Wonderful resort, with fantastic beach and incredible staff. I would recommend the rooms that are right on the sand, they have beautiful outdoor dining rooms to relax in any time of day or night and its mere steps to your very comfortable beach chairs. the room service and beach service was outstanding and the food generally quite good, particularly breakfast and lunch. We didn't venture off property this trip, but the downtown is a short taxi and looked like could be interesting as long as no cruise ships in port. the resort was just too nice to leave.

Firstly I’d like to point out that the hotel is wonderful on its own but I’d like to talk about the Ocean Spa at the inn. Headed by Mrs Jackson the spa’s tranquil environment makes you feel relaxed upon arrival. The kind staff namely Ulanda, Marciah, Ann &Azeeza😁 made my wife and I experience an absolute dream. We were treated to a special called the Ocean Combo where we were given a fresh cleansing mock tail namely lemon grass ginger ice tea and a 50 minute massage. The therapist were soft, not just with their touch but the way they spoke before, during and after the session. We had a bottle of wine afterwards which complimented the evening. I highly recommend the Ocean Spa to not just guests of Jamaica inn but to any and everyone who needs to simply unwind, restart and refresh.

I rarely write reviews but after our fabulous two-week stay at Jamaica Inn in early February I felt it was right and proper to acknowledge what makes this hotel so very special. The staff are truly exceptional. This was our first visit and we were aware that many guests had been returning to this glorious oasis of calm year after year. We were welcomed like old friends and, once our travel-induced coma had melted away, quickly and willingly embraced the enchanting ethos of the Inn. The setting is fabulous: a perfectly formed sandy beach flanked by luxuriant tropical gardens. A particular pleasure is watching and listening to the many species of birds that inhabit the garden and shoreline - pelicans and frigate birds are regular visitors. The accommodation is well appointed throughout and the style is understated sophistication that recalls the hotel’s fascinating history. Some nice touches: the weekly cocktail party, a chance to make friends; a complimentary rum punch before lunch on the beach at Teddy’s Bar; very relaxed and casual during daylight hours but a little more formal in the evening for cocktails and dinner on the terrace, accompanied by unobtrusive and accomplished local musicians; the owners always around for a chat and, finally, Shadow the black Labrador, a therapy dog for those of us missing our canine friends, always eager for a walk, swim or just a tummy tickle. I mentioned the staff and, though too numerous to mention, we fondly remember Ashalene, Williams and Patrick at the beach bar, all the guys on the beach looking out for our safety and insuring an immaculate beach at all times, Azeeza with the magical touch at the blissful spa and Samantha, the queen of cocktail hour. Thank you Jamaica Inn for a wonderful time, we really hope to see you all again.

Firstly, many thanks to Jessica at Tropic Breeze for recommending and arranging this trip :). As so many have said previously this a great resort. Well established but relaxed. The Inn revolves around its fabulous private beach where its guest are pampered all day (should they wish!). Rum punch in the morning followed by a nap became a regular occurrence. Should you wish, snorkelling, paddle boarding, sailing etc. is available. The beach bar was great and the friendly staff were always happy to make another rum punch or cocktail and teach you croquet. We went for a couple of massages. Both were fantastic and took place in a couples room where you could hear the waves breaking nearby. In the evening we enjoyed the food at the Terrace restaurant following cocktails and this was the more formal part of the day. The menu really did change every day, but I would like to recommend grilled catch of the day:). We enjoyed the daily music and learned to be ready with requests. On evenings when we felt like a change we went to Teddy's Grill on the beach and had a pizza. Also don't miss Tuesday nights hotel cocktail party - free drinks and a great way to meet people (should you wish to). The grounds are immaculate and contrast well with the colonial style buildings. It was refreshing to see the hotel owners out and about around the hotel. As many have said before the staff were excellent and it seems unfair to single any out in particular, however we would like to thank; Makayla at breakfast who was always happy. Patrick, Ashlene and Williams (Jason) aka 'coach' at the Beach Bar Patrice, Quade and Samantha at the main bar Chef Maurice Shai for her amazing singing Azeeza, Sharlene and Dannisha in the Spa Maria and housekeeping. Andre for the garden tour and spice tour and all the garden staff. All of the beach attendants I hope we will return, but if so we will fly into Montego Bay!

The service was outstanding Unbelievable warmth and excellence in all staff The meals superior We used the spa Aziza and Ann did a beautiful twilight bliss ocean massage for me and my partner Aziza also provided terrific foot and reflexology massages for both of us. As well as a mani/pedi. And an incredible facial. The best I’ve ever experienced The setting of the Spa was directly on the ocean and the sound of the crashing waves on the rocks made the experience even more effective.

