Stayed for 2 nights The king room was beautiful but we had a restless nights sleep due to ongoing work in Pitt street. I complained the following day and we were offered an executive suite upgrade with complimentary mini bar. I can’t thank the team enough for being so attentive and kind it made our stay even better than we had hoped. Ps we ate in the grill on first night and I’d recommend it to anyone as the food was delicious. We will be back.

Loved our stay, it’s a great hotel. Fab location, so central for the restaurant and bars. Our room was stunning and so comfortable. The food and drink choices were superb and the staff were super helpful and welcoming particularly Adam, Holly and Andy. We’ll be back!

Probably the worst hotel experience in my entire life. Lazy and lazy staff. Over priced breakfast. Untrained chefs that can’t cook simple over priced food. Noisy streets all night with car racers. Don’t respond to emails. Won’t be back ever.

We are currently in this hotel and to be honest it has been a let down. Signature suite is no more than a premium room in any other hotel with no seperate living area or dining table. We ordered room service as we arrived late and basically had to squeeze in around a rickety metal table at the bottom of the bed to eat with the table constantly moving side to side and spinning round in a circle. £70 for a basic burger and probably the worst steak dish we have ever been served in a hotel--1 napkin between 2, drinks order not received and cooking quality poor. The TV system is very very dated with the smallest TV we have ever seen and a very old SKY system--ours did not work at all and still does not. The bar area on arrival was closed for a private event so we could not have a drink or even a meal there. We are still waiting on the jug of milk we ordered 6 hours ago to make a cup of tea?!! For us in a hotel its the attention to detail that counts and when charging circa £400 per night without breakfast a little service goes a long long way.

We had been here before so knew what to expect - smart, clean, good location, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Would come back again, which is always a good sign. We didn't dine here or have breakfast this time but decided to try some of the local eating places instead....

A stunning hotel with relaxing rooms, big comfy beds and wonderful showers. Staff are exceptional so friendly and helpful. I love this hotel. Just on the outskirts of the city centre only an 10 minute walk to the shopping area so away from the bustle so quiet and peaceful.

We had a lovely stay, the hotel is really lush. Couple of things bid £44 for an upgrade which was accepted, got a bigger room/ bed which were amazing, however the complimentary bar only had 2 bottles of peroni and soft drinks/water. Would have been nice to have some wine...

Would have been nice to have some wine or a couple of spirits! Breakfast food was good, pot of tea was very strong and cold, toast was warm bread, asked if they could put it thru the toaster again but came back the 2nd time still without any colour! The staff were all lovely especially the girls on reception :)

Will keep this short like our stay here. Pre stay emails and correspondence not answered and when an answer to a simple question was received it was in our opinion very curt and unprofessional. Signature Suite is akin to a premium room in any other hotel and to call it a suite beggars belief. Front reception staff friendly enough but not as professional as we remember from our first visit here many years ago. Breakfast at £22 again beggars belief for what you get and the service in the dining room is poor. A very sad decline in our opinion when you compare it to our recent stay in Dakota Manchester where the team really are first class--review to follow.

Perfect, central, staff very friendly, check in a breeze. Great room, quiet, clean, modern. Easy to walk to the ovo, 30 mins. Near loads of restaurants. Cambridge street multi story 12 mins walk and only £8 for overnight parking. Will return.

The bartender Adam and a young lady named Rachel were super friendly and helpful and gave us some off the list things that would be cool to try! The room was big compared to other cities in Scotland, it was clean and we liked the atmosphere!

It is a beautiful hotel in a spunky city! It is very modern. The bed was very large and there was a good amount of space to move around the room and have your suitcase out. Note that it is quite grey. Nothing in the whole hotel is in color....

Note that it is quite grey. Nothing in the whole hotel is in color. The vanity and shower are very spacious, and the shower has an actual FULL sized closing door (which is rare in Europe). It seemed to be in a great location, between city centre and across the highway towards Kelvingrove.

We are in the hotel restaurant and we were delighted with the standard/quality of food. Well done team Dakota, will absolutely be my go to hotel in Glasgow from now on

Not lying around cold but as if they had come out of a fridge ! Still waiing for fourth attempt. Really poor GF option. In fact nothing except fruit which didnt offer any great choice. There are many great brands of individually wrapped GF offerings that most good hotels now have on their buffet/ continental section. Menus do not show, in print next to the dish, gf, veg , vegan. I dont want to ask server to go through the menu with me ! Should not be necessary. Very behind what other good hotels do AND.......should i have to use my torch to see the items in my suitcase ?. I get the ambient lighting at night but room lighting is awful for getting on in the morning. Wardrobe area is very badly lit cannot see a thing !

This Hotel although it takes us 2 buses to get their as we don't drive would suggest anyone visiting Glasgow this is a must. We always go to Jack's Bar nice and quiet and the staff are excellent especially the young waitress who served us Ash. We would like to thank the management for the complementary drinks this being our 58 Wedding Anniversary.

Lovely cozy atmosphere, staff were friendly, rooms were clean and well kept. Great overnight experience and will be definitely back at some point in the future, to do it all over again and will try the bar and restaurant, when we do a 2 night experience
