We have stayed in all of Alejandro's hotels and Villas. This may be our favorite interior hotel. His flare for old world decor and comfort is impeccable. Located in the romantic zone close to all of our favorite places. Shopping along the river, vendors. Shop and rest at the Vallarta factory for lunch and cocktails. Across the river from The LaBistro, one of our favorite resteraunts. Oscars and the River Cafe. Short walk to the beach and the Malecon. At night you can hear the jazz music from there, add a glass of wine on your balcony. The ambiance is perfection. We're older, the staff was always attentive. Helped with the stairs. No worries at all, just soaking in the attention and pampering.

Nice restaurants wuthin 5 minutes walk. The Q+ village is 4 blocks away but quiet in our room at night. Room - Juliette - was quiet, specious, big shower, balcony and common balcony. No issues with the plumbing e.g. toilet. AC worked great. Really comfortable king bed. Safe in room. Open honour system bar - never saw that before. Friendly playful cute mascot cat. There is a beatiful sister property 4 blocks away that guests have access too. It has nice roof top bar views. Only concern is smoking is allowed on property : (

Staff are all friendly and helpful. I was a little concerned with the very modest and nondescriptive main entrance. However, just like many Mexican properties, there may be a paradise behind the nondescriptive apparence outside. The location is great, yet not noisy at night. The shared kitchen and dinning area...

The shared kitchen and dinning area are great if you are in the mood to prepare some meals yourselves.

I had such a nice experience at this place! Great atmosphere with unique style and comfort. I loved the cozy bed. Delicious breakfast with a gorgeous river view! Great location near everything, restaurants, bars, shopping, market, etc. Definitely will come back!

Garlands is a beautiful hotel in the heart of PV. It’s walking distance to everything made shopping and night life so easy and fun. The decor and gorgeous interior was exactly what I was hoping for giving us a true authentic feel of Mexico. I had a deep tissue massage in my room that was the first of many to actually relieve my shoulder pain. It was amazing!! They greeted us with guac and margaritas that were so good I still try to beat it at home! The staff was so hospitable and always greeted us with a smile. You can’t beat this kind of service and atmosphere! I highly recommend!
