Wonderful intimate hotel in great location. The young lady at the reception desk made our day with her enthusiasm. Beds super comfortable. Quiet even tho on the main strip. Cozy and charming. Simple, light breakfast, on-site parking. Little nooks to enjoy fire pit and pool.

We loved our stay at Dive! We were warmly welcomed by the staff upon arrival and they continued to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay. (Thanks Michelle!). The rooms are small but comfortable and the outdoor area is wonderful. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and having coffee & wine in the garden area. You can also walk to Elmer's for a delicious breakfast just down the street. There are also orange trees on the property that we enjoyed every day. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing boutique hotel experience
The Dive Hotel is an amazing boutique experience, only 11 rooms, in Palm Springs with luxurious accommodations and very attentive staff. Great location and proximity to Downtown. We will definitely come back next time in town for another great stay.

I regret my stay here !The room does not match the advertised photos, presenting as a small, with minimal natural light, with only two small windows near the front door without screens to open the window due to bugs at the end of a hallway. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, and the thermostat malfunctions, causing the unit to continuously emit cold air at a high speed directly at the bed. Additionally, the bathroom floor is improperly sloped, resulting in water accumulation and flooding during showers. The bed is uneven due to wear, impacting comfort. While the staff is friendly and the breakfast is good, and the outdoor pool area is well-maintained and nice. Not worth the price paid.

Perfect for a ZEN relaxing stay.
Amazing ambience and great stay. Walk through the front entrance and transform to the French Riviera. Wonderful Staff especially Michelle. So welcoming. Includes a lovely breakfast. Rooms are well furnished, pool is heated and reminisce of old Palm Springs.
Amazing hospitality. Gracious and friendly staff. Beautiful grounds. I felt like I was in an episode of Emily in Paris. It’s adorable. We can’t wait to come back again in March when the East coast is frozen over. The charcuterie board is fantastic and so is the spicey jalapeño margarita.

Lack of “traditional” hotel services. The whole place felt like an Airbnb. Check in was stated to be from 3 pm till 6 pm but arriving at 5:30 pm was considered “late check in”. So they communicated via messages to check me in (I had to take pictures of my drivers license with my phone. Not sure that was secured or not). I saw staff cleaning and got breakfast in the mornings but that’s it. No TV in the room. The room rate was like a traditional hotel. I checked out via text with no response. Just a weird set-up. I wouldn't stay here again.

Just back from a 4 night stay at the Dive Palm Springs. While the staff are very nice and responsive and the facilities are lovely, the overall experience was disappointing. I was expecting so much more based on previous reviews. The free organic breakfast is poor, the fresh fruit consisted of a few grapes, blueberries and three bruised strawberries with the stem still attached. The muffin was a bland long life one wrapped in plastic. We only had the breakfast once and went out elsewhere the other three days. The shower is very weak and full of lime scale on the head, it also smelled musty. The floor in our room wasn’t clean, there was strange white fibres all over it, when my trousers fell on the floor, it was covered in dirt when I picked it up. The sunbeds were covered in debris from the trees and the pool was full of dead insects, it was like swimming in an insect bath. I feel for the price of over $300 a night, the finer details should be taken care of with more efficiency. With more attention to cleanliness and some upgrades on items (rotting timber at door frame, human hairs on the spare toilet roll, missing top section of the tap) that this hotel could be excellent but fell well short for us on this occasion. There was also an ant infestation in a nearby room and we had some come into our room on the bed.

We booked at Dive based on prior reviews and because we liked the look of the courtyard pool area and that it was a small boutique property. From check in to check out we were totally pleased with everything. The staff were extremely friendly, small requests were taken care of quickly, and the overall ambience was exactly what we had wanted.
The proximity to downtown is great while the bit of separation keeps the noise down; when we were enjoying the courtyard we really felt that we were away from the hustle and bustle (notwithstanding a bit of traffic noise from the highway).
All in all a very pleasant stay and we would both return and recommend.

Perfect Palm Springs getaway
Small but beautiful with a lovely courtyard, pool area and plenty of quiet places to hang out day and night. A little road noise but they overcome that with water features. Great for a couple of nights or long weekend. The staff went over and above.

My wife and I stayed at Dive after falling in love with their sister property Talavera, and we both agreed—Dive might be even better.
This boutique hotel is a peaceful, romantic escape with just the right touch of playful charm. It’s small, quiet, and beautifully designed with French Riviera vibes, but still feels very Palm Springs. Everything about the property feels intentional—from the lush landscaping to the stylish and breezy rooms—and it all creates a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
The pool area is the standout. Heated year round, surrounded by ample lounge chairs, free daybeds, and palm trees—it’s the kind of place you’ll gladly lose an afternoon without even realizing it. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and comfortable, with great lighting and thoughtful details like loads of shelf space under the sink.
Staff were exceptional. Genuinely kind, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. Probably the nicest team of any hotel we’ve stayed at in Palm Springs yet.
The complimentary breakfast is simple but really well done. Fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, and seriously good croissants. There’s something about sitting outside with your breakfast in the morning sun that just hits different here too.
A few helpful notes for future guests:
-It’s an adults-only property—quiet and perfect for couples or solo travelers looking to unwind.
-Location is tucked away in a quiet part of town, but still close to downtown Palm Springs (about a 5–10 minute drive).
-There’s free parking, and the hotel provides complimentary bikes—though we wished they had baskets for carrying water or personal items.
TLDR: 5/5. Dive is a rare mix of beauty, comfort, and warmth that makes it truly special. If you’re looking for a romantic, low-key escape in Palm Springs with a boutique feel, this is the spot.
