Do not be fooled by all the great reviews. If you're stuck in cold weather, Aruba is a welcome relief. This was our second visit to the property, and we had "rose colored" glasses from our first two day visit to the property in in 2024 prior to a cruise. We returned in 2025 thinking a week in Aruba at the Boardwalk would be a perfect winter escape. We reserved the same casita (123) we had in 2024, months before our arrival. When we arrived, we were informed they had reassigned us to another casita (305) on the back side of the property. This unit (305) backs up to a dirt track that the locals use on weekend nights to race dirt bikes well past midnight. See below the picture of this annoyance in the early evening of Friday February 21, 2025. Also, don't you think this nice view for approximately $800+ per night? Point being... do your homework before you reserve. Also, avoid ordering "Groceries to Go". If you do, you might get lucky and receive a portion of your grocery order before you leave.

This is a near-perfect hotel for me. The rooms are quaint and comfortable. The atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful. The grounds are covered in lush greenery. The restaurant is pretty, with healthy options. The service is very good. There are housecoats. The grounds are lit at night, which is lovely....

There is a kitchen so you can prepare some meals yourself. Our patio was a great breakfast spot, surrounded by palm trees. We were in casita #324, on a second storey. Quite private but windows from an adjacent casita do look onto your deck. It is also near the service area, which created some noise, but there was not a lot of foot traffic by our room. There is a bbq on the deck and you can buy bbq supplies from the lobby. Downsides: there is no sunset from these rooms, but you can do a sunset drink or walk by the beach just across the street. They have a palapa policy where you have to reserve a palapa the day before (starting at 8 a.m.), otherwise you may not get one. We prefer having a palapa reserved for us automatically and cancel if we don't need it. There were not enough palapas for everyone. If you are not at your palapa by 11 a.m., you lose it. When we forgot to book one, we took someone else's who didn't show up by 11. They also don't have their own bathroom facilities at the beach. There is a shuttle to and from the beach, which we used a lot. They do offer foldable chairs and snorkel gear if you want to explore other beaches. We did not use a car but thought this was a nice option. We did do the chef night option and enjoyed it. Book early - everyone there seemed to really enjoy the hotel and when we arrived the couple leaving was booking for the following year. Some casitas have more traffic by them if they are by the walkways going to the parking lot or the pool, so if you want privacy you may want a particular room. I would say the clientele were mostly retired couples.

There is nowhere else we’d ever want to stay on Aruba! The Boardwalk grounds are so lush and verdant - filled with tropical birds, plants and lizards - and home to two refreshing swimming pools and a small but welcome fitness studio. The casita we stayed in - 211 - was beautiful and featured a pretty veranda with a cosy swing chair and area for enjoying barbecues. We enjoyed cooking burgers one night and the very tasty - and filling - barbecue box another night. Having a daily outdoor shower to the sound of birdsong and trade-winds in the palm trees was magical. It was easy to book palapas on the beach - they were comfortable and beautiful. The beach is a very short stroll away (4 minute walk) or they have transport. Everything we ate and drank - from poolside cocktails, romantic dinners (shout-out to the steel drums on Caribbean night!) and sumptuous breakkies was delicious. We really appreciated the stylish decor and bright colours throughout the property and the sense of calm and beauty it exuded. We also enjoyed briefly spotting Henry (the chicken) and regular visits from Gordo (the tabby) and Shadow (the black) kitties. Staff were super friendly and fun too. The location was perfect - we visited the national park a few times, loads of beaches (for sunrise and sunset) and could walk to lots of very nice places to eat. The hotel and the island were safe and friendly. It was like living in paradise! Really would love to return one day.

BBH is a very special place on Aruba. It’s small scale fit us perfectly. The staff is very accommodating and the casitas were perfect for a week long stay. A taxi ride to Superfoods on day 1 let us get some food and drink for the week and avoid having to eat out for every meal. Cab fare to most places on the island was reasonable. We did not feel like renting a car. Probably was a break even when all was said and done. The hotel is not beachfront but the short walk to the beach was quick & enjoyable. If beachfront is a must, BBH is not for you. Also, I highly recommended bringing 2 liters of liquor if you plan on drinking. Liquor prices for bottles on Aruba are not for the faint of heart. I highly recommend BBH for your next Aruba vacation. It’s the perfect hotel for peace and relaxation. Bon Bini!!

