We saw whales jumping out of the water every morning. Fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast. LOVED it here!

I will admit however the music at the pool definitely needs an Update. Would I come back yes should you book a vacation here absolutely. 5 stars!!

Short 4 day trip to PV to escape the NW gloom. First time at Villa Premiere and it was exactly what we needed. Clean rooms, great pool area, wonderful views, friendly and helpful staff. Don't eat or drink enough to justify all-inclusive, and went offsite for all meals, as we enjoyed walking to old town each evening for dinner. Highly recommended Pepe's for lunch. No frills taco place 2-3 blocks away. Drinks at the pool and bar seemed reasonably priced. Perfect place to soak up the sun and feel the sand between your toes. We'll be back.

Villa Premiere Boutique is a wonderful, small resort, with all rooms overlooking the ocean. We saw many whales, which was one of the best experiences for us. Staff were accommodating, knowledgeable, and called us by names after first being introduced. Food was awesome, swim up bar was always in the sun, and seating around the pool and pier were so comfortable. Love it! The beach was beautiful, although the waves were quite strong and swimming was a bit treacherous.

Gotta start my review with a shoutout to Paul - you did an amazing job manning the pool! If (when) we come back, we gotta bring you some Canadian snacks!
The experience was amazing from start to finish. The night we arrived, our room had some sort of plumbing issue. The hotel moved us into a master suite for that night until the issue was resolved. The pillow menu and the scents were a really nice touch. Our room was really quiet too.
As previously mentioned, the pool was really nice. We could also hear music from our balcony a few times during the week which was cool. The sunsets from the balconies were amazing as well.
The location of the hotel is ideal. We didn't do all-inclusive, so we ate out basically every night. El Andariego is right across the street had an amazing shrimp burrito and piña coladas. Pepe's Tacos is really close, and they have great al pastor tacos (and they're open until 6am!). Casa Ley is very close by as well, and you can buy all your groceries there. Leal's is also basically right across the street for your souvenir and candy needs. This only scratches the surface of the amazing food we had within a 10 minute walk of this hotel.
All in all, amazing trip, and we'll definitely be back.

Came around to check on us and others just the right amount of time.
This is not on Paul, but the he 20 minute save time for a chair is a joke because people come down at 7am save some spotty, go to breakfast, come back a few hours later and they have spots, but it’s seems to be that way everywhere.

The pool is where we spend most of our time and Paul, the pool concierge is the absolute best! Seriously, Paul is your guy!
Although the hotel offers all-inclusive packages with top-notch food choices, there are plenty of delicious nearby restaurants if you choose to venture off the property.
We love Puerto Vallarta and Villa Premiere is the cherry on top!

