Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

Drove down from Singapore for some business meeting and my wife was happy to accompany, relaxing and shopping. Centrally located - 5 minutes from KLCC Suria - the staff were friendly and courteous, and the room decor was very nice and we enjoyed our stay here very much.

My wife and I had an excellent 3 night stay at the Grand Hyatt KL. It is situated in the heart of KLCC with nearby access to KLCC park. We booked a Deluxe Room (Tower View). Our room 2409 was stunning with floor to ceiling windows giving a view of the Petronas Towers and the park with its nightly fountain light show. It was one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. Check in was on the top floor Sky Lobby so you have to go up to go down, which is fine once you worked out which elevators to use. As World of Hyatt members we had the benefit of the extensive buffet breakfast in the large restaurant on Floor 38. All the restaurant staff were very attentive, and I would like to make a particular mention for Aliah who was delightful. The location of the hotel was good for getting around KL once we had worked out the way to get on to the network of footbridges and tunnels which allow you to get around the city during the inevitable heat and afternoon storms. In different directions we could get to KLCC park with the Suria Mall, Petronas Towers visitor centre, and Aquaria (which is well worth a visit). You can also walk further undercover to get to the Pavilion Mall and the Bukit Bintang area. It is quite easy to lose your sense of direction in KL but we soon got used to finding our way around. The twin towers were a very helpful landmark. The team at the ground floor entrance lobby were very helpful in getting me on to the Grab app (SE Asia’s version of Uber) which was the easiest way to get around. We used this for a visit to the Batu Caves. The outdoor swimming pool area on the 2nd floor was very nice and we were able to use the facilities to freshen up after checking out before heading to KLIA for a late night flight. This was our first visit to KL and we were very pleased that we chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt.

Great level of service from lovely staff. Awesome breakfast, incredible view from lobby and restaurant. Stayed in quite a few kl hotels and enjoyed this one the most. Conveniently located next to klcc — just a shame no direct access to park, you have to walk a few 100 meters...

Conveniently located next to klcc — just a shame no direct access to park, you have to walk a few 100 meters on pavement, but being kl pavement is rubbish and cars come first.

One of the standout features was the buffet breakfast included with our stay. There were so many varieties! they even have a fresh fruit juice bar! The staff was friendly and knowlegeable.
