We loved our 3 nights at this hotel and would return if we were in the area again. Staff: Everyone we met was awesome. Joselin gave us a great welcome. Maria at breakfast was super attentive and sweet. And we appreciated the ride to the ferry from another one of the staff. Balcony: We loved having the balcony to hang out on and also to hang our laundry. We appreciated the built-in hammock and the built-in laundry drying rack. A/C: Unlike other air conditioners we encountered during our trip, this hotel had a great unit that kept us super comfortable. Breakfast: The included breakfast was super tasty, with a variety of breads, fresh cut fruits, and eggs made on-demand, plus coffee, tea, juice, etc. We also appreciated that the staff was willing to start breakfast early for our early-morning scuba dive departures. Water: We loved having free, open access to the purified water units. We drink a lot of water (and the water from the tap isn’t potable) so we appreciated access to fill up whenever we needed. Laundry: The laundry service was super straight-forward ($1 per pound, plus $1 for delivery) and came back well cleaned and folded. There is no self-service laundry. Or if you wanted to really save that last dollar on delivery, there’s a laundromat just across the block. Bathroom: The bathroom, like almost all bathrooms we’ve encountered on the islands, was semi-airtight. You had to open the window to air out the humidity or smells.But we didn’t see any bugs coming in through the bathroom screen window, so it was ok. Pick-up: We also appreciated the easy-to-book taxi pickup after the airport. From Baltra, we took the ~10 min bus, then the ferry that crosses the channel (~10 min), and then the taxi driver was there to meet us. It sounds complicated, but the majority of air travelers are doing the same thing, so it isn’t too hard to understand what has to happen.

As you leave the bus(y)ness of Puerto Ayora, you enter this beautiful oasis called Hotel Galapagos Suites. This is my second time visiting here and, this time, my partner and I stayed for a week. Joseline and her daughter have built this special place with love. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. Breakfasts made by either Joseline or Douglas, in the tranquility of the garden, were a wonderful treat. The hotel team goes the extra mile (and more) to make reservations and recommendations to make your visit memorable. I have stayed in countless B&B’s, Inns, hotels etc throughout my travels and this place is in my Top 3 in the world. I would love to come back and stay a third time. This place is magical and has left us with wonderful memories again. Thanks!!!!

We arrived at the hotel where Josie showed us our rooms, we were with friends who had the 1st floor two room and we had the 2nd floor double room! They were all delightful and it made our evening when we had a beautiful sunset over the steps leading to our room. The staff helped with our suitcases and we prepared to go out in the town after Josie gave us directions. Very easy to find and the hotel was quiet during the night. Breakfasts were self service, delicious and plentiful! The yogurt was good and Josies cake- yummy! Thank you for a lovely stay!

I stayed at the Galapagos Hotel Suites pre-cruise (4 nights) and post-cruise (2 nights). Joseline and Douglass could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Immediately upon entry felt welcomed. Rooms (I had 2 different rooms for the different stays) were large, very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were so fresh and tasty and really great start to the day. Joseline and the team accommodated different arrangements, taxis and even an early check in - everything was so simple and easy to communicate and always greeted with a smile. What a lovely place to stay and enjoy Santa Cruz Island. Thank you so much Joseline and Douglas for such a wonderful stay.

Good location; in a quiet street, but at walking distance from restaurants. Spacious room with comfortable bed and balcony. Very friendly hosts and good breakfast served on an outside patio. Recomendations for trips. Good value for money. Highly recommended!

All the little things travelers need are in place. Great bathroom with plenty of shelf space, small line outside on patio to hang wet suits, good light for night time reading, it was a very comfortable room. Breakfast was perfect amount and healthy! The fine touches were also appreciated such as the art that was chosen for the room and common area and in the yard area there were labels explaining about the native plants. All staff were friendly and easy to approach. Just a great stay.

I highly recommend Galapagos Suites - central location minutes from the main main street, the rooms are spotless, does great breakfast, all run by a friendly host. This place is a masterclass of how B&Bs should be run. Hats off to Joseline and the team!

The place was absolutely immaculate. Great rooms, great staff, great breakfast and the perfect location. Cannot fault it in any way. It has a wonderful balcony and hammock which was just bliss. Would very highly recommend great value for money.

We loved our two stays at Galapagos Suites. Breakfast was freshly made for us each morning, and Joseline and Douglas were able to arrange any activities or transfers for us, including to and from the airport. (Transfers in the Galapagos are a major piece of the puzzle, so a good hotel/organizer makes everything easier). Location was great - walkable and quiet. I appreciated Douglas's communication to track our arrivals & departures successfully. (Also: Joseline's home-made brownies are A+)

Stayed 8 years ago, and returned to a warm welcome. Family run, immaculately clean, all facilities, great aircon, balcony with hammock and clothes rack. Fridge/freezer available to share on landing outside. Short walk from town centre, quiet, secure and cosy. Breakfast freshly cooked and filling. Thank you Joseline! Highly recommend.
