We love this hotel. The facility is beautiful. The staff is excellent. The breakfast is appealing. The free wine and cheese and cookies are a great evening treat every day. The breakfast buffet has two hot items (such as scrambled eggs and potatoes), assorted pastries, fruit, berries, overnight oatmeal, granola, etc. There are self-serve M&Ms and jelly beans available 24 7. The whole hotel is a treat.

Everything about this place was top tier.....friendly and helpful valet (shoutout to Mathew), easy and quick check in, beautiful room (stayed in 102 off the lobby), amazing and super professional staff, 24 hour coffee/tea and plentiful breakfast, snack, etc.....and fantastic location. Everything about this place was top tier.....friendly and helpful valet (shoutout to Mathew), easy and quick check in, beautiful room (stayed in 102 off the lobby), amazing and super professional staff, 24 hour coffee/tea and plentiful breakfast, snack, etc.....and fantastic location. If possible, try to stay on the lobby floor so you will have easier access to the food / coffee, etc......though you may want to stay on the side closer to the check-in desk, as it is a bit more secluded and quiet (we did not, but it was fine anyway) Just stay here and stop looking anywhere else..... We recently stayed at the French Quarter Inn for our 46th anniversary.Outstanding service from the valet “Jay”, guest room attendant “Carisma”, lobby bar “Alex” and all the staff at the front desk, exceptional! The general manager Carlo Carroccia”surprised us with an anniversary card and bottle of champagne, waiting in our room! I can’t say enough about this 5 star inn. I loved the entire atmosphere. We didn’t use our car at all. Everything we wanted to do or visit was within walking distance. I wish I could return every year. We travel frequently, but this Inn exceeded our expectations! Please don’t hesitate to book this Inn, you won’t regret it! Thank you for a memorable experience 🙂!

We stayed at the French Quarter Inn for our honeymoon and the experience was amazing! From the minute we pulled up, valet was there to assist in taking our luggage to the room and parking our car all while we went to check in. When we checked in and went up to our room there were gifts and treats awaiting us, including a card from the general manager for our special occasion. The amenities this hotel offer are part of what makes it so special; complimentary breakfast, wine and cheese, and warm cookies and milk. The turn down service, and housekeeping kept our room so well kept and all the staff was friendly. The location of the hotel was honestly perfect. We could walk wherever it was we wanted to go for meals, exploring or shopping and it made it easy to pop back in whenever we needed to take a break or freshen up. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a great hotel. The location is awesome and the staff is very friendly. You get a lot of value for the money. The complimentary breakfast, happy hour and warm cookies and milk made the hotel even better. The booking and reservation system was easy to work with.

I cannot praise the French Quarter Inn enough. They have thought of every single detail to exude southern hospitality and charm. The breakfast, the drinks, cocktail hour, housekeeping…. even milk and cookies before bed …amazing. We slept like babies as the bed and pillows were perfect! They even had complimentary perfume which was a great air freshener… Our room was straightened and restocked every morning and evening… bottled water, tea, coffee, seltzers always available. They really went above and beyond!!

This is by far my favorite hotel in all my travels! We stayed here in 2021 & loved it so much, we booked another trip with friends just to let them experience it for themselves. Our most recent stay was in January 2025 & French Quarter Inn did not disappoint....

Our most recent stay was in January 2025 & French Quarter Inn did not disappoint. They execute all the details with perfection & add in little extras like champagne at check-in, nightly happy hours, turn-down service, the opportunity for their complimentary breakfast to be delivered to your room & my husband’s favorite, milk & cookies before bed. Every single staff member is warm & inviting. On this visit, the housekeeping staff, Susan & Karen, went out of their way to make us feel at home. Alex in the lobby bar was also great! He made a specialty cocktail just for our group. I highly recommend staying at this property if your travels bring you to Charleston, or better yet, book a trip to Charleston just to stay here!

I wanted to celebrate my birthday in Charleston, so we booked a beautiful double room with a balcony at the French Quarter Inn. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was large and lovely. The staff were friendly. Amenities include complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres in the lobby bar in the evening. There is a very delicious breakfast served in the morning which is complementary also. Great location with plenty of restaurants and bars near by to choose from. I’ll stay here again on my next trip to Charleston.

The French Quarter Inn is our go-to place to stay whenever we visit Charleston. We decided to do a little winter get-away this year and once again, FQI did not disappoint. The room was beautiful, spacious, and spotless and the bed was comfortable. There were Deep Steep products in the bathroom. We enjoyed their clean citrusy scent. As always, we enjoyed the food offerings (breakfast, afternoon cheese, meat, snacks, and wine,) fresh-baked cookies and milk at night, and chocolate for the turn-down service. This was our fourth visit and we feel FQI has upped its food game, especially at breakfast - hot eggs and a fresh-baked offering (one day it was a cheese and chive popover, the next blueberry muffins) along with all the other continental breakfast offerings. We also really enjoyed the lovely fireplace and spent many toasty moments sitting near it. But the best part of the stay was the staff - friendly, welcoming, and with a smile and a greeting from everyone we met. We chatted with several other guests and we were not the only ones who were return visitors. That says a lot about FQI and its level of service. The hotel is well-located and an easy walk to all that Charleston has to offer. Thank you for another great visit, French Quarter Inn. We can't wait to stay with you again!
