The hotel staff was incredible, "service from the heart" and they really want you to be pampered and have a wonderful vacation. We especially loved the well appointed and massive gym run by Kimmie who is a great asset to this hotel. We also loved all of the fitness classes, the various beach options, pools and the food was great with such a variety of restaurants to choose from. The nightly entertainment was great and it was great to have adult only options when you wanted some kid-free zones.

My partner proposed to me and celebrated my birthday at this resort this month (Feb). It was nothing short of amazing. It was a candle lit dinner by the beach orchestrated by Desmond, Troy, chef sugar (Shanae) and our beautiful waitress Navisha. I hope this message reaches them because they really should know how amazing they are. World class service. Accommodating. Sincere. I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped foot inside the lobby. I genuinely felt like I stepped into a new reality where I was the most important person in the space. That’s how amazing the service was by every staff I encountered. If you’re thinking of booking a stay for a special occasion, let this review be the sign you’re looking for. Oh and how can I forget, THE FOOOODDDDDDD was sooooooo GOOOOD. I had a good steak for the first time in my life. Let me just leave that right there. Hopefully I can get married at this resort too. It would be perfect. Hyatt is by far the best hotel in St. James, book the stay. I promise, you won’t regret it.

My husband and I spent two weeks at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall in Montego Bay/Jamaica. We had a Jr Suite on the 3rd floor facing the ocean and our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and inviting. The bed had soft, luxurious linens and was welcoming and cozy.... we slept like babies. The facility was clean and everyone that worked there was friendly and helpful. Also, the food was plentiful and spectacular.....they had everything you could ever want. We did have a few concerns with our room when we first arrived (missing a balcony chair, shower dispensers not operable, etc). We notified the Manager, Russell Jackson and he immediately took action and remedied the situation! We were SO impressed with him. He followed up with a letter under our door informing us that everything had been addressed. Also, we would highly recommend the guided, Bamboo rafting trip. It's a slow river rafting excursion and we very much enjoyed it! We absolutely loved our trip and look forward to booking another visit next year!

The Hyatt Ziva Rose is a fantastic all-inclusive resort. Food is abundant and delicious. Choicez lives up to the name as anyone can find a great meal to have from the various choices: American, Jamaican, Pasta and select country tastes. Staff were all friendly and attentive, especially the bartenders. Shout out to Donjay who knew his customers and was fun behind the bar. The grounds of the resort are extremely well kept by the landscapers; the beaches are raked in the morning daily and the pools were very clean. The spa is a great way to relax. They have a cold plunge, steam room, sauna and hot tub, so you get to experience a few different types of remedies. The masseuse, Sharon, gave an excellent massage and really worked out the knots I had in my upper back. The adults only beach was a bit rocky walking in, but the family side was pretty much all sand. I really appreciate the way the resort crafted the jetty's as it made a nice, calm cove to swim in. Rooms were clean, spacious and were serviced daily, including restocking the fridge. My wife and I purchased the private dining experience on the beach and management went out of there way to ensure it was cleared for us and when they mean private, it was private. We had our own table and waiter for just us setup exactly to how I asked. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay and are considering a trip back with our 3 kids. If I had to pick a negative it would be the hallway carpet could be replaced, the dirty room service plates could be picked up earlier and maybe some paint on the exterior where there is weathering. Other than minor aesthetics, the Resort is well managed, has attentive & friendly staff and very clean. Don't hesitate to book Hyatt Ziva (or Zilara) Rose Hall for a wonderful all-inclusive vacation.

Poolside entertainment was excellent especially when Renaldo from entertainment was there he had a lot of poolside activities including fun workouts and just music. Coming from a manager's position in the states I think he should be promoted possibly in charge of the entertainment division. He would be a great team leader. Also our Butler Prince was spot on thanks for the great experience including my bellhop Carl.

My husband and I booked this trip for our 20th anniversary to get away just the 2 of us. We left our 3 kids with my parents to enjoy some time away. Overall, we enjoyed the beach, dining experiences/food options and the gym was great. The hotel was a bit out dated but that was fine. Our one major issue was the guests next to us that we're constantly fighting and yelling which completely soured our experience. The one guest was also screaming at security and on his balcony at other hotel guests for several hours. Security did not kick them out or try to move them elsewhere. We were told from management that we would be compensated for this disruption but have yet to receive this compensation. I filled out a loss prevention report for the disturbance and 8 days after our return, nobody conveniently remembers anything at the Ziva hotel. Expedia is trying to help me contact the hotel but now they are saying they don't have any notes on file. Unbelievable!! This should have been resolved upon check out. We expect better considering how much we spent on this vacation. Hopefully someone from management can contact me directly.