It’s exceedingly rare for me to post reviews, but this one is well-earned—a special shoutout to Azeeza for the spa experiences!

We stayed here for 10 days to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and it lived up and exceeded our expectations ! Brilliant setting , Fabulous staff , Outstanding food and the relaxing break we wanted. Everyone we met on the staff was friendly, helpful and added to the experience

My husband and I returned from 3 weeks at the Jamaica Inn last night. 5 star all the way for us. And an ABOVE AND BEYOND response to a twisted ankle. A doctor came to my room at 9am the next morning. She prescribed an x-ray, a pain killer and an anti inflammatory. A driver from the Inn drove me to the x-ray clinic and pharmacy. 31/2 hours later I was back in my room with a written report from the x-ray clinic (no broken bones) and the meds. What service!!!!

We just got home from an absolutely wonderful long weekend at the Jamaica Inn. We had heard great things about this hotel from friends and everything about it exceeded our expectations. It was immaculately clean, the food delicious and the staff were so warm & attentive. We are already looking forward to a return visit hopefully sooner rather than later. First time in Jamaica and this place comes highly recommended and did not disappoint. The friendliest staff the vibe is more house party than hotel Spectacular setting with its own beach and secluded grounds. Fine dining and five star service. We had uneven weather which was a disappointment. Windy every day which meant snorkelling wasn’t really an option, cloudy water and choppy seas. A very busy main road is behind the hotel so an evening stroll has its limitations. Jamaican drivers take no prisoners But all in all this is certainly up there with the best

This was out 8th Jan visit and once again we really enjoyed our stay. Of note on this visit is that I thought the food had improved, particularly in the main restaurant. We ate in every night, bar one, when we made our usual visit to the excellent nearby Italian restaurant, PGs Toscanini. The beach restaurant tables have a different evening menu to the main restaurant providing a variety of choice onsite, including tasty pizzas. The staff were as friendly and professional as usual and it is good to see such low turnover. A shout out to the regular beach guys and two new additions, Xavier and Ian. Also Samantha is a great addition to the waiting staff - so friendly and cheerful. Our regular housekeeper Nicole was as thorough and as friendly as ever. Thanks to the staff on the front desk including the ever smiling Kingsley and office staff including Guest Services manager Miss Sherlene who regularly tours the beach to make sure everything is ok with guests (and the new team member Gilbert) plus not forgetting Gerry in reservations too. Finally I should mention Gray and Alvin do a great job running the restaurants. One big difference with this location compared to when we used to go to Barbados is the beach is private and you don't get a stream of hawkers hassling you to buy stuff. It's very private with ample sun beds so people don't feel the need to rush out at dawn to reserve one. Also I recommend asking the Jamaica Inn front desk directly to arrange a taxi collection from (to) the airport as I heard stories this year from other guests of taxis arranged through travel agents not turning up, which is the last thing you need after a 9 hour flight. All in all a very relaxing enjoyable visit. Thank you again

This was our 8th visit in 8 years and it just gets better every year. The gardens looked so lush and were beautifully maintained by the hard-working Inn team. We also thought the food in the restaurant was better than ever with some really tasty appetisers added to the menu both in the main dining room and the open air grill - the grill was a stroke of genius - packed every lunch and evening and offering a more chilled feet-in-the- sand dining experience. As many have said, the staff really enhance your experience at the Inn. Love the beach guys and Xavier and Ian are both tremendous additions to team. Rooms kept beautifully clean as ever by the charming housekeeping staff. Thanks also to the dining room/bar staff - Gray, Alvin, Robert, Granville, Carter, Patrice, Lancelot, so many more (and I’m sorry I don’t know all your names) and of course the lovely Michaela who brightened up our breakfast every day. Already planning our next visit in 2026! I’ll miss my morning beach walks with Shadow.

Jamaica Inn is the most prefect home from home. Location is gorgeous, food and wine list very good, and the entire experience is something to savour! The attention to detail is exemplary and the staff are the very best. Attentive, friendly and very professional. Teddy’s bar is a gem, and the beach waitresses with the 11.00a.m. Planters Punch set you up for a peaceful and glorious day. Smiles from all the staff, who are dedicated to your enjoyment. Ashalene and Samatha deserve special mention for their friendly service, and the entire staff are first class. We are certainly coming back. It is a wonderful and special place.

