Little Arches, Barbados, everything I want from a holiday and more. What really stands out are the staff who go out of their way to make your visit exceptional. The hotel is in an idyllic location, it's away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist spots and for me, this is a big part of my reason for choosing to come back year after year after year! What's more is that the management and staff are constantly looking at what they are doing and offering and working to keep everything at the very best standards of condition and service. I will be back!

Barbados, the island, the people, our local "Miami Beach", and most importantly, our place, Little Aches, made our visit a head above our old stomping ground, Negril, Jamaica. A special retreat for those who want to enjoy the islands, with grace and class.

This is not just the hotel building or the location but especially the staff who make a return visit a homecoming. It’s not just us that feel this way and I would estimate that a high majority of visitors book their next visit during their stay, as we did for 2026. This is a boutique hotel that amply fulfils it’s description and long may do so.

This was our third time at Little Arches. We had a room facing the sea - which had a small plunge pool which was great to cool-off in, needless to say. The room was spotless and very quiet - but is looking a little tired in places. The restaurant (Cafe Luna) offers great lunches and dinners - food, service and ambience are all superb. If you stay 10 days of longer, breakfast is included. However, a recently-introduced change for breakfast results in a more-limited choice with other items available for an extra cost. This seems petty - it would be better to increase the room rate a little and have a fully inclusive breakfast (as it used to be) to avoid the feeling of a "nickel and dime" approach that this now gives. Location is great - an easy walk into Oistins. The staff are wonderful and help make the experience so enjoyable.

We spent the second week of our honeymoon at Little Arches and we hope to return soon. We had a lovely, well appointed and clean room in a traditional Caribbean style with views to the turquoise sea. Breakfast in Cafe Luna was great and we also had a couple of beautiful dinners there too. The pool area is lovely and we got a bit too used to ringing the doorbell for cocktails! All of the team at Little Arches are brilliant - helpful, always warm and friendly and housekeeping were excellent too. We loved the turndown service and chocolates on the bed.

Gorgeous adults only boutique hotel with amazing friendly staff. We stayed here for our first 5 nights celebrating my partners 50th. The room was perfect for us, well equipped, very comfy bed and with its own little pool. Sandra and all the team were just so lovely. A special mention to our housekeepers Pearl and Linda (Ollie says thanks again for the happy birthday song!), Larry who kindly took beach loungers to the beach for us each day and the ladies on reception. We attended the managers drinks reception on the Wednesday, which was a lovely way to meet Sandra and some of the other guests (All seemed to be repeat visitors which says a lot about this lovely hotel). Little Arches is a 2 minute walk to Miami beach, which is probably one of my favourite beaches on the island. Cafe Luna is on the roof, beautiful romantic setting with some of the best food we tried over the 12 days. Thank you all for making the start of our first trip to Barbados wonderful.

The in-house restaurant was great and extremely popular, fabulous views as the sun goes down! We loved our stay and hope to be back again soon.

Total paradise in Barbados. My partner and I went to Barbados to reset and relax. Little Arches and the restaurant on site Cafe Luna made that possible. Thanks to Michelle and the whole staff at Little Arches! The beaches down the road and the sunbathing chairs across the street.

We booked Little Arches through the Chase Rewards portal for 7 nights. Originally we reserved a car but decided to cancel and use taxis and buses. That was 100% the right call. No car is needed! Hotel staff will arrange for a taxi or private driver for you, tours will...

We booked Little Arches through the Chase Rewards portal for 7 nights. Originally we reserved a car but decided to cancel and use taxis and buses. That was 100% the right call. No car is needed! Hotel staff will arrange for a taxi or private driver for you, tours will come get you at the hotel, and if you want to take a bus/minivan the bus stop is a short walk away. Now for the hotel itself. We’ve never stayed at such a small hotel (10 rooms) before, so we were SHOCKED when the front desk staff greeted us BY NAME and proceeded to chat with us like we were old friends. This was such a delightful check in procedure. We were escorted to our room and our bags were brought there as well. (No tipping expected or needed! If you want to tip, you do it in a single envelope at the end of your visit, but it’s not at all the culture to do so.) We stayed in the smallest, least expensive room in the whole hotel, #9 Mayreau. It was a small room with a private lounging area with a “plunge pool” (really a converted fountain) across the hall. It was cool, comfortable and cute as a button. We were pleased with the accommodations, although we have booked #10 for next year’s stay since it’s larger and has a larger private outdoor space. Housekeeping was awesome. They made sure we were gone before making up our room, and if we needed something while they were in there, they were so chill about coming back later to finish up. Nightly turn down service included two chocolate truffles - much appreciated! Since we booked for 7 night, breakfast at the upstairs restaurant was included. We had a full English breakfast most days and it was good! We had dinner at the restaurant two additional nights and that was also good (albeit very pricy on the New Years Eve occasion - price fixe for that three course meal). The pool area at the hotel has a lot of loungers and great shade. The pool is small bit sufficient to cool off, and the area is pleasant to relax in. It was never crowded during our stay. There are also three “cabanas” across the road in the hotel’s waterfront strip. We enjoyed grabbing a drink and heading there to watch the sunset after a long day at the beach. (The hotel puts the beach loungers away at 4/4:30, so it was perfect timing!) Speaking of the beach - best beach experience I’ve ever had on vacation! When you are ready to head down to the public beach, you tell the front desk you’re good to go. They call ahead and have a staff member set up a padded lounge chair and umbrella for you. If you want to bring drinks or food to the beach, the front desk will also set you up with a cooler full of ice! The beach and water were clear and sandy - no rocks or jellyfish or seaweed when we were there. So pleasant! We did a few day excursions and ate at the Oistens Fish Fry a lot. We also walked almost every day to the grocery store past the fish fry. Everywhere felt safe and friendly to tourists, even at night. Can’t believe it took us so long to discover what a gem Barbados and Little Arches is! Looking forward to our January 2026 stay already.

