We absolutely loved Marquis! The property was just beautiful and the staff was so nice. We splurged and got the master suite and it was the nicest room I have ever stayed in! We had our own pool and chairs to lay out and it was so quiet. We came for our anniversary and they put a happy anniversary sign on our door and gave us chocolate and wine when we arrived. Then on our actual anniversary day we paid extra for the romantic beach dinner, but they let us know the day before that they had an event so they couldn't do it on the beach, so they gave us an option of switching to the next night or changing locations to a private casita. We chose the casita because we wanted to do the dinner on our anniversary date and it was beautiful. Such a beautiful location, good food and the service was top notch. When we came back to our room after dinner they had filled up the bathtub and sprinkled rose petals and left tea light candles for us. They were so thoughtful and the little touches were so special. We are already talking about when we can go back. If you are planning a trip you should absolutely stay here, you won't regret it!

They also had activities planned each day, though most guests didn’t participate in them. Food-wise it was ok. We liked the breakfast. However, we did not love the restaurants nor their food options. I will say that the hibachi was fun and tasty. The Italian restaurant, Pergola, was surprisingly poor. Like 1 star, bad. The service wasn’t nearly as friendly as the other spots and the food was weak. Their interpretation of bruschetta and tiramisu left much to be desired. I also ate the carbonara and it made me sick. So, we could not give it 5 stars. But 4.5 would be appropriate.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. Facilities, food, beverage, service, entertainment, details on every angle were spot on perfect. Adrian & Sergio with the pool service both went above and beyond expectations for taking care of their customers.

This was by far our best vacation and the resort/staff surpassed our expectations. We had a dream honeymoon. I can’t imagine staying at another resort. It’s my first time here at Marquis Los Cabos and the service was great. The food was delicious. The towels could be softer but other than that everything was great. I love the activities team (Esmeralda, Monte, Jared & Angelo). Eliel was great as well.

I don’t usually like resorts but this one was great! Its not a timeshare, was adults only, food was fantastic, master suite was spacious and beautiful with plunge pool, service and staff excellent (shout out to Monti and Luis) and watching the whales migrate from the pool was amazing!

After spending 8 days here, we got to become very close with the activity staff such as, Montse, Jared, Jhony, Angelo, and Esmeralda. These 5 individuals made our honeymoon so much fun, that it got us excited to see them everyday of our vacation. The food was amazing, along with the staff at Marquis from the cleanliness, food, and drinks. We will definitely be coming back again and hope to meet our friends of the entertainment group again.

Sexy Jared made our time super enjoyable. We did the mini golf, latin dance classes, trivia, and a whole load of other activities. It was a nice break for our whole group. Jared, Esme and the whole crew made our trip extra special. Hugh recommend

Amazing entertainment staff and plenty of activities to keep you busy! Jared and Jhony have kept us entertained and always making sure were having a great time. Everyone has been so friendly and overall a great experience. Food and drinks are great and you definitely can’t beat the view.

Pool side service was fantastic. All of staff was great. Good food options and most was very tasty. Liked breakfast in our room each day. The resort app worked well. Although the large waves make the beach dangerous to swim, a protected beach is a short walk away.

I haven’t been on an all-inclusive vacation in some years and this place didn’t disappoint. It was very relaxing and the grounds and views were spectacular. I found all of the staff very kind and accommodating. Service was regular while lounging pool side. We took advantage of daily activities and appreciated how the activities staff engaged with guests to maximize participation. I loved playing cornhole, ping pong, water aerobics and the guided beach walk. Enrique and Johny were awesome and made each day fun. The infinity pool was awesome. This is a place if you want to relax and unwind… read a book, lay by the pool. The food was mid but I haven’t experienced the greatest food at all inclusive resorts. I really liked the wood fire pizzas, the Italian and the teppanyaki restaurants were good. Ceviche and Cesar salads were also yummy.

My wife and I were on a baby moon and they were great about making sure she had fun non-alcoholic drinks and guiding her through menus to avoid raw seafood. We would gladly return.

