Let me start saying that this is not the typical “noisy, crowdy, nightlife, partying” kind of place in Acapulco. This place is amazing, really amazing, if you are looking somewhere to disconnect from everything. To enjoy the sound of the sea and doing nothing but giving your body a piece of peace. They are pet friendly and this was a highlight for us to book here. The food is really good and the place is unbelievable. Is like having a beach house. The manager and all the staff were so helpful and kind, giving us that personal touch that is so enjoyable. I can’t imagine coming back to Acapulco and staying somewhere else but here.

This is one of those places that you want to keep a secret, but we won’t. Relaxing is the main theme. Yoga sessions, great food, great staff, empty beach, safe (‘a million miles’ from actual Acapulco), idyllic, a paradise, we extended our stay, it doesn’t pretend to be 5* but...

A very nice few days at this yoga compound. Run by lovely people who really want you to have the best, most chill time possible. Great food, proper coffee, yoga classes at 9:30 each morning (extra cost.) We were upgraded without asking, just because they thought we would enjoy the better view. When I felt that the shower water was too salty, they immediately switched to a fresher supply. It is remote, but that was what I was looking for. Near the airport, nice pool.

Short stay with my husband. The beach is very nice, wide and long and natural. Small and intimate environment. We enjoyed the yoga class. Tip: Insect repellent is advisable this time of year. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We are a couple from South of Germany and stayed here for 4 nights. Bambuddha is a stunning place all in all - especially if you are looking for getting back to yourself and in contact with the elements. Rooms are nicely decorated and have aircon as well as ventilation....

We are a couple from South of Germany and stayed here for 4 nights. Bambuddha is a stunning place all in all - especially if you are looking for getting back to yourself and in contact with the elements. Rooms are nicely decorated and have aircon as well as ventilation. The atmosphere, inspired by the owners, is family like (10 rooms total) but international. Highly recommended: taking the yoga classes in the morning. Having experienced various Yoga teachers Christina is the best one I have had. In addition she is a very good spiritual coach. Also recommended: Swimming in the ansolutely clean ocean - for here you can forget any negative stories you might have heard from Acapulco bay. Talking about stories: During our stay the food was good and service was very attentive. Also recommended is having long runs or walks along the beach. It is absolutely safe in both directions and people you might meet are very friendly. If you want to experience the original Mexico you should have a look at Barra Vieja (5 Min by car from Bambuddha) and have lunch/dinner at the fish restaurant "Beto Godoy" (tip: red snapper, in Spanish called "huachinango") and make a boat trip through the mangroves! If you want to experience the developed part of Mexico (one day or so) you can go to "La Isla" shopping district (15 min by car from Bambuddha) - quite nice and fancy but not overdone. Last but not least: Bambuddha is just 20 minutes away from the airport, but you do not see or hear any airplane. For us it was the second time here and it will definitively not have been the last!
