My only complaint with the hotel was the brown bag breakfast, which consisted almost entirely of packaged, processed high carb snack foods. The lobby also had a large selection of the kind of candy my kids would have picked when they were 5. There was almost nothing available that was healthy.
Also, be careful if you book through hotels dot com. There was a $45 a DAY resort fee that was not included in our room rate.

One of the worst massages ever in my life. Not worth spending money at all. AC was not working, we felt rushed, everything was awful. The price reflects the experience of the people working there. Enough said, look for another place. Not what we were expecting

For my birthday weekend, my partner booked a couples massage complete with a soak in a mineral spa with champagne. That alone should have been amazing and perfect. BUT! From the second we walked in the door and were greeted, we were treated so kind. Every interaction was warm and genuine. You could tell the staff is very happy there. Our masseuses not only did an amazing job (so amazing that I fell asleep multiple times! Sorry for snoring!) but continued the experience going above and beyond and even recommending local restaurants! To say that we left not only pleased but relaxed would be a complete understatement! Thank you so much to the entire staff for making us feel so welcome and so cared for. It truly was the perfect birthday. Thank you!

We have good friends in Palm Springs, so we wanted to see them AND have a nice little getaway. This gem of a stay popped up on our Travel Zoo feed and it looked great. Now at the end of our stay, all I can say is WOW. This little place is the best kept secret in downtown Palm Springs and exceeded every expectation. The charm, atmosphere and attention to detail here is amazing. Being adults only there were no screaming kids around (when you’re a parent it’s nice to have that break) and just have a far more relaxed and inviting feel.
The staff is attentive and top notch and so friendly and accommodating. The pool courtyard is beautiful and with the backdrop of the mountains as you lounge poolside, it’s simply stunning.
The room was absolutely immaculate and again, attention to detail in every regard. Two-person spa tub, electric (no heat) fireplace for ambiance, beautiful four post king bed, chandeliers…stunning, quaint, chic room.
They provide breakfast each morning, which is nothing over the top, but for a small place without a kitchen, etc. at least they provide something if you’d like it. That said, you’re in the heart of downtown, so you have many places to choose from that are steps away and worth going to.
They have fresh lemon water stations in several spots and endless clean towels and robes. Our stay came with a discounted spa treatment at their on-site spa so I booked an appointment ahead of time for my wife and she said it was amazing. Free parking was also a great perk and the coffee bar in the lobby rivaled Starbucks, with complimentary biscotti and though I didn’t partake - ha - an endless candy bar. If you’re reading this it’s likely because you are a scrupulous traveler and have had your share of sketchy stays and places you’ve been horrified by, shook your head at or were just unimpressed and will never stay there again. We’ve experienced all the above over the years. I can say, without hesitation, you will absolutely love this place. Picture a Tuscan villa infused with mid-century Sinatra charm.
We’ve been to Palm Springs several times and this was not only our best trip and stay ever, but we have now found our go-to hotel for every future stay. I won’t even waste my time looking anywhere else. This stay and this hotel are simply A+ / 5 stars.

We spent five nights at the Andreas in downtown Palm Springs. Our large 1 bed "suite" overlooked North Palm Canyon Drive, the "main drag" for downtown PS. The room was comfortable, the location convenient for walking the downtown, area, walking to restaurants, and walking to the casino (which is across the street is you are a casino person. We also enjoyed the sun and comforts of the pool area, although the limited number of chaises suggests that there could be some aggressive competition for pool-side space if the day is warm and the hotel is booked. Staff were generally friendly and prepared to assist.
Our one major complaint was the WiFi, which was included in the overpriced $34 resort fee add-on to our room charges. This fee, we were told, covered WiFi, on-site parking, the "breakfast bag" (wrapped pastry and a paged, one piece of fruit, juice), towels for the pool, and some other services. The WiFi truly sucked - just awful. Admittedly, we did not go to PS to spend the day in our room on screens. But when we needed it - in the morning to check email and some work tasks, and in the evening perhaps to stream a movie given the limited offerings on the hotel's TV/cable service - it was almost useless. We raised this issue several times with hotel staff: the response was in essence, that "yes, the WiFi can be problematic and erratic, and we regret any inconvenience. Sorry, but there is nothing we can do about it."
As for cost (aside from the overpriced resort fee), we were in PS for a "non-event" week, meaning that rooms were reasonable, about $215 plus taxes for the weekday nights and $323 for the one weekend night. No doubt rates would be higher "special event" weekend like the spring music festivals.
OVERALL - 3.5 stars.

