Hotel Boutique Eden Costa

We had a fabulous time here with wonderful hospitality and super friendly staff. We were pleased to be here and enjoyed the entire visit in Huatulco. Super relaxing, great food and met friendly people - visitors and ex-pats.

Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is outstanding. Approx 1.5km to town Very walkable. Hotel is quite, good air conditioning and nice pool. The hotel restaurant serves and excellent burger mid day. We have been very pleased. Staff all very helpful

Beautiful cozy hotel. Close to grocery store, restaurants and beach. Hotel has it's own restaurant and fruit in breakfast was fresh and delicious. They also have a butter with fruit and it was also great. Excellent customer service and loved the pool. Coming back next year.

Following a four day stay, after checkout, we were loading our bags into a cab. An Eden Costa employee came to us and said we had not paid for our stay and that we needed to make payment. We showed him our documentation from the travel booking website (we luckily...

Following a four day stay, after checkout, we were loading our bags into a cab. An Eden Costa employee came to us and said we had not paid for our stay and that we needed to make payment. We showed him our documentation from the travel booking website (we luckily had a printed copy) indicating we had paid in full at time of booking (we booked/paid May 2018 and our stay was January 2019). He said we had to go into the office. We did so and showed them our proof of payment. They said they had not received payment from that company and that we had to pay for our stay - to which we responded the situation sounded like their problem with that company, not us. We pointed out that the documentation said paid in full (right down to a graphic that is meant to look like it was ink-stamped “paid”). We refused to pay - for a second time - and they insisted we must. At that point we left, leaving the printed documentation with them so they could investigate more thoroughly - with about four people looking at us like we were thieves! (We have credit card records showing we indeed made payment to booking.com in May 2018.) Basically we should have gone by our initial instincts after booking this accommodation. When we booked it, we paid in full, and received a confirmation number. A few weeks after this, we were contacted by the hotel via email. Apparently the room we booked had two beds in it, and they had someone else who wanted that room and we would be placed in a room with one bed. If this did not work for us we could pay more for a different room, or they could suggest other hotels. We really should have cancelled at that point - hindsight is 20/20! We would not recommend this hotel based on the booking experience and the very negative departure experience.

This hotel is a little gem in paradise. Eden is ran by a couple that is just incredible and they make sure you have the best possible time in huatulco. After you check in you will always be greeted by someone by your first name which is just so homy....

This hotel is a little gem in paradise. Eden is ran by a couple that is just incredible and they make sure you have the best possible time in huatulco. After you check in you will always be greeted by someone by your first name which is just so homy. The rooms are super cozy and have a personal touch most other hotels lack. This place is definitely worth checking out if you plan on staying in a central location in huatulco. The people are just super friendly and their adjacent restaurant has the most incredible food around. You have to try the leek creme fish and their raspberry creme brûlée.

We walked into Eden Costa after our booked accommodation at a different hotel turned out to be unacceptable. Eden Costa was a lovely oasis with charming hosts and friendly smiling staff. The rooms were clean and well equipped- we had a kitchenette with everything we needed to prepare breakfast and lunches. The location is excellent- 15 minute walk to plaza, 10 minute walk to beach, and a few steps to a SuperChe. We stayed for 2 weeks and felt very lucky to have found such a lovely place.

Our experience at Hotel Posada Eden Costa in Huatulco was a pleasant and restful experience. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed the fresh sheets and towels everyday. The beds were a bit too hard but that is Mexico; foam toppers would be helpful. The restaurant was a delight with a French chef. We found that it was possible with the small kitchen to cook up some wonderful seafood meals. We sat outside one of the suites by the pool for all our meals that we ate at the hotel. We enjoyed being just outside the busy Crucecita area and the taxis to the various beaches were cheap. Many of the hotel patrons were Mexican which we appreciated so I could practice my Spanish.

Thank you to Thierry, Lina, and staff for a wonderful week. This hotel provides an authentic Mexican experience, unlike the generic all-inclusive stay. Staff were helpful and extremely friendly. Chef Filo produced superb meals night after night and Beto was the ultimate professional bartender and waiter. Beach was a short walk away and the pool was great for a refreshing dip after a day at the beach. Grocery store nearby for snacks and drinks. We toured a few of the other higher end hotels in the Chahue area and decided we would definitely return for the welcoming atmosphere at Posada Eden on another trip.
