Breakfasts are really good. We had one lunch and a beautiful brunch at 101 which is very special and also the food served around the Safina pool is excellent. We spent a lot of time around the Safina pool and the staff were just great with special mention to Dimitri.
The space around the hotel is expansive with the lovely beach and the gardens. The sun loungers on the beach are set really far apart and the views back towards the city are excellent.
Throughout the hotel and grounds there are beautiful design features and colour schemes which contribute to a feeling of calm and tranquility. Our bedroom, which was one of the most basic, was really lovely with a big balcony and a fabulous bathroom. The hotel and grounds are immaculate.
This low rise, spacious and calm oasis which has only 90 rooms is the antithesis of the high rise mega hotels which Dubai seems to be famous for. If you want bling, partying and people this is not the hotel for you but for me it is just perfect and one of the very best places I’ve ever stayed. We will be back!

3rd visit to the glorious one and only the palm, opulent and luxurious hotel on the end of the palm surprisingly calm and quiet with the cityscape in the background. Excellent staff and customer service throughout the hotel…I would really rather not leave a glowing review as I don’t want too many people to know about this little gem!
Many of the hotels in Dubai standards have fallen since the COVID pandemic or have succumbed to a noisy beach club vibe here thankfully non of that but close enough to obtain it if that’s your thing.
The adult infinity pool is a simply stunning relaxing place to spend the days in the sun.
Just perfect….the best beach hotel we have stayed in anywhere!.

From check in to departure our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. I can, without doubt, say this is now in my top hotels to stay in the world and absolutely the best hotel in the Middle East. The service is perfect and all the staff welcome you with smiles and genuinely want to be there to help. The resort itself is stunning, so tranquil and relaxing and truly luxurious. We loved both the Grand Pool and Safina pool...staff were excellent at both. We stayed in a Palm Mansion room with beautiful views of the beach . It is oversized ( 65m square), perfectly designed and stunningly decorated. The balcony is also magnificent and provides a further relaxing place to sit and gaze across the Dubai sea. We loved all the restaurants 101, Zest and Stay. Stay is a 2 Michelin and as foodies it was wonderful to have this as part of the hotel. Breakfast was also very special. Fabulous food and service in the perfect outdoor setting. We also enjoyed the convenience of catching the short glamorous boat trip over to the Royal Mirage with its further selection of restaurants. Tresind there definitely worth a visit. It was amazing. As mentioned all the staff were fantastic ( and apologies if I forget to name) but a special shout out to our host Andrei who looked after us impeccably. Also, to the senior management team for being ever present with big smiles asking how our stay was, Rahul Sharma (GM) and Vanessa ( Director of rooms). Also, at breakfast Kuli was brilliant. Finally, Santosh ( Zest) and Vanessa ( Lounge bar) were brillant too.
Thank you to all the staff for providing a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning very soon.

We arrived yesterday for our second visit and I see no point in waiting to review this place, it is spectacular from start to finish… the friendly guys welcoming us out of the cab, the smooth informal check-in before we are bathed in the luxury of the resort and the excellence of the staff. Food is out of this world, onsite chefs baking delightful treats in front of you and facilities are spot on (great gym and stunning adults only pool my favourites). We have already decided to come back for our break without the kids next year.

The venue is beautiful, idyllic.
The food sensational. Complemented by a very decent wine list.
Seabream for all four of us, on two sharing plates, one grilled, the other baked in salt. Fabulous, tasteful and delicate.
The whole experience was delightful.

Stunning bathroom. Quite possible the nicest I've ever done my abolutions in. Sadly much nicer than my own bathroom at home.
Had a suite I think. Felt a bit cheeky to call it a suite as the sofa area was in the sleeping space, but the outside area was nice and the private pool was ample.
We only stayed a night as we were passing through the city. All of the staff were very helpful. To be honest it was really nice overall and I'd definitely return for a longer stay when I'm next dragged to Dubai.