This was our first visit to this wonderful hotel and we absolutely loved it. We will return… Wonderful beach, beautifully kept gardens and lovely rooms (we stayed in the Blue Cottage with a perfect view of the sea) The food and cocktails were delicious with regular updates to the menus, but the most important element was the staff, a wonderfully warm team of people. All fantastic but we would like to pay special thanks to Quade who looked after us so well, Samantha, Patrice, Mr Gray, Rodney, Gerry, Drea, Christopher, Winston and Miss Sherlene Also to thank the owners and MD. Eric,Belinda and Kyle who made us feel so welcome. Not forgetting the beautiful resident Labrador, Shadow who I think was walked around the beach by most guests by the end of our stay! The spa is incredible — the setting for our massages equally so, hovered over the ocean. Ann and Sharlene were excellent therapists. Would highly recommend. A very special place that we always can’t wait to return to … even when we just left!

Returning to Jamaica Inn is special, not least to meet up with old friends the Staff. This year there was a marked improvement in the gardens, they have always been well kept but now a joy. The beach is perfect , Chris and his staff make it special every day. Breakfast both on the balcony and in the restaurant was wonderful. We loved to be served by Robert & Makayla. Always a welcome with attentive service. Then during the day enjoy tempting drinks in Teddy’s bar. Loved the interaction with , Ashalene , Patrick & Williams. Great fun on the Croquet lawn as well. Lunch too was always a pleasure in Teddy’s Grill. The Pizzas were outstanding. In the evening enjoyed our drinks on the Terrace where the wonderful Patrice ensured that everything went well. With a smile to light up Jamaica. Todd the bars Manager too has made a difference . Perhaps our only disappointment were the meals in the Terrace Restaurant. Some were good but felt the quality did vary rather too much. Despite that the service was excellent with Grenville and of course Patrice always on hand to make sure you had a good evening. A big upside too is being able to enjoy dining with great live music under the stars. We enjoyed too a few meals at Teddy’s Grill in the evening. Very enjoyable although perhaps an updated menu might help. The rooms are old but well kept ours was beautifully looked after by Nichola. What a treasure. Over all another wonderful holiday in paradise. We will be back.

We have been coming here for over 20 years and it remains our favorite place to relax upon the unspoiled beauty of the inn and grounds. It maintains its dedication to providing luxury without over developing and commercializing its resort . The beach and ocean front is luxurious and private without loud music, and booze cruises ( thank goodness). The resort is serene and peaceful full of history. The staff and food are wonderful. We have stayed in many different room types at the resort and all are wonderful. This trip we stayed in cottage 3 which was an unbelievable accommodation - highly recommend . My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at Ocean Spa at Jamaica Inn! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and welcomed by Sheree and the team. We both enjoyed full body massages, and they were absolutely amazing—so soothing and exactly what we needed. Mu therapist, Azeeza was professional, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire experience. The spa itself is beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning our next visit. This hotel is so unique and is an amazing hotel destination and you are looked after from the moment you are picked up from the airport to when you leave. I will never forget the first look through the reception when first arriving to see an amazing view of the hotel and beach. An incredible team hosted us throughout our stay and we look forward to going back. Taking Shadow the lovely dog for a walk along the beach is a great home from home feel. Thoroughly recommend

From the moment we stepped onto the pristine grounds of the Jamaica Inn, we felt as if we had discovered a hidden paradise. It's hard to choose a favorite among the gracious hospitality of the staff, the perfect swimming beach, the complimentary cocktails, the scrumptious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, or the views from our well-appointed room with steps directly to the sand. A particular shout-out to Patrice and Sam for their warmth and attention to detail. And whatever you do, arrange for Oscar to drive you to and from the airport and wherever else you'd like to go. Oscar is the best!

Visit to Jamaica Inn will not disappoint. From the moment you arrive you realise you are in a very special place that maintains the highest standards. Location location location is amazing, the best private beach away from the larger hotels, walking out of your room onto the beach is something you get use to very quickly. All the staff make your stay one to remember and dive for your diary to re-book. All the staff are amazing, those in Teddy's bar, Patrick, Williams, Ash & Sam all go the extra mile to make your day have a smile. Xander and the lifeguard team make sure your beach set up is effortless. The weekly cocktail evenings are well worth attending with Tamar tempting her marvellous array of sweets to top off a great meal. Thanks also to CJ for picking us up from the airport and teaching us some Patwa along the way, everything certainly was Irie..