It gets better and better and better each visit!!! My wife and I love Marquis and frequently visit. Our most recent trip included friends that asked to join us because we look so happy and relaxed in the photos we take and post. They LOVED their week at Marquis. A stay at Marquis goes like this: Check in is smooth and simple with beautiful views from the lobby. Upon arrival you immediately see the hotel is well maintained and the staff is friendly. You are greeted by the bellmen who assist you with luggage and allow you to head over to the check in desk. Check in is smooth and informative: confirm your dates of stay, let you know about the hotel APP, and explain the dangers of the Cabo Rip Current. Next, the bellman assists you with your bags and leads you to your room where they go over the room features and answer any question. I called ahead to make dinner reservations. A benefit of being a frequent visitor is that I know the menus enabling me to plan out what I would like to eat each night. All the foods are delicious,..seriously delicious and I don't mean "good for an all inclusive". Head chef Hotter along with Chef Rene(such a kind heart)Chef Francisco(funny guy!!!) and Chefs Alejando have combined their culinary skills to create amazing dishes. They incorporate flavors from different cultures and bring them together so each restaurant's menu is unique. Before dinner we of course enjoy breakfast and lunch. Breakfast at Vista Ballenas is wonderful, Adriana will greet you with the happiest tone and most beautiful smile. Tania, Isobel, Enrique, and Glenda were our morning servers and each was very attentive to our needs. The buffet is great but should you wish for something specific I have found asking politely goes a long way. On different mornings I enjoyed Huevos Rancheros, soft boiled eggs and fresh french toast, on a morning it was not offered at the buffet. After breakfast most guests will find themselves relaxing poolside or in the infinity edge pools. The service team, lead by Azucena/Peque/Suzie are all phenomenal!! All day they are engaging each guest checking to see if there is something they can retrieve for them from the restaurant or bar. Leon, Maggie, Erik, Julio, Jose Maria, Ilell, Arturo, and Sergio took great care of us and teh other guests. St Patricks day the hotel had a Drum line and dancers parade along the pool area. Guests rose from their loungers to join in the fun. Favorite part was watching guests and hotel staff, one particular staff member(of which I have video), try to hip shake and dance with the lead brazilain dancer. She put us all to shame!! Green Jello Shots followed the parade :). Such a fun event!!!!!! Lunches are fantastic at Marquis!! There is a taco bar should you want to grab something easy and eat under the Pegola or take them to your lounge chair. You may order a sandwich from the cafe or sit at the Dos Mares restaurant enjoying anything from tacos, nachos and burgers to fresh salmon or meaty white fish. So many lunch option at the pool level. For something indoors, great for beating the heat in the hotter months, Vista Ballenas is open with a lovely menu. Dinners are great at Marquis, each restaurant has its select menu and delicious offerings. Vista Ballanis dinners are of mexican flare. I like the ribeye tacos. Pergola has italian based offerings. I love the pizza, risottos, filet and tiramisu. The Carbona pasta is great, very creamy sauce!!! Bacaloa is a fish house restuarant and the flavors are delicious!! I do not order fish when dining at home but I do enjoy the prepartion and flavors Marquis offers. That says a lot. Sakke, is a fun Tepan style restaurantthat has both tepan and a la cart dining options. A bit louder than the other restaurants but its with fun energy from the tepan chefs and the diners ooohhhing and awwwwing over the tepan show. I think it's my favorite restaurant,....tough call between Pergola and Sakke. Some the servers that helped make our dinner experiences wonderful were: Victor and Oscar(Pergola), Jorge and Rodolfo(Vista Ballenas), Rodney, Mario and Antonio(Sakke). I enjoyed a birthday celebration this past trip and wanted to thank: Adriana, Liliana, Cassandra, Mauricio, Suzie for stopping to wish me Happy Birthday. Also, the entire breakfast service for singing to me. Chefs: Hotter, Rene, Francisco and Alejanros thank you for the great meals. I gained 12lb this trip. Yes, muy gordo but I have already lost the weight plus some so I can binge next trip. I love the food at Marquis!!!! If the chefs ever want me to be a taste tester for feedback on a new dish,... Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is beautiful and impeccably clean. The food is both healthful and delicious. We had perfect weather throughout our trip. While the beach directly in front of the hotel isn't swimmable due to large waves, you can take a pleasant 5–10 minute walk to reach a beach where swimming is safe and enjoyable. This was a 10 out of 10 vacation — highly recommended Marquis Los Cabos!

