I recently stayed at this hotel and the stay was overall ok. We stayed there because we were invited to a wedding there. I would not recommend this resort to people who are not coming with children. It is a very kid friendly hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. One of the highlights of this hotel is its connection to a promenade filled with a variety of restaurants. The hotel markets itself as a resort, it feels more like a very large hotel. There is only one restaurant, a pool bar and a cafe/ convenient store type of place called Provisions. The on-site food is underwhelming, so I’d recommend exploring the nearby restaurants at the promenade which are a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The pools are generally filled with kids, so not a relaxing pool experience.

Bed Bug Infested Margaritaville Resort Orlando with ZERO sense of responsibility and degradation to guest. (We have documentation and evidentiary support to this review) We recently stayed at Margaritaville Resort Room 507, and unfortunately, our experience was absolutely awful. Before going to bed we discovered bed bugs crawling all over the bedding. We were able to kill two, take photos videos and made a run for it before they would infest our belongings and bite us. After reporting the problem, the staff did respond promptly by cleaning the room, removing the infected bedding, taking all our clothes to get professionally laundered and transferring us to another room. However, despite these efforts, I was left feeling unsettled unable to sleep thinking on the possibility of having eggs on our luggage. It was a sleepless night full of anxiety and uncertainty. The resort then had Orkin Pest Control conduct an inspection, but they claimed there were no signs of bed bugs, which contradicted the evidence we had gathered. The inspection was done on Tuesday morning ( we reported this Sunday) after the room was turned, cleaned and sanitized - OF COURSE THE EVIDENCE WAS CLEARED! We have videos, photos, and even witnesses from the hotel staff who saw and confirmed the presence of the infestation Sunday night. The bedding itself had all the evidence of the dead beg bugs and the blood streaming out of them. ETHICALLY I have to write this review to let the next guest of this hotel know that this case was not treated, it was dismissed and another family will stay in a room where bedbugs and their eggs live. While I appreciate the initial efforts made by the resort team, the lack of thoroughness in addressing the issue raises serious concerns. An agent from the Cottages rental office with absolutely subpar customer service skills dismissed us at checkout demanding “what is it that you want from us, do you want like refund or just not pay”. She didn’t even check our reservation, which was a PREPAID booking through Amex platinum travel. She treated us horribly, and dismissed our statements and incident report. After this, we emailed the resort director and after two follow-ups , having sent him all the videos and evidence, we haven’t even received a courtesy email. We did however pay every last penny that we were charged for two nights of failure to sleep, eggs on luggage and bedbug bites on my husbands’ left shoulder. I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and implements better pest control measures moving forward. Until then, I cannot recommend this resort based on my troubling experience and I will be reporting this to the Kissimmee Health Department, Orkin , Better Buisness Bureau and all entities that can PROTECT hotel guest from these health and bed bug hazards. Shame on you Margaritaville Resorts for placing your guest in hazardous conditions and then treating us poorly for reporting it.

Currently staying here First the positive: beautiful grounds, very nice pools, perfect location with being able to walk to restaurants, stores Disappointing parts: Third time here and all three times we hear some excuse about why the fire pit at the pool can’t be used. This time guy at pool said “oh we only do the fires on really cool nights” ummm it’s February and people at the pool were wearing sweatshirts and freezing when getting out of the water during the evening swim so it would be a perfect time for a fire Next issue is there’s only one hot tub and the jets wouldn’t turn on at all so I asked the same guy if it’s broken and he said he had no idea. The water in hot tub was also not as warm as you’d expect it to be so something seems off. With spending over $2300.00 for a week here these two areas (fire pit) (hot tub) should absolutely be up and running.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage and it was beautiful!. check in was quick although the line, and all the ammenities were amazing. reception team was very helpful and the gentlemen that helped us as well ( raphael). I hope to come back in the future!

