Dana Suites is truly unforgettable! We stayed in a stunning room overlooking the Caldera, giving us front-row seats to breathtaking sunsets every evening. The villa’s location was perfect—just a short walk up the stairs to the main walkway. While the stairs were a bit challenging for us in our 60s, they were great exercise and part of the experience!
One of our fondest memories is of the hotel’s restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Alex, Ellen, Christine, and the manager Chris. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, ensuring we had an incredible stay. We visited them every day, and in the evenings, we’d chat about life in Greece, finding we shared similar dreams and goals. Their kindness and hospitality will always remind us of Greece’s warm-hearted people.

Delightful stay at Dana villas, we stayed in a junior suite room which was stunning with the most breathtaking view. The hotel, perched on the cliffside was immaculate, a delicious breakfast was served on the terrace at the bottom adjacent to the pool. We did not use the pool as it was too chilly in October but had an excellent massage in the spa.
Santorini exceeded our expectations, the weather was still very pleasant in October although the evenings were chilly. We tried to avoid the main towns when there were a lot of cruise ships docked as the swarms of people definitely overwhelm.

I have been to 5+ stars resorts around the world and by far Dana Villas is amongst “the” best I have stayed at. Their reception team by starters provide the best personalised experience and have always gone above and beyond (from recommendations of where I can find particular food outside of the hotel due to them not serving it, arranging a hairdresser, resolving pretty much any issue I had and the list goes on - anything I needed they were more than happy to assist with). In summary they did an excellent job to make us feel at home. The housekeeping and restaurant staff were also superb and extremely friendly, very attentive to detail and always ensured my needs are met. Outside of their services, their plunge pools are heated (35C or so) and by far offer the best of sea views in Fira (from what I have seen walking by). When visiting Oia for our photoshoot, I was so happy we chose Fira as the former was very crowded and was difficult to navigate, whilst Fira offered a vibrant yet less hectic and romantic atmosphere. Without a doubt, the next time I visit Santorini, Dana Villas will be the place I will choose to stay. Thank you Dana Villas for offering a romantic and magical stay for us!
P.S: Their complimentary floating breakfast is amazing, highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay, our suite was lovely with a tremendous view of the Caldera and it’s amazing sunsets, the team at Dana are lovely and couldn’t be more helpful, especially the guys and girls down in the poolside bar and restaurant, who looked after us brilliantly
we went for our honeymoon in santorini with my husband, dana was the second hotel we visited but the best! everything was very neat and tidy! I will go again for sure but we will probably stay longer this Time cause we didn't enjoy it enough.!!!

Stayed 3 nights in one of the honeymoon pool suites. The pool is the selling point of the room (obviously) and worth it in my opinion. The views and sunset are breathtaking, having your own personal pool that gradually heats up into the night was amazing and we utilized it throughout our stay. Check in was seamless, staff were friendly, and the location was great.
The only reasons this slowly changed to a 4 star review from a 5 were the following:
-On our last night we had no water pressure at all in the (very well marketed double rain shower) and no hot water. We couldn’t shower before dinner. Figured it’d be fixed after (roughly 3 hours) and the problem persisted. For the price you’re paying per night this is unacceptable.
-The bed was easily one of the absolute worst we’ve ever slept in anywhere in the world. It’s impossible that we had the same bed other reviews were raving about. I found myself falling asleep on the outdoor flat sun bed as it was far more comfortable and essentially only a thin cushion.
-There were constantly little ants in the room. They’d bite your feet if you stood stationary for too long and I had to kill about 10 in the bed one night. (Other reviews mentioned this as well)
-Lastly, our first night we were brought water and snacks around sunset which was a really nice touch as others have mentioned, but after that never again. Granted there were weddings going on which someone mentioned was the reason for lack of attention.
Overall we really did enjoy our stay and these inconveniences didn’t trump the views and cave pool feature. The breakfast was impressive but the lunch was horrible and VERY overpriced. Highly recommend walking up and getting food at one of the many restaurants surrounding the property. If we needed anything, room service & front desk staff were incredibly attentive and fast to help. Transfer from the port cost €50 which I felt was fair considering Uber/Taxi charge about €36 for most drives around the island. LASTLY, we’ve traveled all over the world and this was the first time we were prompted with a “tip for reception” upon checkout. Extremely awkward and rubbed us the wrong way. I’d recommend this location only for certain room types and the views but I also wouldn’t return for a second stay.

