Absolutely loved our quick Montreal getaway to Old Montreal! The hotel was perfectly located in the heart of Old Montreal, and walking sit ave to everything!! The hotel is beautiful, clean and quiet! The staff were so nice and made our stay even more enjoyable! Our rooms were ready early and overlooked a cute little courtyard! All in all it was a perfect weekend getaway!

Great location in the old city but it was a real challenge to get around given the huge snowstorm the day before we arrived. By day 5 post storm the sidewalks over to the metro still had 10” of snow. Very glad they had valet parking even though 42$C per...

Great location in the old city but it was a real challenge to get around given the huge snowstorm the day before we arrived. By day 5 post storm the sidewalks over to the metro still had 10” of snow. Very glad they had valet parking even though 42$C per day seemed a bit steep. The room was quiet and well appointed (nice sheets and pillows). The bathroom lighting was very dim (even the magnification mirror had a weak bulb). On the coldest two days the room did not warm up as much as we would have liked. The hallway near our room smelled a bit funky. Perhaps from all the wet footwear on the rugs. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Cleaning staff did excellent job. The a la carte breakfast at Mama C was delicious and the concierge was very helpful.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Nelligan for his birthday and the service was exceptional. Prior to our stay, concierge reached out to ask if there was anything they could do to make his birthday experience memorable upon arrival. The suite we booked was extremely spacious, with tons of light and amazing Le Labo products. Also a hot tub with jets, which was a treat. We had a complimentary bottle of champagne waiting for us and truly felt pampered in every way! Valet took care of our car right away and all of our luggage was brought up immediately. Also to mention, the hotel is located in the center of incredible restaurants and within a 5 minute walk to Rainspa, where we had a couples massage for a very affordable price. Really fantastic experience and the next time we are in Montreal we are absolutely staying here.

overall amazing hotel experience with a great attentive and courteous staff. room was very nice. windows are old so could use a little more soundproofing (we were on second floor). The staff did a great job helping us with luggage etc during very heavy snow fall.

We have wanted to stay at the Hotel Nelligan since walking past it during a visit to Montreal in September 2023. It is close to everything in Old Montreal. We arrived late on a snowy Sunday afternoon . Our check-in experience was smoothless, the staff person warned us about some renovations on the main floor of the hotel, but we barely noticed. Dinner our first night was at Mechant Boeuf. We enjoyed excellent food and service. I picked up coffee in the mornings at Mama C's and we enjoyed a delicious lunch there during our stay. The staff again were extremely attentive. The food and atmosphere were excellent. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Nelligan on our future trips to Montreal!

The hotel staff was Very nice and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent place! It was a convenient location for walking to restaurants and the riverfront area. The valet parking was also a nice amenity to have. Many restaurants in walking distance as well.

We loved the room, loved the restaurants, loved the staff. So helpful, especially Katrina. Jonathan was also great offering assistance before we even got there. The hotel is what we expected and more. We will definitely book again next time.

Excellent location, right in Old Montreal walkable to all great restaurants, pubs , shopping & Notre Dame. Room was spacious, loved the bed and comfy linens, bathroom nice size although could benefit from better lighting, upgraded toiletries and bigger towels. Service & Staff were terrific! Great location and a nice hotel but deeply disappointed that the hotel was under construction both inside and outside on the street. The property did not advise us at time of reservation or leading up to our stay. The hotel has ignored my subsequent communication about the situation.

Superior service and attention to guests needs. Willing staff available to answer questions and help solve issues. A surprise gift from the concierge was warm and gave us an appreciation of giving and receiving. Room was impeccably maintained and cared for

Three words describe our experience at the Hotel Nelligan: "Oh My God". All of our expectations, which were already high, were exceeded. The staff is welcoming, professional, courteous to a fault and extremely helpful. We'd like to single out Christopher and Roman in particular for making our check-in and check-out a joy. Thank you guys! It was our honeymoon so we stayed in the penthouse. Wow! We will never forget it. The room and deck were amazing. The bed was firm and luxurious and the bath was like an oasis. The nightly visits from housekeeping offering chocolate was a very nice touch. The housekeeping staff in general was unseen but their presence was always felt. We always returned to a room that was so much neater than we left it in the morning. Thank you! If you want a hotel in the heart of old Montreal that exudes charm and comfort, you can do no better than the Hotel Nelligan. One note, the elevators are slow but they get you there and when you get there, wow!

If we ever get the chance to return to Montreal…we will definitely stay here.

Stayed here at the end of our Canadian trip for one night only, and it was a fantastic ending to our holiday. Superb hotel with great staff and service to match. This hotel has great character and a service ethos that makes for a wonderful stay. We loved our comfortable, tastefully decoated room and we also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. I could go on! Would love to have stayed longer. Special mention to Bilal, who went out of his way to organise our transport back to the airport; he's a great ambassador for the hotel. Well done to all. Don't hesitate to stay here!

The hotel is great and well located. BUT: there are constructions everywhere (until 2026) around and the hotel itself is also going into construction (remodeling). So there is noise everywhere in the streets, people working inside the hotel, dust, equipment etc and THIS IS NOT ANNOUNCED IN THE HOTEL WEBSITE....

The hotel is great and well located. BUT: there are constructions everywhere (until 2026) around and the hotel itself is also going into construction (remodeling). So there is noise everywhere in the streets, people working inside the hotel, dust, equipment etc and THIS IS NOT ANNOUNCED IN THE HOTEL WEBSITE. We had the room 410 and were waken up at 5:58am with noise from the street everyday. Also, someone working in the hotel remodeling opened our room door by accident at 8am of our second night. We had a bad stay and would recommend guests to return to the hotel only after the city works are done and after the hotel remodeling is finished. And we suggest the hotel management to disclose in its website these conditions, we felt very much ripped off.

We can't say enough good things about this hotel. We stayed three nights in mid-March to visit Montreal and do some late season skiing in nearby Bromont. Rooms exceeded our expectations - very spacious and atmospheric with the exposed brick walls. Staff was exceptionally attentive with a strong client service ethic. When we reported some noise issues in our first room, the staff immediately offered to move us to a quieter room. I could cite many other examples where staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