We loved this cozy beachfront resort! This was my partners 2nd visit and my first. They have a nice assortment of food options including fresh catch of the day directly from the Sea of Cortez. Jamie in Suspiro lounge has been our favorite server so far, but everyone here is accommodating and a pleasure to work with. This being a non-timeshare resort we found the experience to be completely hassle free which was refreshing.

We stayed at the Marquis for 9 nights. It was relaxing, quiet, and staff and many guests were very friendly. We had a third floor room with a fantastic view - I am not sure how I will sleep now at home without the sound of the surf! The food was very good. Breakfast at Vista Bellenas was a great way to start each day - Tania was the best server we have ever had and we always had a couple of her special iced coffees. Paloma and Adriana were always helpful and smiling as well. A couple of our pool servers stood out as well - Arturo and Sergio T were so helpful and attentive. From housekeeping, to the concierge and the gardeners the staff were wonderful. We ate at every restaurant and enjoyed all of them. Dos Mares for poolside lunch had a fantastic burger, and I had the Yucatan Ceviche every day! Johnny with the entertainment staff was also so entertaining - from archery to the lazy games to our visit to the art walk in San Jose he made it fun! We are already planning our return trip!

Our trip to Marquis Los Cabos was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. A huge shoutout to Leon, Octavio, Diego, and Eric, the incredible pool waiters. They were always friendly, quick to bring drinks, and just had a great vibe that made lounging by the pool even better. The coffee shop crew was just as wonderful—always cheerful and fast with service, making sure our mornings started off right. The pool team, led by Alicia Hermosillo, did an amazing job keeping everything spotless. The water was crystal clear, and the lounge chairs were always clean and neatly arranged. You can tell they take pride in their work! Breakfast was a highlight, thanks to Amanda, Isabel, and Paloma. They were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Their service really stood out. Housekeeping kept our room fresh and tidy every day, and the turn-down service added a nice touch. A little tip—if you prefer an earlier turn-down, it helps to call ahead, since they sometimes come between 9:00 and 9:30 PM. The food was delicious, and the drinks were strong! They don’t have a huge selection of premium liquors, but honestly, what they had was more than enough for me. One thing to note is that there are a few maintenance issues that could use some attention—things like painting touch-ups, some slow sink drains in the hotel rooms, and a missing pool tiles. These didn’t take away from our overall experience, but fixing them would make everything feel even more polished. That being said, the grounds keeping crew deserves major recognition. The landscaping was always immaculate, and it was clear they put in a lot of effort to keep the resort looking beautiful. They were constantly hard at work, making sure the gardens and outdoor spaces were in top shape. Overall, I’d rate Marquis Los Cabos an 8 out of 10. Honest Review from a Seasoned All-Inclusive Traveler For context, I’m in my mid-forties, and my partner and I have stayed at all-inclusive resorts at least once a year for the past 12 years. Check-In: Check-in was smooth, fast, and efficient. We were greeted with a welcome drink that was fantastic—a great start to the trip. Room: Our room was centrally located and ocean-facing. While the view was nice, the room itself felt a bit underwhelming compared to others we've stayed in. It's a quirky layout—you can literally see from the toilet to the ocean. But the downside is that someone sitting on the couch can also hear and see (via the silhouette through the door) what's happening in the bathroom. The bed was soft but lumpy. Light sleepers beware: the ocean is very close, and the waves pound the shore. While the sound is relaxing during the day, the nighttime “reverb” inside the room is quite loud. To top it off, the nightly party at the main bar is also clearly audible from the room. Resort Layout & Amenities: The resort is compact, which some may find convenient. However, we felt that its small footprint limited the variety of amenities compared to larger resorts we’ve visited. Dining: Restaurants were a mixed bag—overall, we’d rate them a B-. We’re big sushi fans, and unfortunately, the offerings here were pretty average. For breakfast, your only options are room service or the buffet—and you can’t serve yourself; staff dish it out for you, which felt a bit restrictive. That said, Pergola was a standout. The freshly made pizza and tacos were fantastic. Other restaurants were just okay. Room service was quick, which we appreciated, but the food itself was nothing memorable, with a fairly basic menu. Pool & Bar Service: The pool staff were attentive and worked hard—possibly because we tip regularly—but they truly hustled. The pool area is nice but somewhat limited in space. One notable letdown: no cocktail menu. We enjoy trying new and creative drinks, but without a menu, the options felt limited. Also, be prepared for the "towel-game". Vibe: This is a very chill, quiet resort. If you're looking to party, you may want to consider other options. There’s only one bar open at night, and the location isn’t ideal in our opinion. Beach/Ocean Access: Don’t expect to swim in the ocean here. The waves are rough and dangerous, and guests aren't allowed in the water. If ocean access is important to you, you’ll need to walk about 500 yards down to the Hilton, where it’s much calmer. Other Notes: The spa was very nice—a definite highlight. The resort is also a short ride from downtown Cabo, which was a big plus compared to other more remote resorts we’ve stayed at. Hope this helps.

