Do not waste your money to stay at the Arabella. It is overpriced. There are numerous dark areas in the outside hallways. We couldnt see where we were going. The worst issue is that there are no elevators to the higher floors. This 70s couple were assigned rooms as far away as possible from the lobby and main areas of the hotel and on the second floor. The receptionist asked if we needed help with our luggage. We declined thinking that there would be no difficulty going to the second floor. What she failed to mention was that THERE WAS NO ELEVATOR. There is neither a bar nor a restaurant on the property.

Don’t stay here. Let down. I found this hotel over social media, showing beautiful videos & was looking forward to our anniversary stay. My husband and I had been on the road for hours & we were ready to relax. When we arrive Caleb at the front desk tells us our room does not have ELECTRICITY. We waited & waited finally the electrician crew outside our door told us it would be on “soon” . When we went into our room a synthetic scented cleaning solution overwhelmed us. I get migraines from synthetic scented items. It smelled like potpourri or cheap air freshener we told Caleb at the front & he gave us a key to try another room, same smell. He said, “we have had that complaint before.” So we spent the night my eyes were itching the entire stay. Breakfast was cold and extremely crowded. If you want to be Uptown this hotel is not located in uptown as advertised.

You can't go wrong staying at The Arabella! This trip was just my husband and I but this resort is excellent for everyone. The views from every room are astounding, the complimentary breakfast was worthy of 5 stars. Choices varied from fresh made oatmeal, yogurt with fresh toppings, the most delicious scrambled eggs we've ever eaten, a different type of sausage every day, the most delicious coffee and even cereal for the kids! Multiple pools, outdoor firepits, games every night, live entertainment with soft soothing music, not blaring rock music, which is perfect for the environment of the hotel. Hiking trails right from the hotel and most popular sites of Sedona within a 10-20 minute drive. This was the most Zen experience we've had in Arizona to date!
Con: If you eat and/or have drinks at the on-site restaurant Mole, be prepared to pay, it's quite expensive!

This hotel is everything you’d want in a boutique hotel with out the heavy price tag. We stayed here for 4 nights. It’s super clean, the continental breakfast is perfect to start your day and the concierge is fantastic! Brett will recommend hikes that are perfectly tailored to your liking!...

The beds were super comfy and the hotel even has a trail head that you can go watch the sunset from with a fire out and comfy seating.
They have fun evening events that are sure to allow for guests to gather and mingle if you’d like.
Also, the restaurant Mole is VERY good with a super bartender (Michael?). Make reservations ahead if possible (for most restaurants).
We would most definitely stay here again the next time we are in Sedona!

We stayed for two nights at this hotel resort. The website says that the rooms have balconies, but we got the less expensive room we should not have a balcony, so be aware of that. It didn't really bother us but if you were expecting to have a balcony buy the more expensive rooms.
Our room was very comfortable although quite dark in January. In the heat of Summer it might be more pleasant to have it dark and cool. The hot tub and pool were right outside our door. There's another Pool and hot tub up by the breakfast room. The hot tub was plenty hot and we enjoyed our soak there. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Delicious muesli, yogurt, eggs, sausage, and muffins to die for! Plus lots of hot coffee and many other amenities. One of the best breakfast we've enjoyed at a hotel like this.
We took a couple of hikes that were very enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel. If we ever come back again we will book one of the balcony rooms.

The resort is well located for walking around Sedona, hiking and biking. For the high price, the rooms are small and a bit shabby (drapes worn out, very little storage, worn carpets) but the bath is nice with a larger vanity. By far the best feature is the grounds that is scattered with fire pits and pretty areas to hang out. Breakfast is good but not as outstanding as some reviewers mention. Fruit is from a can, not fresh. Coffee is good. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Overall, I would stay again but not during peak rates. Pool and hot tub was very nice as well.
We were charged one extra room night in error that I caught when reviewing my credit card. When I called about it, I was asked to "calm down" although I was perfectly calm and just pointing out we were only supposed to be charged $120 for the resort fee. It was the hotel's error and would not have been corrected had I not called. REVIEW YOUR BILL WHEN DEPARTING.

Arabella Sedona is a nice place to stay!
Nice, big and clean rooms. Quiet location with direct trail access with nice vistas and Arabella has set up some Adirondack chairs and a firepit on one of the trails nearest the complex. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Lots of hotel activities
