Wonderfully maintained facility. Amazing location on Frenchman's Bay and Bar Harbor. Friendly and incredibly helpful staff. Cleaner than clean. Absolutely the best "continental" breakfast you will encounter anywhere. (It is really a full breakfast in disguise.) On the footstep of Acadia National Park. It doesn't get any better than this.

Perfect romantic getaway! We loved everything about this inn - friendly staff, cozy inviting rooms, lovely view of the water, excellent food in the Reading Room. This was my birthday weekend and it was very special. Acadia is stunning and the Bar Harbor Inn is the perfect retreat after hiking!

The breakfast had a great variety of quality foods to choose from including multiple gluten free options. The heated pool and hot tubs were perfect after a day of hiking the trails in Acadia. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially this late in the season when they about to close up for the year. I will definitely be booking a room here again next year and hope to stay longer than one day.

My Husband and I came to the Bar Harbor Inn & Spa for our honeymoon. Everything was fantastic, from the friendly staff, the cleanliness and comfort of the room, and the breathtaking views. Dinner and breakfast in the Reading Room were both delicious and with great service. We also enjoyed a very relaxing couples massage in the spa. We had a wonderful time and would recommend a stay here ☺️

Each morning, we woke up to misty waters and colorful autumn trees right outside our window, setting a serene tone for our days of exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia. The staff was incredibly welcoming, offering wonderful local tips that made our visit even better. Evenings by the fireplace were the perfect way to unwind. We’re already dreaming of our next visit to this little piece of New England paradise!