We really enjoyed our stay. Montserrat, Jared, Johnny, and Esmeralda were the greatest in providing fun and knowledge of all of the daily and nightly entertainment. They truly made everyone feel included. If you find them then you will find fun!

Absolutely love this resort!! Great for couples plus has so much to do. Wouldn't have been as fun without Monserrat, Esmerelda, Johnny and Jared. They were the best entertainment coordinators I've ever experienced at a resort! So much fun, would absolutely recommend!

Our recent stay at Marquis Los Cabos presented a mix of appealing features and considerable frustrations, ultimately leading to significant disappointment. While the resort offers undeniable aesthetic appeal and some commendable service aspects, several key areas notably detracted from the experience. The stunning ocean views and the sound of the waves from the delightful pools were a highlight, as was the evening entertainment. We also want to acknowledge the hardworking staff throughout the resort; their dedication was evident, and our negative experiences seemed unrelated to their individual efforts. However, the dining experience was inconsistent and often disappointing. Breakfast, in particular, was subpar, with a prevalence of greasy, high-fat options and a notable lack of choices for health-conscious individuals. While the fresh and ripe fruits were a positive exception, a simple option like oatmeal would have been greatly appreciated. Our initial night was severely marred by excessive noise from a neighboring room (2 AM - 4 AM). The front desk's response was dismissive and unprofessional, offering no apology and simply advising us to "dial 0" next time. This lack of empathy was a major letdown. The pool drinks were consistently poor. They lacked premium quality and tasted like cheap mixes, making it frustrating to find an enjoyable beverage poolside. Our greatest disappointment stemmed from the spa experience. While the hot stone massage by Dayana was exceptional—the best I've ever had—the billing process was incredibly frustrating and misleading. We had rented a cabana with a promised 20% spa discount. However, at checkout, the discount was denied for a "package," an exclusion that was never communicated upfront. Feeling misled and dismissed in such a direct manner was very upsetting. In conclusion, Marquis Los Cabos offers a beautiful setting and benefits from a dedicated staff. However, the unacceptable handling of a noise complaint, the inconsistent dining quality (especially breakfast), the poor pool drink quality, and particularly the dishonest spa billing practices left us profoundly disappointed with what should have been a seamless luxury experience.