My wife and I have stayed at Little Arches five times and each time we visit we are reminded why we love it there. The people at the Little Arches and Cafe Luna are absolutely wonderful and have become family members. We look forward to seeing each of them and catching up on life. The hotel is stunningly beautiful, each room is unique and offers great views of the ocean. The beach is just a short walk and the hotel offers chairs and umbrellas and can pack refreshments. We particularly like that you can stay onsite for breakfast and dinner and enjoy some of the best food on the island and great service! Book early for rooms - the hotel is very popular with returning guests so high season rooms can be tricky - a testament to how wonderful Little Arches is!

From the minute we arrived we felt at home. What a truly incredible experience the Little Arches team provide. Our ocean suite was the perfect combination. A small kitchen with fridge freezer. Plates, glasses, cutlery, microwave and oven. Filter coffee machine/coffee/milk was provided and refilled without us ever asking. Housekeeping are so attentive. We rarely used the turn down service but we were always given our pillow chocolates. So thoughtful and appreciated. The huge bed is so comfortable, we slept better than we do at home. The seats and loungers are perfect and the private plunge pool was the icing on the cake. The staff at reception are fantastic. Even before we arrived they were in contact to check if they could make any reservations for us or organise car hire. I couldn't speak highly enough of them. Emma, Michelle, Myrane and Megan thank you so much. The managers cocktail party was a great opportunity to meet other guests and partake in a delicious rum punch or two [other drinks are available]. Warning, they're lethal ha ha. The beach, a 2 minute walk away, is absolutely beautiful. The hotel set up beds and parasol in the perfect spot. They even give you a cool bag full of ice and bottles of water. Breakfast at Café Luna was delicious. Dinner was fab, the view of the sunset/ocean was beautiful and the fairy lights make it feel like Christmas every day. The view and ambience are delightful. Oistens is maybe 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We experienced fish fry Friday but loved it even more through the week. We spent the most wonderful Christmas day celebrating with new friends on the beach and in the evening. It was perfect, more than I ever hoped. Thank you everyone at Little Arches ❤️ we can't wait to come back

Sandra and her staff have managed to create such a warm and lovely atmosphere which permeates throughout the hotel. It is truly our favorite place to visit and it’s the people who make it so. The sunsets viewed from the pool deck while visiting with other guests at the weekly cocktail party are stunning and Cafe Luna offers delicious food while dining under the deep blue sky. That’s what it’s all about, reuniting with old friends and making new ones along the way. We’ll see you next year!

Second time staying at Little Arches. It is such a special place. All the staff without exception are fabulous! So friendly. Feels like family!! Rooms are lovely and the attention to detail is great. Cafe Luna above is great and Enterprise beach is beautiful.

We had a brief stay at Little Arches, little more than 24 hours as we were basically in transit, but everything we experienced made us wish we were staying much longer. What a lovely small hotel! The staff was incredibly hospitable. A last minute change in our flight had us arriving much earlier than planned and hours before check in but our room was ready none-the-less (we had dropped a note with the changed itinerary). More of this gracious hospitality when we decided to go to the beach a short walk away. A hotel staff member biked chaises and an umbrella to the beach and set them up for us. Later there was a complimentary cocktail party on the pool deck which it seemed just about all the hotel guests attended. The feeling was so warm and welcoming. The hotel itself and its facilities are terrific, beautiful design, comfortable, restful, lovely use of space, great views. We're fans of small boutique hotels. Might not suit someone whose taste runs more to large grand space and lots of restaurants, bars, and activities. We ate 3 meals in the restaurant, very good food and service in a very inviting atmosphere. We were the only guests staying such a short time. Most people were staying at least a week, others longer, and we heard about a lot of repeat customers. I can totally see why.

Fantastic visit as always. Spotless room, such amazing helpful people and really enjoyed swimming at the beach just over the road. Excellent place to stay. The restaurant and service were fantastic. They setup chairs and umbrellas on the beach for you and rooms are super clean. We were welcomed with a great rum drink and every night some chocolates. Walking distance to fish market for dinner,music, and drinks.

Fabulous stay at Little Arches, we had a wonderful welcome and the staff could not have been more helpful. The bedrooms were well quipped and the bed super comfortable. We had excellent recommendations for restaurants and trips around the island. Will be returning.
