive up no airplanes, no fuss no muss . Easy to relax. Our third stay coming up may 2025. Making traditions and memories.

This is a wonderful B&B. They offer afternoon tea, a great breakfast, free bottled water & soft drinks, & free bikes. All the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The only thing we would change is to add either tea sandwiches or scones to the afternoon tea, currently it’s crackers...

This is a wonderful B&B. They offer afternoon tea, a great breakfast, free bottled water & soft drinks, & free bikes. All the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The only thing we would change is to add either tea sandwiches or scones to the afternoon tea, currently it’s crackers and sweets. Also be aware there is only metered parking near the B&B. We parked about a 5 minute walk to get a non-metered space.

We stayed in the Windsor room I was a good room. The only draw back is it's on the third floor and there is no elevator, a little difficult to carry the luggage. On the plus side the staff was great and very helpful. Breakfast was good and a pretty nice verity. Hotels has three different buildings and in a great location. Two block to the beach and two block to the Washington mall.

We just enjoyed another stay at the Queen. The staff, Jaime, Ashley, Monica, and everyone else, are all friendly, helpful, and make you feel welcome. Facility is clean and well kept as always. The location is great as you can walk to so much... restaurants, Washington Mall, beach, beautiful neighborhood....

Our stay was over New Year’s weekend. We were in the 2nd floor Princess Victoria room in the House of Royals building. We had a great experience here, from accommodations to lovely staff and everything in between. Our room was spacious with a super comfortable bed and pillows, and had a great balcony with rockers — though it was too chilly to enjoy them in this season. But what a treat that spot would be in warmer weather! We opened the roller shades and enjoyed having the room bathed in light, thanks to the double height windows. I love a room filled with natural light, and this room was definitely that (if you open the shades). Be aware that the bathroom window has a staircase/fire escape outside it, so you may want to only open the shade over the frosted glass portion. I was surprised to see a person’s head above the frosted portion as they walked down the stairs one day, LOL. The 2nd floor pantry was just steps away, and was stocked with a Keurig and water/sodas. So nice to not have to go downstairs every time we wanted coffee or tea! Overall a wonderful stay in a character filled Cape May landmark.

We recently stayed in a third floor suite in the House of Royals building of the Queen Victoria. Overall I will give high marks for comfort, cleanliness, and location. Our suite had two full bathrooms, two TVs , a sitting room with a pull out couch and electric fireplace , a bar area with fully stocked fridge, ample coffee/tea, and a wine cooler. High quality toiletries, fluffy towels, towel warmer racks and robes were all very much appreciated. Room climate control was excellent although the bathrooms were cold at night if the doors remained shut. There is a second floor pantry with more sodas, coffee, tea, sherry and fresh baked treats. The building itself was not particularly welcoming, though, old carpet, very steep staircases ( yes I know this is typical in big old Victorians) and a quirky entrance system. There’s a bit of an impersonal feel to the inn, which I didn’t expect having stayed at so many other Victorian b&b’s, and a couple of the staff were a bit gruff in their manner. Breakfasts were good, and are served in the different buildings including the one we stayed in, though there were slim pickings in the last half hour of service so I’d suggest eating early. Overall, the decor and atmosphere has a faded, generic and impersonal, kind of utilitarian style to it, maybe more of a Victorian hotel than an inn, with less art , antiques and collectibles than Is more typically found in Victorian b&b’s , at least in my experience . Also, note that street parking is likely a challenge off season, as only a handful of rooms offer parking. But these were are all minor issues for us, and the excellent location and quiet, good night’s sleep each night made for a very nice stay.

Upon arrival, we were shocked to learn that there is no parking available on site. The innkeeper told us that we would need to drive a few blocks to find unmetered parking. It was a challenge to find a spot and when we finally did, it was a long walk back to the inn. When they finally called to say our room was ready, we didn't want to lose our parking spot, so we had to trek back to our car and carry our bags all the way back. Definitely not the best start to our romantic getaway. We stayed two nights in the Princess Alice room in the House of Royals. The pictures online do not represent the room accurately. The bathroom sink is actually in the room directly across from the bed. There is a small awkward couch that only accommodate one person somewhat comfortably. The balcony is nice and the rocking chairs comfortable but the "ocean view" is a stretch. Yes, if you look down the street and out towards the horizon, you can see where the ocean is located. There is a pantry on the same floor and it was stocked with water, soda, coffee pods, and a large assortment of tea bags. There was also a bottle of sherry with glasses. There was a large ice maker, glasses, mugs, ice buckets, and corkscrews. Having such easy access to the pantry was a definite plus. If you are looking for places to sit and chat both inside and out, then do not stay in the House of Royals. While there is a "dining room" with tables and chairs, there is absolutely no where else to hang out in this building. Breakfast both mornings was a huge disappointment! Buffet style: the first morning there was a tin with apple stuffed French toast and another tin with sausage just sitting on the table. There was fruit, granola, bagels, and English muffins. I truly expected something more upscale or even something that reflected effort. The second morning, we had to search for where breakfast was being served. It was two buildings away and this breakfast was just as disappointing as the first. Biscuits, a hashbrown casserole in a tin, sausage gravy in a tin and sausage patties just sitting on the table. The was also fruit, bagels, English muffins and granola. Again, I felt like there was no effort to make breakfast appealing. The food was lukewarm at best since it is just sitting out. At a bed and breakfast, you would expect the breakfast to be more upscale and interesting. I will end with some positive comments. The location is great. It is walking distance to the shopping, beach, and most activities. The staff that we interacted with were personable.

This is our 2nd visit to the queen victoria and as always love love love our stay. The staff always seems to be right there when you need them especially Ashely. We cant wait to return. We own a bed and breakfast in savannah ga so we understand the dedication...