We've stayed at other resorts in Cabo, but the Marquis has been our absolute favorite so far - we will definitely be back. One of the biggest factors in choosing the Marquis is that all rooms, except for certain Casitas, have a direct view of the Sea of Cortez. We stayed in an Oceanfront King Jr Suite on the 5th floor, and the view was incredible. Everything at the resort was clean and spotless - even the pool restrooms! Our bed was very comfortable. The food was so good. We tried all restaurants except for Canto del Mar, and Pergola was our favorite. The steak we had was cooked to perfection and delicious. We enjoyed drinks at the Suspiro Bar each evening before dinner. The bartenders can make pretty much anything you want. Breakfast at Vista Ballenas was very chill and enjoyable. I'm missing the mimosas!! Pool service was great as well. And speaking of pools, the infinity pools are gorgeous. We spent our days by the Sunset pool, where activities abound during the afternoon. The staff works hard to get people involved in the afternoon activities. Evening entertainment was fun as well. We love that the Marquis is smaller and more intimate than the huge, sprawling resorts. It's so easy to get to everything! Marquis Los Cabos is a fantastic resort, and we can't wait to get back there next year!

What a wonderful trip at an equally wonderful resort. From booking the stay to include the flight, transportation, and excursions; Everything about our trip was easy, simple, and stress-free. The room was beautiful. Drinks were plentiful. Unfortunately my fiancee got sick after eating at one of the restaurants on our first night but we know that it was due more to her delicate stomach than any issue with the cooking/food. Even then, the staff was obviously concerned for her wellbeing and made very effort to make sure we were well taken care of. Every member of the staff was helpful in every way. The only con was that the beach is not swimable but it is completely understandable. My new fiancee and I could think of no better place to get engaged.

Wonderful food and service… gourmet and lots of variety. Staff were professional and friendly. Adults only. Entertainment was top notch. The infinity pool on the beach was enough reason to choose this resort. Breathtaking. The vibe was very elegant.

The resort has a small feel to it, which makes it more charming and cozier than some of the mega all inclusive resorts. The rooms are nice (stayed in a few different types over multiple visits) and pretty much all of them have a great ocean view - there are parts of the rooms however that feel a bit dated. All of the staff are attentive and willing to help with anything. The poolside service is awesome, the restaurant staff is great (shout out to Adriana!), and the activities crew is a lot of fun with stuff to keep you occupied all day. This place is really a gem.

This wedding anniversary trip was even better than our honeymoon at the Four Seasons! Total truth in advertising; the welcome pavilion, rooms, infinity pool, and endless paradise views are exactly as you see them online and maybe more beautiful in person. Drinks and food are good (some of the simple options are the best, like the steak and chicken quesadillas, Caesar salad with shrimp, omelet bar, fresh fruit, pizza, grilled fish), the service is wonderful, and this is THE PLACE to come for total tranquility and relaxation. Bring a couple of books, your SPF, your sweetheart, and just a tiny bit of flexibility and you will have a fabulous and restorative experience. If you are bothered by the occasional hiccup, you can spend easily double the price and still not be assured of perfection. This place is an incredible value, especially through Costco Travel, and we felt welcomed, pampered, and catered to.

She had to improvise because she didn't have her music due to the wifi not working and she still did an amazing job! I really enjoyed her classes! We also had a couples massage with Gabriella and another lady who were both great! Highly recommend this resort!

I would highly recommend the Marquis Los Cabos. It is a quiet resort with wonderful accommodations. We are very particular about our bed and bedding and theirs was perfect - the mattress, pillows, sheets and comforter were all extremely comfortable. The night life is limited compared to other resorts but that's what we were looking for. The food was better than expected. I never have high expectations at all inclusive resorts but this exceeded expectations. The one downside is that the seafood restaurant is only open on Tuesdays and Fridays. We arrived Sunday afternoon and immediately tried to make a reservation for Tuesday but were unable to. We left Friday morning so we were out of luck. The staff was attentive and seemed happy to be there. All of the rooms are ocean front / view. Like many Cabo resorts, the beach here was not swimmable. We would definitely return!

Adriana, the hostess at Vista Ballenas, has an uncanny knack for remembering room numbers and names, and is the most pleasant and efficient hostess at the Marquis resort. It's little this which will entice us to return for another vacation.