We booked this hotel based on the brilliant reviews and were disappointed. I will explain the positives first. The views from our room and communal areas are the best ever! Reception staff were helpful and welcoming and as mentioned in other reviews the luggage porters were amazing. The room was well equipped and very nice with great sunbathing areas.
Access is a big issue, down 171 steps to our room and as we are in our late 60s this was hard, this needs to be very clear on hotel and booking websites - fully appreciate that this is what makes views so good.
Now the negatives. Bathroom area of room was not well cleaned especially round the basin. Breakfast choices are different and the menu says you can book one item from each section, consequently there was lots of wasted food as many people too this literally! I agree with previous review about one or two of the staff in restaurant too, very sharp and rude. This is certainly not all of them though most were friendly and efficient. On check out day we had to be out of room by 11am, our airport pick up was 6.30pm. As we had arrived at 9pm the previous week we lost a day really. We could use hotel facilities but there are very limited shaded areas so this was an uncomfortable time.
I am sorry to be negative but this could be a fantastic hotel and it isn't. We paid almost £4000 for a week for 2 on a B &B basis in a Junior Suite. This is not cheap!

At the very beginning, we were welcomed by a very friendly and kind hotel employee.
He informed us that we would get an upgrade to a better room, and at that moment, we just said: "OK, thank you very much," because we didn't expect to get one of the best rooms in this hotel! The Honeymoon Pool Suite is one of the best rooms we've ever stayed in! It has a river infinity pool leading to the volcanic caldera and dynamite sunset views, which are lovely! The hotel staff was terrific, and we loved communicating via WhatsApp! Just text them what you need, and they will bring it or arrange everything you need to explore the Santorini! The Soma Spa and Orkos restaurant are also fantastic! Outdoor massage overlooking the volcanic caldera sunset is a unique experience! Floating platforms at the Orkos restaurant are also something you must try! The next great thing about this hotel is that the room balconies are not next to the main streets, which gives you enough privacy. Completing that with fantastic hotel staff, you will get unforgettable vacations!

Wanted to say a HEARTFELT THANKS to Bri from reservations and Dimithris and wonderful staff for making every second of our honeymoon unforgettable! Starting with airport pickup to our departure our stay over exceeded any expectation! The rooms are so clean and beautiful, bedsheets are fluffy and comfortable! Beware if you stay in this hotel you might never want to leave the room - it’s incredible! Served to order breakfast deserves its own review!!! It’s so delicious and generous with so many verities that even biggest food critic would find it undoubtably the best breakfast possible! The view from every room seems unreal! It looks like one big beautiful painting you just want to look at forever!
Also the sunsets - they are most beautiful sunsets, and they are actually much better than the ones in Oia. Location is very convenient 10 minutes very scenic walk from Thira and away from all the tourist noise. Plenty of local restaurants around and cute little shops.
Staff is so welcoming and kind that will cater to all your needs! It’s undoubtedly the best hotel with the best view I’ve stayed at AND with the highest level of service! If you are the person that MUST HAVE EVERYTHING PERFECT- this is the place FOR YOU!

Arrived at 245p. Received a room that was part of the CATEGORY of what we ordered but was smaller than expected. Alex and Anastasia were able to accommodate us to a bigger room in the same CATEGORY as what we ordered which was awesome.
The room was clean, however there were ants that would crawl out of their holes and into our room during our entire stay. We simply texted the housekeeping to clean it, and they did promptly.
The breakfast was included; we ordered whatever we liked each day after scheduling a time with Anastasia. We are from the states so we ordered multiple egg dishes everyday.
This location was extremely nice; we had a private pool right outside our room which overlooked the ocean and volcanos—beautiful. It was about a 15-20minute walk from Fira square which had all the street foods, store, and bus route.
Overall great location, service, and amenities.