Just got home last night after 10 days at Villa Premier! It was our second trip so we knew what a great hotel it is! The entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Yes, Paul is great. But the staff that keeps the pool area, lobby, and the entire property clean need to be commended as well! He couldn't do his job if they weren't there first thing in the morning (still dark) and at night making sure all is well for the day. Jorge was always there with our favorite drinks made by Alejandro! The best Cheladas and Cielo Rojos. And it's never too early for a shot! Shout out to Enrique as well!
The dining staff is also EXCEPTIONAL! Breakfast and lunch are at La Ceiba. Noel, Edgar, and Crucita are so welcoming, friendly, and down right fun! They welcomed us each morning with our "eye openers" and when thanked, always said "my pleasure." And it was sincere!
The food at La Ceiba was both Mexican and American. A lot of variety and options. Try the Governor's Shrimp Tacos and the Quesadillas - that you can get with shrimp, chicken, or steak (which is the best!) Daily lunch specials, salsas, agua, and captained guac!
At dinner the servers were Hugo (who recognized us from last year and welcomed us with a handshake and hug) and Jose. They too were outstanding!
Dinner is at either La Corona or La Perla. La Corona is a bit "fancier" and has a bigger menu, and La Perla a bit more casual with a smaller menu. While both delicious, we liked the food at La Perla better. The cauliflower is outstanding, and the burger one of the best we've had. It tends to run on the rare side, so if you like your burger medium to well, be sure to ask. Also really liked the chicken and Mahi Mahi. Don't miss the Churros!
To address those concerned about the lack of chairs. If you go down by 10:00 or 11:00, you should not have any problems. If you're early like we are - there is fresh coffee each morning by 6:00 (saw some amazing moon sets!), and it's OK to leave your chairs for breakfast (at La Ceiba). We met some great people, and enjoyed our morning chats before it got too busy.
Just don't drop your things and then leave for more than an hour at most. IT'S RUDE! Security did start pulling peoples things after 20 - 30 minutes due to an obnoxiously entitled couple who complained on and on and on... that there wasn't a spot for them. They learned a good lesson in karma though the next day, when their stuff was pulled as well! After that, it became a non-issue again.
A word of caution about the pool. The deck is really slippery! There is a tiny sign, but we both took headers getting out and saw other people slip as well. Not a huge deal - just be careful!
Use your judgement on the swim up bar. There are some folks who are in there for hours and never get out. Ick. Yes, the staff sprinkles chemicals in every morning, but yeah...
If you are considering booking at Villa Premier, DO IT! You are going to have a wonderful stay, meet great people from all walks of life and be taken care of by genuine, caring staff!

Paul and Jorge are AMAZING and made our trip!
Truly a first class experience. Drinks were plenty and you never had to wait. Food available 24 hours. Service was impeccable and we WILL be back in the fall. Honeymoon Suite is the way to go for sure. Thanks VillaPremiere !
Great vacation destination
The service was amazing. The pool person Paul was very attentive to the clients at the resort. The bar staff especially Julio was also very attentive. We enjoyed meals at the restaurants. The staff Edgar, Allen, Adon, Noel we all very friendly and great.
Exceeded our expectations, the property is beautiful, the food is wonderful, service is top notch!
Paul @ the pool is fantastic!! He was extremely attentive and helpful every single day! He treated us with the utmost care and kindness.

Wonderful Staff that will go out of their way to make your stay incredible. Edgar was wonderful at the Ceiba. For breakfast he brought us Horchata when it wasn’t even on the menu when I inquired.
Javier by the beach was excellent making sure we were always making sure we had everything we needed. Saul and Armando were also exceptional during diner making us feel like a family. And there was Paul always available for anything.
Their service was quite impeccable.
The rooms were very clean, enjoyed their turndown service and pillow menu.
They excel at desserts so always have room for more.
If you want a spot by the pool, it is a first come first served basis so you have to get there earlier for a good spot. Never had trouble for a spot on the beach however it is a public beach.
Nevertheless the sunsets from the beach were always a highlight for us.

The room was clean and very functional, the pool very nice and the beach wonderful, the sunsets are a must see every evening!
Service was a highlight, not only the three gentlemen name checked earlier but really everyone in the staff going above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome!
The only slight and I mean slight issues were the cooking of meat, which seemed often undercooked even when asked well done, and odd cuts. Stick to local dishes and fish, and make sure to get deserts as those were exceptionally good!
The beach is also a public beach, which means vendors will come to see you quite frequently as you lounge, not my cup of tea but not a big deal!

This place is vegan friendly, although some of their menus are outdated and some things are incorrectly labeled, so just be sure to ask for vegan, no cheese, dairy, eggs, etcs. They are able to custom make things for you, you just have to ask.
Drinks are delicious not too strong or sweet, very enjoyable.

Overall our stay was good. Some of the staff members made the trip great, like Paul and Jorge at the pool and Alberto, the bartender at La Perla. All three went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. One note of improvement is that the gym should have mats available. I had to go down to the spa to pick one up and was told to return it to them when I was finished. I found this a bit strange. The property also needs more food options. But overall we had a great time.