My husband and I took a few days between Christmas and New Years to soak in some sun and relax. Margaritaville Orlando was a good fit. We were delighted to be welcomed with a complimentary rum punch. We were impressed with the luxury appointments noticeable on the convenient walk to our room. Beach life inspired art decorated the way, while plush beautifully designed turquoise carpets pampered our tootsies. Every detail is thoughtfully executed from light fixtures, fabrics to bathroom hardware. The effect resulted in both of us being transported to a laid back atmosphere that truly let us unwind. A little snafu was our air conditioning did not work, but we were given a new room right away. The on-site restaurant is superb. The food tasted fresh and delicious. The bar is beautiful with gorgeous leather chairs and wood paneling. The restaurant has an open kitchen window to observe the chef and is absolutely pristine. The drinks in the interior restaurant were outstanding. The live music every night was entertaining. Out by the pool we reserved beach chairs by the pool bar. The pool bar drinks were too sweet in my humble opinion. Drinks tasted much sweeter than the interior restaurant. They played Christmas music out by the pool, which we loved! The pool had no smoking and no personal music policy which is great. The water was warm and inviting. The live music out by the pool was entertaining. The towels at the big pool, the green and white ones are not good. They are microfiber. Hack: go to other pool to get the big fluffy cotton towels (blue and white) and bring them over to the big pool. I also enjoyed the other pool which was not heated, because I love to swim in cold water. It was so invigorating. This pool is absolutely pristine and has huge fluffy cotton towels, beautiful deck furniture and a giant checkerboard. I love this pool. It's the one in my photos from our balcony. Also the plantings are lovely all over the property. The staff got to know us and made wonderful suggestions and made us feel at home.

We are leaving tomorrow and I am just so upset that I'm writing the review now. We were promised an upgrade at checking but it was 2 queens instead of 1 king so we paid an extra $1k for a suite. Something is wrong with the doorlock and we were locked out of our room last night at 1am. Finally got in with the help of some nice staff who promised to have it fixed first thing in morning. It worked in the morning so we thought they fixed it. An hour later, we were locked out again. Back to the lobby which now has a mile long line and no one seems to be able to help. Waiting for access to all of our belongings so we can go enjoy our day. Still waiting. Don't worry though, the time share sales people are happy to sign us up for a tour. Margaritaville... what will you do for our no-access to the room we paid for? Hello, Bueller? Anyone?

Stayed here in April 2025 for 3 nights to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We’re both Jimmy Buffett fans and wanted a quick 3 night trip to celebrate our anniversary. The decor of the lobby and throughout the hotel is very nice, it makes you feel like you’re in Margaritaville. Check in took longer than we had hoped, waited in line for about 45 minutes. I had contacted the hotel weeks prior to arrival to let them know we’d be celebrating our anniversary and they responded that it would be noted on our reservation. There was ZERO acknowledgment at any point during our stay. The room was comfortable, a/c worked very well, decor was nice, our balcony only had 1 chair but we made do. There are limited dining options for a ‘resort’, only 1 restaurant and a pool bar and grill. The pool area is nice and the beach sand was a nice touch.

Julian at Euphoria Restaurant was amazing! Ask for him!! Also the food was exceptional. We dined at breakfast and will be returning for dinner. This restaurant offers live music, which we have enjoyed on past visits. Kudos to Julian and Euphoria restaurant.

The resort is in an excellent location and the grounds and pool were mostly very nice, my issue is the constant fee's that you all tack onto bills, We sat by the pool and had 4 drinks and were charged a 20.00 service fee and 20.00 gratitude, we went to Europhia to listen to live music, sat at a table and had a drink and bam, charged, we paid a decent resort fee and the constant "add on" fee's are unacceptable, we did not know these fee's were being added so we also tipped per drink, our waitress got over 100 from us that day for 4 drinks. I heard many people complaining about the "extra" add on's. Also, all the kids activities we heard over the intercom by the pool, the kids had to pay for. That just sets badly with me. Your resort is not cheap and you need to remember that.