Looked at Bucuti & Tara but didn't want to commit to 7 night minimum. Then we found Boardwalk Boutique. This may be our forever meeting spot. Here are all the things we loved about it: 1. Gorgeous tropical setting. Reminds me of Gilligan's Island, although more sophisticated. 2. Professional, friendly, helpful staff 3. Large, super clean and comfortable Casita. My husband and I both remarked on how well we slept each net. We booked one bedroom Casita, which has full kitchen, comfy living space, large bathroom area and outside table/chairs. 4. One downside to Aruba properties is need to reserve beach chairs at 6:00 am. Not here...just need to let them know morning prior and show up before 11:00. It was so nice and civilized seeing our names hanging from a Palapa with two comfy beach lounges underneath. 5. Adults only. We love kids, but appreciate the quiet, serene setting. 6. Walk to beach and hotel boardwalk is no more than 5 min. Easy peasy. Did not miss being directly on the beach. Beach is just beautiful! 7. So nice having a cooler we could bring to the beach. 8. Yummy breakfast in adorable outside restaurant. We didn't make it to lunch or dinner, but everything we ate was delicious. I was hesitant to share our experience in fear that this property will become too popular. Just couldn't resist though....we had such a lovely stay! Thank you Boardwalk Boutique Team!

It’s truly so hard to concisely describe this resort. It surpassed my already very high expectations! The grounds are incredibly lush, perfectly kept, serene & peaceful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Coco Cafe menu is delicious, fresh, and the cafe itself has incredible vibes. I highly recommend adding the breakfast to your stay as the value is well worth the dollar amount. The beach palapas are so relaxing and beach chairs so comfortable. We never reserved a palapa in advance and never had an issue securing one when arriving to the beach after 11 AM. The Boardwalk Beach attendants pass out cool towels and are available should you want to order beverages or food from the Coco Cafe. The Pools are stunning and Happy Hour was always a great time. Our casita was immaculate & thanks to our housekeeper, Diana, it looked so fresh & sparkling after the daily cleaning. I could say so much more, but I’ll leave it at this: If you’re even remotely on the fence, book it! This is such a stunning, relaxing & quiet adults-only boutique resort. The location (near Ritz & Marriott) also provided a “livelier” scene with more dining options, but we LOVED retreating to the serenity of Boardwalk each night.

This hotel is nothing short of perfection! My husband and I just returned from our delayed honeymoon - (thanks Covid)-it was our first time in Aruba and I can confidently say that we will never stay anywhere else. The hotel has a jungle vibe with amazing landscaped grounds. It is immaculately clean, and the staff is hard-working, always on point, pleasant, and friendly. We stayed in a regular Coco Casita, and it was fantastic. Well appointed, comfortable, spacious, and definitely had the feel of the island extending into your room. Each Casita has an outdoor deck area with some kind of seating , and either a hanging swing or hammock. Let’s talk about the beach. You can (and should) reserve a Palapa the day before you want to go to the beach. This will guarantee you a spot with chairs and shade. The dedicated beach area is just right. -not enormous and not too small where you are invading other’s space. If you walk up and down the beach and observe the other resort’s beach areas, they are jampacked with people as many as can fit. If you are a family or a large group of friends perhaps that is fine, but if your goal is to spend quality time with your significant other, sister, daughter, etc, and you want calm, space, and some privacy every place else misses the mark. No the hotel is not “beachfront”, but it is literally less than a five minute walk across the street. I promise you will not miss the beachfront location because the hotel grounds, pool, and lounge areas are that nice. If you are having any hesitation about booking, don’t! My husband and I have decided to make this a bi-annual anniversary trip and are already looking at the calendar for dates we can return in 2027!

It's not just that the place is incredibly beautiful and everyone is so friendly, it's that they seek out ways to go above and beyond. For example, I stopped by the front desk to ask where I could buy cough syrup for my husband. When we returned to our casita that afternoon, I found some fresh mint, lemon, honey and a root to make tea to help him feel better. Just incredible. we'll be back!

Greetings, travellers! We stayed in Casita 107 between March 12 - 19, 2025. And wow what a unique hotel! Boardwalk is a tropical gem! It is located next to pristine Palm beach (a 3-minute walk from the hotel). Hands down, it is the only hotel on the Palm beach strip...