What a great place! We loved our four-night stay in March-April. The hotel is on the small side, not a big mega resort. It was the perfect size. Our room was clean and modern. We were on the second floor, so had a larger balcony than the higher floors. We could hear the ocean every night!
The property is well-maintained, very clean, and modern. I never noticed a detail out of place or maintenance item not done. The pool is the main attraction. Reserve a seat early, as the best seats facing the sun get taken by 10:30am.
The resort is also adults-only, so no kids allowed. This made the pool area a really nice and relaxing place. We also spent two days on the beach side, just a couple feet away. The water was cool and clear, but the beach was a little rocky. Not a big deal and it's naturally rocky, so nothing the hotel could or should do about it.
The hotel has a gym, which we used. Modern equipment and plenty of space. We didn't use the spa, but they did loan us a mat for stretching, which was missing in the gym.
We did the all-inclusive option, which we highly recommend. It was so nice to not be nickel and dimed for everything. You just pay one price and it's all included. Villa Premiere has three a la carte restaurants, but you can go to the restaurants at the BuenaVentura Resort next door as well. Next door has the buffet, which was good for breakfast, but we went a la carte the rest of the time. The food at all of the restaurants was very good. Fresh, local ingredients and lots of variety.
The location of the hotel is perfect. It's about a ten-minute drive to downtown/Zona Romantica. You can use Uber and it's about $5 each way. We felt very safe taking Uber, we had no problems or issues. So it was super easy to go downtown for happy hour or sunset drinks and then come back to the hotel for dinner. It's also about a five minute drive or ten minute walk to the Malecon/boardwalk, which is nice for dinner or an evening stroll.
**One thing to look out for - and it's really our fault for not paying more attention - bottle service for wine. No bottles of wine are included in the all-inclusive plan. You can order by the glass on the all-inclusive plan. But at dinner, if you order a bottle of wine, you'll have to pay extra. The per bottle prices for wine were all above $100. We didn't really notice when we ordered and were kind of shocked when we had to pay $190 at checkout for one bottle of wine - a U.S. brand that sells for about $35-40. We should have paid more attention, and the hotel was firm that we had to pay this price. Just watch out for it. There are items on the a la carte food menus that are not included and they are clearly marked. **
We would definitely go back!

Entire experience was great!
The entire experience was wonderful. The people at the resort are very attentive, helpful and gave great recommendations for places to go outside of the resort. The food was great and had a lot to offer. The spa was also a great experience. Would come here again!
Beautiful Hotel in Best Location
Absolutely wonderful boutique hotel. Beautiful rooms and suits right in the water. Lovely beach. Food and service excellent! Everyone smiling and wanting to help. I especially want to mention Javier and Enrique. They have made our 8 years at the hotel wonderful!
Another wonderful stay! Paul, Alejandro, Javier, Adan, and Hugo always go above and beyond to provide excellent service. New Sports Bar La Perla has excellent beef tongue tacos. We vacation here repeatedly because the level of service is always the same.

All of the staff have been amazing! Paul moved our umbrella throughout the day to keep us in the shade. The concierge, hostesses, bartender and servers were top notch. I will try to give a shout out to all of the staff worked hard to ensure we had a great trip- Jorge, Allan, Victor, Alejandro, Cesar, Roxanna, Andrea, Gabriela were all top notch.
Stephania one of the concierge was very helpful when I lost my pashmina, and when searching for a gift for a friend.
The almost daily live musicians playing was a very special touch, which we really enjoyed. We also love having an ocean view to watch the sunrises and listening to the ocean. How the resort was built, all of the rooms have a view. The nightly turndown service with a chocolate on your pillow, was also a nice touch.
It was easy to get a chair by the pool, since you could only save a chair for one hour. This eliminated people saving chairs and going back to bed.
The gym is small; one of the treadmills didn’t work, and I wish they would have yoga mats for stretching. But it was nice to have access to a gym.