Hotel is from the 30’s Spanish style and has a sweet vibe. It is right in town so that’s terrific with free parking. Place could use a refresh. I didn’t walk on the carpet as it seemed very old and dirty. We had the one bedroom and it was a good space but I think it needs a good steam. It’s a three star so don’t expect super fresh and clean. They don’t clean your room so don’t sit and assume they do. Plus they don’t tell you you need to put a sign up asking. When I finally asked, they made the bed and refreshed towels. Sinks were dirty as the cleaning team didn’t even wipe it. And that’s after we threw out the wine in the sink so it was obvious. and the toilet paper had not been put on the roll. Yea you get free candy but maybe save that cash and hire people to clean? Breakfast on a bag was not consumed as it was white bagels with sugary yogurt and even the orange juice was Sunny D. Not real. Coffee was good. Staff were friendly.

The rooms were very well decorated. The pillows were beautiful and All the built in finishings. The mattresses were comfortable. The only thing I did not like, was not enough valet carts for your luggage and a place to store them.
Staff was very nice and cordial.
Lovely boutique hotel as advertised so centrally located that one doesn’t really need to use a car much. Can just walk out the door and have everything in front of you. Spa was superb. Spent a day with hubby being massaged, facial. Lovely pool. Pleasant staff. Would recommend requesting room...

The bed was so comfortable and the robes were very appreciated. We loved the coffee and hot chocolate bar along with the candy bar. It was such a nice touch to have a breakfast bag with delicious breakfast items available in the morning.
We can’t wait to come back and are already recommending this place to others.

We booked the Andreas to fill a couple of days before attending a conference in Palm Desert. We arrived late at night, but the welcome was warm and friendly. Be aware that if you have heavy suitcases, as we did, you have to drag them up the stairs if you are in an upper room.
We booked a deluxe room and it was spacious and had everything we needed. Our only real complaint was that the bed creaked literally every time either of us moved, so it was a case of lying absolutely still in order not to disturb the other, and with serious jet lag that was difficult! The shower was good but the basin area was very small for such a huge bathroom. We had coffee and biscuits in the lobby area, but that was the only other area of the hotel we used.
The hotel is in a perfect location and we didn't take the breakfast bags, but ate at an amazing little cafe nearby called L'atelier, who do the best french toast. There was a huge choice of restaurants within walking distance for dinner too.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in a vibrant town.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We booked a room with balconies which was quite lovely. No WiFi as promised and nothing was done about it. They moved us to a suite when the shower leaked into the room below (maintenance said it needed caulking). We were informed the next morning that we had to move because the suite was booked. We were moved to a basement room between the laundry and the washrooms with no view. We were also told that the air-conditioning was locked so we couldn’t adjust it. We bought a fan at Home Depot. Three moves in three days and ended up in a much inferior room. The staff, while pleasant enough, did nothing to rectify our situation. Politeness is not a replacement for good service. Again. We would never return. As I told the person who was there for our third move I was just waiting for the week to be over

We booked Andreas Hotel and Spa because of the location. While it's a small hotel, its customer service is huge! Nikki and Stephanie at the front desk were always very helpful with any questions we had. The both went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable in our room. Our room was clean and very nicely appointed. The location of the Andreas Hotel is excellent, as it's within steps of numerous restaurants and shops. Originally, we were only going to stay 1 night, but loved it so much that we stayed an additional 2 nights. Can't wait to go back!

I had high expectations from this hotel. Not just because of the price, but because of the descriptions, reviews and pictures.
The good: staff was pleasant, hotel was clean and quiet.
The bad: while we were lucky to get the king size bed, the mattress was super lumpy and it was impossible to sleep on it. You couldn't move without waking up the other person. We both ended up with backache and while we planned on sleeping in on our last morning, we were up at 5.30am and left as soon as the first breakfast place opened.
I was not impressed when we were handed a "breakfast bag" on the first morning. At first I thought that we missed the breakfast, but then I realized that's just the way they are. That might work in a Motel 6, but at almost $400 a night it's embarrassing to say the least. If you are not able to provide at least fresh pastry and fruit, then don't advertise the free breakfast. Neither of us is a picky eater, but the stale bagel, sugary cheap pastry and soft tangerines are not our thing.
To charge the resort fee you have to offer resort quality, but this was not the case.
Overall, overpriced hotel that has a potential to offer a lot but needs to keep up or lower the prices.
We won't be back.
