Hotel La Casa De Marita

This is a nice hotel and the room was very spacious - we stayed in one of the rooms on the other side of the road. Bathroom amenities are a bit limited though. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! It's in a good location too.

This was our hotel base for our 4-night stay while on Isabela. Our room “Mango” was on the first floor (note: there are no lifts in the property) to the rear of the hotel and had a good sized balcony with seating and a hammock and excellent views of the beach and ocean. Our room had a King-sized bed, plenty of space for clothes, there was aircon and a plug in Mosquito unit which we were advised to use. There was no safe although valuables could be left in the safe in reception. There was also no tea/coffee but filtered water was provided each day. The shower was good with a basic level of toiletries provided, there was also a hairdryer. The downside to the room is it is directly below the restaurant and it was noisy from furniture being dragged around from early in the morning and during the evening meals. The hotel itself is well situated being less than a ten minute walk in one direction to the port and in the other to the town. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even when we had to leave at 5am in the morning a friendly night porter provided a coffee to wake us up.

My husband and I had a lovely 4 night stay at La Casa De Marita. We had a fantastic room with a great view of the beach/ocean that we enjoyed from our balcony complete with hammock. The breakfast was very nice and we also enjoyed the one dinner we had there - the restaurant is on the 3rd floor and has a great view. They also serve tapas/wine and drinks on their first floor patio right on the beach. Great cocktails with happy hour prices! The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The hotel is just outside of the main area of town (6-8 minute walk) and also very close to the port. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay on Isabela. It is perfectly situated on the beach, a stone's throw away from the town center. Service throughout the stay was excellent. The breakfast offered was reasonable. We did not try their restaurant outside of this.

Great place! OUTSTANDING!!! We are highly recommended. The service was amazing, such a warm welcoming and atmosphere. Very nice, clean and comfortable. Hosts are very friendly. Breakfast was very good with many choices. Good Wi-Fi. Great location. Couple from New York.

Weirdly they moved our bed around the room after our first night! Thought we had gone in the wrong room. Bar service was slow but did good mojito and pisco sour. Only complaint was the lack of atmosphere. Think the hotel was fairly empty but we were the only people at breakfast and at the one dinner we had there. Dinner was nice , a bit more expensive than in town but not hugely so. Some items on menu were expensive and it says it is fine dining. Our meal was very nice but I wouldn’t call it fine dining

We stayed at the hotel 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Quiet and clean rooms. Ate at restaurant 3 of 4 nights and wished would have tried our first night as food was excellent. Nicely priced and great portions… the food had tons of flavor and freshness! Highly recommend this place.!

Stayed here for an enjoyable break in February. Hotel is well situated, on the beach and within easy walking distance from the bars/restaurants. Ocean view suite nicely finished, very spacious, kept very clean with good views of the beach. Good size balcony with hammock and sunbed for relaxing. Breakfast was typical buffet but adequate. Staff are friendly and professional. Just one or two odd things: 1. We came back to the hotel about midday on one occassion and asked for some coffee but were told it was finished. Think the right response could have been 'we will make some' 2. They have a bar with a number of spirits displayed on shelves behind. We asked for Gin but they would not serve it despite the the bottle being there. Why show drinks to your guests that you won't let them have ? Maybe a bit nitpicking but just seemed a bit strange. Other than that this is a good hotel and worth staying at if you are on Isabella.

We stayed here during our island hopping in the Galapagos. Nice room. Great breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. We enjoyed a beautiful Christmas dinner here too. The hotel is right on the beach with everything just a short walk away. The bed was comfortable. There was AC. Overall a great stay.