By far the best hotel experience I’ve had for a long time and certainly the best in Dubai. Attentive staff, quality food and beautiful facilities. The only small problem (and this is not the hotels fault) is the noise that comes from West Beach opposite. Simply wonderful experience.
A little piece of paradise in a hectic city

We had a short 3 day break here and loved every minute. We've stayed at many hotels in Dubai but this was our first time at the One & Only The Palm and it is definitely my favourite. If you are looking to get away from all the madness this is the place, super tranquil but pure luxury. The food is amazing, we loved the breakfast but also the food at 101 on the marina was stunning. The rooms beautiful, spacious with very very comfy beds. The staff couldnt be more attentive without being overbearing. The staff at the Safina pool were particularly helpful. The two pools are absolutely beautiful but we spent most of our time at the adults only Safina Pool which was so tranquil with the comfiest pool beds i've ever had. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a luxurious escape.

We have always wanted to go to this hotel after staying at The O&O Royal Mirage The Palace in 2020 (which we loved) and after getting a great deal, we booked it.
We were in the most basic of room categories, Room 311, but this was a fabulous room with a view of the sea and was really spacious with a very welcome amount of storage space and a lovely dressing area. Lots of water left daily and a little treat in the evening for turn down.
Our host, Sachin, was fabulous and went the extra mile for us, we used his services every day for booking restaurants and asking for other tips.
The main pool area is vast and the double sunbeds are really comfy, you can almost roll into the pool to cool off. We did also try the adult area pool but preferred the main pool. The beach was also very quiet, most people opting for the pool area.
The breakfasts were very good with a lovely al a carte menu.
We enjoyed 101 Restaurant (and the Wagyu beef) the staff were very attentive and really helpful, and always went above and beyond. We also dined at Zest. We think the hotel would benefit from a third genuine dining option or perhaps being able to dine at The O&O Royal Mirage. There is the Michelin starred restaurant but it is very expensive and not realistically an option for regular dining.
The gym is also really good, with up to date equipment, but can get a little busy in the morning.
We really enjoyed our stay: the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the piano bar area is lovely. Overall, it is a very special hotel and I am so glad I was able to stay. Lots of people we met return multiple times each and every year. That speaks volumes. What makes the hotel great is the staff. They are very attentive and remember your name and are a credit to the General Manager who is himself a lovely chap.

Sujith is absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough to make our holiday amazing as usual! Also Salman at Safina bar made us the best cocktails, very personal & went above and beyond to make sure every day by the pool we were completely looked after from start to finish! The staff at this hotel (every single one) are absolutely outstanding and we cannot wait to revisit in the new year! ❤️ Stephanie whitehead & Nick Wilkinson!!! X

The hotel was simply amazing. We were in need of a restful holiday, and we certainly had that in luxury surroundings.
The Team at the Hotel, went out of their way to ensure our stay was the best it could be. Without exception, everyone was so lovely, helpful, thoughtful and kind.
The room we had, pools, restaurants and Spa were all out of this world.
A particular thank you to Andrei, our host, who made our stay so special.
Our only disappointment was having to leave! We hope to be back again soon.

