We have stayed at almost every resort on the strip over the last 25+ years. This was our third stay at the Cosmo, & we both decided that it will be the only place we'll stay in the future. We've been coming to Las Vegas for a long time, & both agreed that this may have been our best trip ever. The Cosmopolitan does everything right. Great diverse food options, a fun casino, fantastic drink service, clean, comfortable rooms, and over the top customer service. Everyone from the staff we encountered was friendly and engaging. My wife got a hand pay, and some guy started stalking her , asking for some money. She said security showed up within a minute & rectified the situation. We haven't experienced that at other Vegas spots. Thank you.

Where do I start? The hotel smells like sewage and eggs on certain floors. I thought it was just us but we ran into many people with the same issue.
Our bathroom reeked of sewage when we arrived. We couldn’t take it and had to request a new room. I was surprised that being a Platinum elite Bonvoy member that I had to even ask considering how bad it was.
The room was filthy and dusty. The baseboards had built up hair on them. The base of the bed was dirty as well. Random hair everywhere.
The bathroom was old and the water smelled bad. I should have know better when upon checkin there was an employee on the elevator with a dirty pipe.
For the price save yourself the time and money.

Third time staying at Cosmo and continue to love the rooms. First two visits were in a King Terrace in Boulevard Tower and this time we had a one bedroom suite in Chelsea Tower - comped. I was nervous about the other reviews and loud music from Boulevard Tower so we asked for a room away from noise and got the Chelsea Tower. The check-in line was maybe 10 minutes at noon but the lines looked much longer later in the day. The room was large, clean and no issues. Only thing we didn’t like is the open area between Japanese soaking tub connected to shower and the bedroom. I’m an early riser so while using the shower the light was on and the shower was loud in bedroom for my sleeping husband. We both agreed that the King Terrace is a better choice for us and Boulevard Tower has easier access to casino and strip. We were south facing which was fine with us - we didn’t care about the view. I won on various slot machines at Cosmo - did better there than any other casino. We had a comped dinner at Amaya on 2nd floor. Amazing food and drinks. I got the taco salad and the waitress warned it was large - holy cow - it came in a gigantic taco shell and was awesome. I shared with my husband and still couldn’t eat it all. We loved our stay and will definitely return in the future.

Best Fountain View in Vegas for NYE

With the Day Club/Night Club Marquis and being very accessible from the strip, Cosmo is a hot spot. Lots of food choices and we love their version of a food court.
We’ve stayed in all types of rooms, but most recently, on 2 separate ocassions, their Terrace One Bedroom Suite Fountain View and Terrace Suite Fountain View (bigger).
Between the 2, we’d recommend the Terrace one bedroom for couples, which is yes, smaller, but it has the Japanese soaking Tub!
The bigger suite has 2 full bathrooms and a dining area, so better for entertainment and groups.
The fountain view terraces are honestly unbeatable. They have outdoor furniture you could just hang out there and enjoy the view (spectacular at night, esp NYE).
Cosmo is also connected to Vdara via walkway

Stayed here for our wedding night. Our stay was dissappointing beyond belief.
They gave us a 2 doubles room instead of a king. Did not receive any upgrades even though the hotel was very quiet, and it was our Wedding night. On top of that, I am a Titanium member with marriott.
The room was very small and spartan, most 4 star hotels on the strip have way nicer rooms for half the price.
Do not let the shiny exterior fool you. This hotel has terrible customer service and terrible rooms, that is why their rating on here is so low compared to other luxury hotels in vegas. You can come to cosmo to play (clubbing, food, drinks), but stay elsewhere.

50th Birthday Nightmare at Cosmo. No sleep, no service, no shiitakes given. Stay away!

Don’t do it if you want to sleep at all! I wanted to spend my 50th Birthday in Vegas. Cosmopolitan seemed like a good choice because it was centrally located on the strip. We paid a little more for the room than we normally would because it was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself. Our flight left Nashville at 6am (woke up at 2am to drive to the airport ) and we got to the hotel by 9:30. They texted me around 1pm to let us know the room was ready. The room was nice. We could hear the club below us outside and the bass was shaking the room. No biggie, it was Vegas and 2pm, right. We went out and gambled and ate, saw a show etc. got back to the room at 1am and guess what, the club was hopping. The bass was still shaking the room, we could hear every word the DJ said. I called and asked when it would stop. They said 4 am. I asked for a room change. They said “not until tomorrow, would you like some ear plugs?”. We were able to sleep from 4-8am when people started talking and moving in the hall. We packed up all of our things and went to the desk. They said they could change our room for the next 2 nights and would text when it was ready. We stored luggage and went out into Vegas for the day. By 6pm we had not received a text so I went to the desk. They said that they could not change our room and we would be back in the same room that night, the club closed at 4am. “Do you want some ear plugs?” Listen, Just don’t stay there. It’s not worth it. This was a Brand damaging stay for me for MGM hotels. I will never stay or gamble at another one. There are too many other choices out there that actually care about their guests.

For the price, this hotel is a poor choice. There are lots of reasons i say that but I probably would not have written this poor review except I could not find a coffee maker in the room. I asked about it and they told me I could get coffee from room service (which, with tip and delivery fees would be about $25 or so and a 30 minute or so wait). Absolutely unacceptable at any hotel but definitely sad at these prices.
By the way, it turns out, they will bring a coffee maker to the room for $100.
This, combined with a host of other issues gives them a one star review.

Didn’t get king room as booked long in advance
Disappointed not to get king room having booked long in advance. Check in late at night took over half an hour. Expected better for price paid. Otherwise hotel and restaurants and casino very busy. Would not stay here again. Good brunch options limited.

Despite this being a beautiful property, the check in service was mo as expected We arrived 1.5 hours after check in time for our suite, told it was not ready and we could "aimlessly roam around until your room is done" When asked how long it might be we were told no clue. My husband and I came back 2.5 hours later and went to the MGM rewards member check in where the gentleman was so kind and apologetic for the issues we had. He had wonderful customer service. The restaurant The Henry was fabulous. Both the food and service were excellent. I will choose a different MGM property for my next Vegas visit but will absolutely go back to The Henry to eat Short Ribs Benedict and french toast!
