I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I had to share my incredible stay at this hotel. My now fiancé surprised me by proposing to me in the lobby! He wanted to keep it a secret, but he still wanted to make it a memorable moment for us to share. There was a musician playing some relaxing music in the lobby. It was around Christmas time, so the hotel was decorated with lights and trees, which was absolutely stunning. We sat next to the musician, and I think he must have overheard us. Right after he proposed and I said yes, he played one of my favorite songs, “Yellow” by Coldplay. The timing was so perfect, I thought my fiancé had hired him to play for us. We’re going to remember this moment for the rest of our lives. The hotel had amazing decorations filled with plants and nature. The service was great, and everyone was so friendly. I hope to come back for our first anniversary!

The 1Hotel was a great place to stay. The location is 1 bock from Central Park. The neighborhood is clean and neat. The staff was GREAT! Everyone treated us like we had been there 100 times! The rooms are very cool. We had a (slight) view of the Park. The use of the electric Audi was a nice feature. We were able to use the services each day we were there. The fitness room/gym could use some attention, but what they have is certainly adequate. We did not eat at the restaurant, so I have no comments there. We were 2 blocks away from multiple restaurant choices. I would certainly stay again!

The bed was super comfortable and the restaurant food was delicious with excellent service. We loved the complimentary water offered in the lobby. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back!”

This was our third stay at 1 Hotel Central Park in the past year and we were so happy to be back! This is one of our favorite hotels in the city and we have stayed in many many many over the past 30 years! We love the organic design and how committed the hotel is to helping/saving the environment. There really is nothing else like this that we know of in the city. But even better than that is how welcomed they make us feel when we drive up to the entrance! Everyone is so friendly and professional. It is a warm, cozy and inviting destination every time!

I recently stayed at 1 Hotel Central Park and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious, and I absolutely loved the green design—it was calming, beautiful, and made the entire space feel fresh and welcoming. Breakfast at Jam’s Restaurant was a highlight. Even though I’m not big on veggies, the green shakshuka is a must-try, and their kale salad delicious! Pro tip: add shrimps! The staff at the hotel were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The bell team even remembered me and took the time to ask how my day was, which made me feel truly special. Had fun checking in the front desk, quick and informative. The overall vibe is casual yet upscale, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I’d highly recommend 1 Hotel Central Park and can’t wait to return!

I recently stayed at the 1 Central Park for my 30th birthday trip to New York and I was blown away with this hotel. The location for one is fantastic , especially for your first time in New York. You can literally walk anyway and you stumble across the iconic NY sites. We didn’t use the subway once! The hotel concierge were incredible, they managed to get us a table at Carbone for my special trip which is unheard of! They also organized drivers for us when needed to take us to and from the airport. The team behind 1 Central Park were incredible, they were there when you needed them but not overbearing which was perfect service for us! The rooms are gorgeous in this hotel. We had a view over Central Park where you could see the sunrise. For New York the room was spacious, with a fabulous shower and lots of wardrobe space. The whole hotel smelt amazing and was extremely clean everywhere. 10/10 for everything and I couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you 1 Central Park for making my birthday trip so memorable.