Facilities/decoration etc: The resort is really beautiful. It's understated luxury, especially v many in Dubai but we really liked this. It's low rise, there is space, the grounds are beautiful... there is a cream, brown sort of theme that comes alive in the evenings when the light candles and lanterns everywhere. The pool is large and not overcrowded... the beach is also quiet and calm.... nice gym, amazing equipment(!), spa also good and we enjoyed several massages especially the hot stone. Only slightly disappointment was the look of the kids club which is somewhat small and dark Rooms - the standard rooms here are excellent. Huge, beautifully decorated, gorgeous and spacious bathroom.... we stayed on the second floor which gave a lovely seaview over to the Atlantis. We also viewed the other room categories... the junior suites in the mansions were beautiful and would work really well with a little one or two. The villas were absolutely gorgeous, really spacious and well laid out. Decor and bathrooms incredibly similar across all room categories.
Food and drink - great standard throughout. Breakfast was really nicely done, everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared with a wide variety but not totally out of hand. Food in the restaurants was really excellent... we loved the desert library in 'stay' and the prawn salad in 101 (the bar there is great too). The children's menu is very good too, varied and actually child friendly.
Service - 100% excellent. My husband is somewhat picky with service and it's a big priority for him... he really likes four seasons on this basis but we felt this was just as good here. Consistent, friendly, well informed, unobtrusive... really good. Particular mention to Kumar in the gym whom my husband loved his training sessions with. Also to Nick who was our butler: I tend to not get much out of the butler concept but here it was honestly great... Nick sorted tables, recommended places (he was really well informed on restaurants, even where to sit within them), moved transfers, organised complementary room service in the morning of our departure as we were too early for the main seating... really good. Also, we were given a room on arrival (with BA we landed around 6.30am), this made such a huge difference to our stay.
Location - it is out of the 'mix' for want of a better phrase! 20-30 minutes drive from the main areas of shopping/restaurants. For us this was a positive, it feels a lot more like going to a beach resort and is calm and chilled... the beach is quiet, there are no tourists visiting your bar (Burge) or lobbies full of business people having meetings over afternoon tea (four seasons). Only draw back is the view from the beach... rather than looking out to sea you look back into the palm at some not very attractive mid rise buildings, half built currently... but you get over that and the advantage is that the water is very calm and safe. Our little boys would have totally loved the beach, gentle entry, ridiculously warm water, no one around and good bucket and spade sand(!).

Stunning, One and Only never lets you down
Everything perfect, room, service, pool, beach, cannot fault it and we are very picky! We even arrived very early and our room was available and they gave us early access.
This was a business trip / mini break added on, just fabulous.
Restaurant Stay ( Michelin 2 star) also incredible.
Fabulous welcome by all members of staff. Beautiful hotel, the gardens and reception area are stunning.
Pool and beach areas are perfect.
Our mansion room is amazing, so spacious and well laid out.
The cleaning staff are very attentive and professional.
Our meal at 101 restaurant was wonderful.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a remarkable experience—it's an absolute must!
This hotel exceeded all expectations and stands out as one of the finest places I've ever stayed, despite my extensive travels. The reception staff truly went the extra mile to ensure my brother and I had everything we needed. The management's hospitality was impeccable, offering top-notch service throughout our stay.

Such a beautiful hotel. Even when it was at 95% capacity, it felt empty. Our room in Palm Beach Mansion 7 was fabulous with a huge balcony overlooking the Atlantis Royal and the Palm.
We spent days at the Safina beach club and on the beautiful beach. We ate in the 101 and this was great! We also went across to the Royal Mirage and had a lovely meal at the EauZone, also Zest was lovely!
The Guerlain spa was divine!!! The best massage myself and my husband have ever had.
This is a 5* hotel in every way…apart from…and I am very conflicted writing this…the noise pollution from the beach club in front of The Fairmont is a massive issue for the O&O on the weekends. The hotel is aware of this and say they usually call the police several times a night over the weekend . On the Saturday night whilst we were there, the relentless hard core base went on until past 3am in the morning and the Friday wasn’t much better. Also during the daytime, you can hear the thudding music whilst chilling on the beach. I didn’t mind this so much, but I guess this would be an unwilling addition for some.
My issue is that I’m not sure I would have booked the hotel, had I of been aware of this deal breaker…I NEED my sleep…but the hotel don’t really want you to be aware in advance, as obviously it would affect business…and it isn’t really the fault of the hotel.
I’m glad we came…it really is a beautiful hotel, with attentive staff, great food and lovely facilities…but I very sadly wouldn’t come back unless they could address the noise issue with the powers that be!
