The hotel is elegant, cozy and sophisticated. It’s located close to the city center, it has a heated pool and a small private beach with view on the wonderful gulf.
There is also a restaurant with tables on the terrace.
Staff and housekeeping are impeccable, friendly, and efficient.
There is a small free parking, very handy because parking in Ajaccio is a nightmare. If you want to go to town you'd better walk or take a taxi but I wouldn't drive there.
They have high standards and our stay was very enjoyable.

We stayed here on our last night in Corsica. Check-in and parking were a breeze and Cecilia made every effort to help us and show us around. The hotel is like going back in time, not dated, just seems like an old Hollywood or South of France hotel back in the 1950’s or 1960’s. The decor in the lobby was beautiful, the corner bar was quaint with a great assortment of liquors, beers, and wines, and the restaurant/swimming pool area were right on the sea with beautiful views of Ajaccio and the gulf. There is plenty of seating by the pool. Staff were attentive on getting drinks for us, if needed. The swimming pool was saltwater straight from
the gulf and warmed to a comfortable temperature. The jacuzzi was warm.
We had a small corner hotel room that was small but comfortable. The room was nice but may be due for a makeover soon. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked great. The bathroom was completely updated. The only two problems we could find were the bathtub had poor drainage and there was some hair on the floor from previous guests. Normally the hair on the floor would be an automatic one star deduction, but the rest of the hotel was just so awesome that it was hard for me to deduct a point here.
We didn’t have dinner here, we opted to walk to the old town, a 25 minute walk away. We did have the breakfast for 29 Euro, and it was fabulous. The breads, cheeses, meats, homemade yoghurt, omelettes, fruits were all fantastic and we didn’t have to eat another meal until dinner. Checkout was at 12 pm, wished we could have stayed longer before we departed to the airport.
Overall a wonderful stay.

My husband stayed here for a month many years ago at the age of 13 as a guest of the former owners who had a 13 year old son. He always wanted to return and take me. This hotel did not disappoint! This is a very special place. We stayed during the “shoulder season” in the second week of June before rates climb for the season. For a splurge, ask for room 19. The cozy room and bathroom with tub are nicely appointed. The star of the show is the terrace that looks out over the Mediterranean and has a sitting area and a bed (!) where you can lay and look out at the view. We enjoyed our breakfasts that included various sweet breads and croissants plus eggs, fresh fruit, granola and more. A dinner we had at the restaurant was very good but pricey. The service overall was excellent. We’d love to return someday!

Les Mouettes is truly one of "Les Grands Maisons Corses". We stayed for 2 nights, and this was one of the highlights of our trip to Corsica.
Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The views are stunning. The service is impeccable.
Reliable wifi has apparently not come to Corsica as yet. I had to occasionally shift position to get a decent signal. However, this is only a minor irritant.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and ensured our stay was memorable and enjoyable.

Lovely setting right on the beach with nice large balconies to enjoy the view. The pool is nice and there is a little beach. The rooms are on the small side, but the bathrooms are nice and the balcony is fabulous (we had Room 18 with a huge balcony). There are some restaurants in about 10 to 15 min walk. The hotel also offers free parking. Breakfast at the hotel is served on the terrace for 30Euro/pp.
Dinner at the hotel is not recommended. It was the most expensive meal we had in our travels of 2 weeks and the most disappointing.

We had a brief 1-night stay in this historic property with 27 rooms, some, like ours with gorgeous sea views and patios. Located right on the water, it is possible to walk to the nondescript old town of Ajaccio in about 30 minutes by simply following the broad path along the sea.
We were in room 27, which had a large patio, awesome undated bathroom, large living room plus another room with a king bed. So much space and all of it with killer views. A couple of bottles of water were provided along with high end bath amenities.
Things to note: there is no elevator and many rooms are on the 2nd or third floor. Also there is an onsite gastronomy restaurant (I.e. artful food, foam and crazy high prices). While they claim a private beach, depending on the wind, waves and tides it might be only a few feet wide. Some of the staff spoke English but not everyone.
Our stay was comfortable and I enjoyed an hour in the sun on our great patio and the amazing views although this stay was our most expensive by far given my splurge for one of the top rooms. In late September it was over 700€.

We had a sea / pool / pm tree facing room which was a very good size with everything we could ever have wanted.
We had dinner and breakfast on the terrace and it is just spectacularly beautiful.
It is a peaceful and gorgeous place. If you are going to Ajaccio you must stay here.

We spent 3 nights in this nice hotel and we just loved it!
We booked a room with sea/pool view and had a nice terrace, ideal place to get our breakfast in the morning.
We could hear a child running the first evening and morning and told the staff at Reception and it didn’t happen again.
The size of the pool is perfect, nice and comfy deck chairs around , great view overlooking the sea, Ajaccio on the left hand side and Porticcio on the other side of the golfe, beautiful
The small beach was never crowded even mid August
The bicycles free to borrow from Réception are ideal to cycle to town (or 20 min pleasant walk) and even to the Pointe Parata to watch the stunning Sanguinaires island (35 min)
In the evening, the restaurant A Terrazza is a must and deserves a Michelin star, don’t forget to book to make sure you’ll get a table.
For breakfast you can choose between continental (16€) or buffet (21€) All with very good and local products
The choice for lunch is not that wide but still great food, delicious and tasty.
The staff is young, friendly, sometimes not focused but always trying its best.
A really nice place where we just wish to go back.
