Reviews of Annabelle Inn
Really lovely hotel, very well managed, and just a few blocks from downtown Aspen. Attention was top notch, from the goodie bag at check in to happy hour and breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

David puts out a delicious breakfast; calling it “continental” shortchanges the quality and presentation. We like meatless breakfasts, wife loved the homemade quiches. Tracey and all the staff are kind, personable and aim to make your stay exceptional. Each room is decorated differently and tastefully.
Our beds were super comfortable, room and entire place was super clean.
The location makes walking to restaurants and other places easy.
Corporate sites probably call this a 3 star lodging, but that doesn’t take into consideration the touches that this property has. If you’re looking for something different and special without having to take out a loan, we highly recommend. Really facilitated a great time.
Note: several of the rooms are adjacent to Main Street, so if road noise is an issue, do discuss when choosing your room.

We loved our stay at the Annabelle Inn and would stay here again!
When we arrived, we were given a short tour of the place and they also offered to make us a breakfast cooler since we would be missing the breakfast the next day due to an early morning hike. This extra effort made us feel very welcome and appreciated!
Our room had a cozy, upscale feel, and was spacious for the two of us. The bed was comfortable, and the room's decorations and style also made it feel like we were staying in a cabin. The breakfast was perfect and the common area made the inn seem like a lodge. The inn is located a few blocks away from the shops and restaurants so there isn't too much noise other than from the main street that runs through Aspen.
Everyone we interacted with was friendly and eager to help us. And they went above and beyond. I asked for a mountain view room when booking and mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. The room we received had a mountain view that opened up to a shared balcony and we were also given a bottle of wine to celebrate.

We chose the Anabelle Inn for our two nights in Aspen because in a VERY expensive city, this was one of the more affordable options comparatively speaking. I also thought the inn looked very charming, and it was. We booked a deluxe king and received room 210 on the second floor. We had requested a balcony if possible and were given a room with a balcony, but as a heads up to other travelers, currently the balcony in 210 looks directly onto a construction site with workers working all day long. This is not the inn's fault and I am not deducting anything from their rating because of it - I just wanted to make other guests aware in case you don't want that view, you can request to not stay in that room. I will say the small balcony itself is full of crumbling concrete and could maybe be replaced or just removed.
The inn itself is charming and has several nice amenities such as two hot tubs and a semi-covered balcony that overlooks the main street - access it on the second floor tucked back around the corner of rooms that face the front street. The main street is full of traffic at virtually all hours and is very loud, but we could not hear it at all from our room which faced a side alley. However, if you are concerned about traffic noise, mind the warnings on their website and don't book the standard rooms that open onto the street.
Everyone we encountered who worked at the inn was very friendly and helpful with our questions. They will give you a parking pass that allows you to exceed the time limit parking near the inn as well as other surrounding streets. Be aware there is no dedicated parking lot for the inn- there are a handful of spots on the side of the building and if those are taken (and they are also open to the public), you need to find parking on a nearby street. During our stay, we were always able to snag a spot on the side.
Some very nice touches: because we'd miss breakfast our first morning due to Maroon Bells reservations, they so kindly packed us a cooler with breakfast that they delivered the night before so we had something to eat. We mentioned it was our anniversary and they had champagne waiting for us in the room. We also were given two cookies upon check-in.
A couple suggestions for improvements: On day 2, the front of our AC unit fell off randomly. We weren't able to get it back on and could tell it must happen often as there was old tape in there. Because we couldn't get it to stick ourselves, I told the woman at the front desk after breakfast what had happened. She said it happens often but she was writing herself a note to come up and fix it for us. She never came up and it never got fixed. Since we were leaving the next day, we didn't bring it up again but I do wish someone would have stopped by since they said they would do so. Also on day 2, I took a shower around 4 PM and the water got lukewarm at best. It was hotter again the following morning. Not sure if a lot of people decided to shower at 4 PM that day or what the issue was.
Neither of the small issues we had would prevent me from staying here again. It was overall a very positive experience and a lovely inn to stay in while in Aspen.

Everyone we spoke to was so helpful and friendly and the room was very comfortable!

We stayed for 2 nights. The nicest hotel staff ever. David couldn’t have been nicer for morning breakfast . They were always concerned about how your stay is going. Tracy was on duty when we arrived and gave us all the info we needed especially restaurants. Then she called our room to see if everything was ok When we checked out David gave us water and cookies for on the road. The inn was in walking distance to shopping and restaurants and the bus stops right in front of the inn. When in Aspen this Inn is a must stay.

We had a very nice stay. It was clean and quiet and we thought our room was so nice. The fireplace was so welcomed. It's within walking distance to everything. We would definitely stay again. They went out of their way for us.
Visiting Maroon Bells and Hanging Lake.
It’s a very cozy place. Tracey was very helpful by giving my wife and I direction to places to have dinner in town. Also, this place serves very nice morning breakfast. Very close to town. Will definitely stay at this place again.