Greetings, travellers! We stayed in Casita 107 between March 12 - 19, 2025. And wow what a unique hotel! Boardwalk is a tropical gem! It is located next to pristine Palm beach (a 3-minute walk from the hotel). Hands down, it is the only hotel on the Palm beach strip that is offering a Caribbean vibe. Other hotels (located next door), such as The Ritz-Carlton, Marriott etc. make you feel like you are on Las Vegas' strip. Boardwalk's restaurant, hidden within the tropical flora, exudes a relaxing atmosphere, with its harmonious combination of quality foods and excellent service. The Casitas are specious and well-equipped, beds and pillows are super comfortable. The hotel shares the beach with The Ritz-Carlton. Lunch at The Ritz is a must. Cool vibe, nice service and tasty beverages. All, of course, comes with... ka-ching! We highly recommend this hotel to those who wish to escape the commercialized chain of hotels and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Boardwalk's tropical surroundings. No kids are allowed and pools are never busy. Stay blessed!

I would give this place a 6 star rating if I could! Where do I even start? Boardwalk Boutique is a beautiful resort with gorgeous, lush gardens featuring native flora (and some fauna!) The casita we stayed in was wonderfully decorated, with a huge comfy bed, a nice spacious bathroom...

I would give this place a 6 star rating if I could! Where do I even start? Boardwalk Boutique is a beautiful resort with gorgeous, lush gardens featuring native flora (and some fauna!) The casita we stayed in was wonderfully decorated, with a huge comfy bed, a nice spacious bathroom (the shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel), plenty of closet space (with a safe), a cute kitchenette stocked with utensils, coffee, and tea, and a private deck with a hammock and a barbecue! It felt so private and immersive in a way that hotel rooms don’t. To keep us cool, the casita was air conditioned with overhead fans, and lemonade iced tea was stocked in the fridge with each housekeeping visit. The resort has lots of lovely services and facilities! The pools are just the right temp with tons of comfortable shaded seating around, and a happy hour from 3-5 each day. I like that it’s adults-only; I do love kids, but the serene atmosphere was blissfully undisturbed. The Coco Cafe has great decor and amazing food — we must’ve tried everything on the menu! I especially loved the snapper ceviche and the hibiscus limeade. We ordered a breakfast tower on our last morning here and it was the perfect note to end on. The lobby also has a little shop with locally-made accessories, snacks, and some cosmetics like lotion, sunscreen, and burn relief gel. I was also able to rent a snorkeling mask for no extra charge for a day! The beach itself is just a 5 minute walk away, with lovely complementary palapas and lounge chairs to sit back and unwind. Food can be delivered from the Coco Cafe to the beach starting at 11, which was so convenient. There’s also a water-sports rental shack right on site, so you can easily borrow kayaks, surfboards, etc. The beach was beautiful and we spent a lot of time there! I love that the casitas are solar powered, that guests are provided with reusable water bottles and a compost bin to reduce waste, and that upon check-in we received a “do-good” map with suggested activities that give back to this beautiful island such as beach clean-ups and volunteering for animal shelters. Tourism may be an important component of Aruba’s economy, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of the natural environment and local residents, so I appreciated Boardwalk’s efforts to take care of the island. I had to save the best for last. As fantastic as the casitas and the sustainable facilities are, what really set Boardwalk Boutique apart was the staff. Everyone working at the Cafe was friendly and helpful, the groundskeepers always said hi, and the front desk staff went above and beyond for us. I seriously cannot sing their praises enough — each staff member we interacted with was welcoming and accommodating, but I must single out Genesis as the most amazing front desk staff worker I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. She was such a champ making multiple dinner reservations for us with complicated instructions from me and managed to get us exactly what we wanted. She would spare a minute to chat with us whenever we stopped by the lobby and it was such a delight to get to know her a bit. She was so patient and friendly and I can honestly say we will miss her when we get back to the States! As an interracial lesbian couple, my wife and I sadly cannot take it for granted that we’ll be safe and accepted when we travel. But I have never felt so comfortable abroad as I did at Boardwalk Boutique — everyone that we interacted with at the resort, from staff to guests, were incredibly kind to us and no one treated us any differently than anyone else. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it is such a blessing that we were able to be open about our love instead of having to hide it for our safety. We would love to come back someday, and cannot recommend this place enough to anyone (especially other interracial queer couples) who may be planning a trip to beautiful Aruba.
