We had a large, excellent room in a grand, old style hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful . Location was very good with a number of restaurants and sites in walking distance. Not sure about value as we booked it through a tour but hotel was top notch all the way.

Well located hotel in downtown Buenos Aries. Comfortable and clean accommodation and good breakfast Easy to book in conjunction with Seabourn ship journey to Antarctica. Nearby shopping and parks with plenty of food outlets and enjoyable walks.

I had such high expectations for this stay, it was my husband b-day and our anniversary, I sent a note about our special occasion to the hotel staff well in advance. Upon checkin we again mentioned it, the girl at the reception promised us a room with "a view". The view turned out to be a filthy run down building. Im still puzzled, what she meant by "view".. Same evening we went to the lobby bar to have some food. The burger they served was the worst in my life, it literally tasted like a paper. Next morning , we had a breakfast buffet. I didnt know that scrambled eggs could be not edible, but in this hotel they were, The selection in the buffet was so limited and same every day, that first time in my life I didnt look forward to the "breakfast included" option. I' m giving this hotel 2 stars for the decor and spa which was nice and included in the hotel stay price.

Service is excellent, rooms are spectacular and the location is outstanding. We were there with several other couples and everyone came away raving about the place. I highly recommend this choice.

Steak at the hotel restaurant in the basement was excellent as well as the service. The hotel itself is a bit dated and I wouldn't pay the rack rate, but if you get a good enough discount, then I would stay there. Good location too. Room is pretty beat up....

The bathroom amenities are top notch though. Also, the staff was nice.

The hotel is in a beautiful neighborhood and easily accessible . Breakfast is wonderful and staff very helpful ! Communication and guidance with reception and concierge were spot on .We enjoyed tours in Palermo and Tango and dinner show at night . Thank you for a lovely stay .

This is a historic hotel in Recoleta that has grand public spaces with too expensive prices for rooms food and drinks. The rooms may be large but the furnishing and electronics are old and outdated. No tabletop outlets or USB ports! The indoor pool is with great views tho. Very disappointing for price paid…this is a hotel that seems to be living off of its past glory years. And the neighborhood while safe isn’t as happening and lively like Palermo.

A well located “old world” style hotel. Located centrally in the Recoletta area, close to hi end shopping, restaurants and the hop on hop off bus. Quite opulently finished inside, with a few signs of tiredness becoming apparent. Our room was spacious, with a great bed. However the door to the room had been banged around a bit and didn’t seal very well allowing light and noise in, the bathroom door required maintenance to attend the squeaking hinges (which I was surprised housekeeping didn’t react to) and the toilet was blocked requiring maintenance to do their thing. The breakfast offer was broad without being great in terms of no toast available or cooked eggs if you didn’t wish for scrambled. So, top price, quite comfortable with some opportunity.

Fantastic period hotel, but you will pay top dollar to experience it!! Excellent location, with many attractions in walking distance, including a great art and craft market in a small park just outside Recoleta Cemetery. All the staff are polite, professional and attentive, speaking excellent English. We received a superb service from every staff member we encountered. The period rooms were spacious, clean tidy and well appointed. Room service was efficient and still hot when we received it (not always the case in every hotel) Very efficient and effective concierge process. The breakfast was absolutely excellent. Highly recommended if you have the budget for it.

We stayed 3 nights in this classic hotel. The staff were all professional and extremely nice. The hotel is elegant and very comfortable. The rooms were good size…the bathroom large with extremely good water pressure. The location was great and walking distance to the cemetery. Highly recommend.

Beautiful historic hotel. Great service and nice accommodations. Several things to do in the area to include the Recoleta Cemetary with the tomb of Eva Prone. Nice street cafes in the area as well. It was rather hot when we were there, and we could not get the room to cool below about 74F, that was a little warm for us. Also, the lack of outlets to charge (it is an older location I understand it require renovations) items was a small inconvenience. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

Very friendly and helpful people, with great service level, the room was very nice and clean. The concierge explained where to go and what to do and see, even where else to eat outside the hotel. Everything was made easy for us! we always would come back to the hotel.
