Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center

I have nothing to complain about. Beautiful. The balconies looking out over the conservatory, incredible. Pricy. Checkin was brief (we checked in on our phone). Nice restaurant choices. Good coffee. Clean. Lots of spots to sit and enjoy.

I’ve stayed at all the Gaylord properties, including this one in the past. I’d have to suggest to anyone considering this hotel to go stay at a newer hotel in downtown over this one. The rooms are very, very old and dated. Drab and really need a renovation. The shower...

I’ve stayed at all the Gaylord properties, including this one in the past. I’d have to suggest to anyone considering this hotel to go stay at a newer hotel in downtown over this one. The rooms are very, very old and dated. Drab and really need a renovation. The shower had no hot water, sink facets in poor repair, furniture worn and dinged up, rusting around the shower. Low ceilings with cheap ceiling tiles on them, other areas with popcorn ceilings. The linens are old and worn down - I had nicer towels from Target in college. For $450 a night, plus a resort charge, plus parking… it’s not worth it. You can stay in the new Four Seasons for the same price and have a superb experience. This is less than mediocre at best. Thankful we only chose to stay one night.

We stayed there at the recommendation of a friend and we wanted to see the Ice 'thing', and it was right next door, so...There are tons of places to walk inside: restaurants, bars, gift shops. You can take a boat ride through it, which we didn't. We got lost a couple of times. A security guard helped us and he was awesome, but...It's an experience for sure if that's what you want. I'd recommend finding a map and/or an app with a map. You'll need it to find your way.

When I addressed the issue , the front desk refused to take responsibility for their oversight, leaving me feeling undervalued as a guest and a Titanium Member. Additionally, the room was outdated and in need of a makeover. This doesn’t align with the premium pricing of the resort. While the property’s aesthetics are impressive, the lack of accountability overshadowed the positives.
