Pretty and quiet hotel away from downtown - no wifi in rooms
We stayed four nights in an accessible room because it was the only one left. The pool area and grounds are very pretty. The room was large, but very basic. Seemed odd to not have towel hooks or toilet paper holders. We had a private patio with table and chairs...
We stayed four nights in an accessible room because it was the only one left. The pool area and grounds are very pretty. The room was large, but very basic. Seemed odd to not have towel hooks or toilet paper holders. We had a private patio with table and chairs and a place to put wet clothes which was nice. The breakfast was 12 euros so we opted to walk to town which was only a 5 min walk. Wifi is not in the rooms so we spent time by the pool when we needed to which also seemed odd. But, the staff were very nice and the room was clean. Plenty of parking too. The bed was comfortable and there was a huge closet.

Reasonable 3 star with good facilities - except the wifi

We stayed in a studio for 4 nights which gave us access to the small lock off kitchenette facility (3 night min stay to use or additional charge). This included a two ring elec hob, fridge, sink, microwave.
The room was OK although a little tired and dated. It had a walk in tiled shower, and dining table and chairs but no comfortable seating. Instead there was a pull out trundle bed to enable the room to accommodate 4. Outside there was a small terrace wiith an uncomfortable steel table and chairs.
The WiFi was very poor which was a disappointment as we were relatively close to reception. There was also insufficient parking so we often had to park out back on the road.
More positively the hotel buildings are very attractive, built of natural stone and there is an excellent new pool with loungers. There is also a small gym, a hot tub, outside bar and vending machine for snacks, so good facilities for a 3 star.
Location is also good. Quiet but only 5 mins walk from the centre.
Whilst not exceptional or especially memorable, overall, satisfactory and reasonable value for money.

We had a studio with terrace room, which was very spacious and well equipped. It would have been better if there had been a cover for the duvet, and a proper sized duvet, ( and there was nothing provided for the third person), and more comfortable outside seating.
Breakfast was ten euros each and was well worth it.
Car parking is debatable: there are two car parks, and the better of the two is the one accessed from the road signed to the gendarmerie. Both car parks do get over full, but you can park on the road leading to the gendarmerie.
Really comfortable sunloungers by the pool, but canopies for the shade need to be mended.
Staff seem to be selective in their welcome and helpfulness. I can fully understand why some reviewers have noted poor staff attention, and others have said great welcome. I think they blow hot and cold......
37 rooms apparently, and always full in September apparently.......so book early should you wish to stay here!

I loved staying here. A very easy walk into town away from noise, the property is like an oasis. Very attractive courtyards and the pool is open early to late. I wish I had more occasion to take advantage of it but our itinerary was packed. Several nice areas to sit outside or lounge, it would have also been nice to have an apero here. Parking can be tight but you can park on the back street and it isn’t an issue. The breakfast has a good variety. I thought I’d read that it wasn’t free, but the cost wasn’t mentioned at check-in or in their literature. I think it was about 10€ a day. If I’d known, I would have eaten a lot more to get my money’s worth! A small gym area is available but I didn’t see what equipment was in it. Very nice and peaceful, plenty of storage in a spacious room. The bed was very comfortable. Absolutely recommended.

Nice pool, funny that pets are allowed, there was an older lady with her very little puppy, quite cute. The breakfast was traditional and simple, but hearty.
Nice, and simple hotel!

The hotel is fabulous and has been expertly refurbished from what was, presumably, previously farm buildings.
The room was lovely with a small sitting area out front. Perhaps the only fault if I am being picky is that it could do with a small fridge. You can get cold drinks from the bar or a machine but a fridge would have made our stay perfect.
The pool was great and just the thing for a refreshing dip after a walk from the centre of town.
As has been mentioned it is a little walk from the town, but only 300 yards I would judge.

We have just returned from a week staying at this lovely hotel in Ille Rousse. With its stone cladding this low rise building looked as if it belonged deep in the countryside.
We had a very warm welcome from Francois who made us very feel at home. Our room was spacious and airy and well equipped. It was kept very clean. The huge bed was comfortable and we slept like babies .
Staff were very helpful when we wanted to hire a car.
I loved the relaxed buffet breakfasts and I shall miss the delicious pains au raisins and other vienoisserie . They were such good quality. Plenty of choice available.
I was sorry to leave this morning. I would heartily recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.

We received a first class welcome from Francois who had kindly waited for our extremely delayed arrival (by ferry from Nice) at 11.30pm. He took our bags to our room and was the perfect host. The room was wonderful; large, air-conditioned and very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of options. 10 or so minutes walk to town means you are close enough but still in a quiet and peaceful area. A fridge in the room and a more regular change of towels would make this already lovely hotel even better. Take the train to Calvi for the day and enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful views of the coastline en route.
