We wish we could give higher than just average, because this property is absolutely beautiful! It’s very modern and updated and comfortable. And it’s in a fabulous location with calm waters and nice beach access and beds/chairs. The views are simply amazing! The food and drink selection is very good too. But service training is definitely recommended, to really boost this place to what it could be. Attentiveness is so crucial when on your vacation, and with some service focused tweaking, this would really make this beautiful property spectacular.

A magnificent hotel- true to its 5 star status. Wonderful amenities, staff and food. Nothing to fault. Recommend to anyone that appreciates luxury without pretentiousness. I would return in a heartbeat- but need to get back to work to afford to visit next year!

Stayed for a week in July 2024, What a lovely Hotel, could not be more welcoming, staff First class, nice relaxing slightly secluded setting, easy access via a small reliably run boat to the lively port across the bay if wanted.
Gastronomic food if you like it, many other food choices if not, always served with a great friendly, attentive service.
It was nice not to have to rush to get beds by the pools, always some available, the external areas, restaurants, bars and rooms kept immaculately clean and tidy.
A top end Hotel for a top end stay
Maybe a silly thing to comment on, however the internal areas have many steps to different levels, many in the same floor finish, often both we and we saw others, to differentiate between the step levels, resulting in stumbling down or up, could be nasty after a drink or two ! The staff often mentioned ‘ Watch the steps ‘ some additional flush step marker discs would not go a miss !

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Marinca and Spa the first week in October. Our experience was wonderful. The location and setting are perfect for anyone visitng the southern part of Corsica. The hotel is beautifully designed, with all areas clean and well maintained. The private beach is beautiful as well, with secluded coves at either end.
I want to particularly mention La Verriere restaurant, which was a highlight of our visit. Chef Romain Masset is clearly deserving of his reputation. The dishes presented and the care of the resturant staff were outstanding and memorable, with a creative and delicious tasting menu utilizing local ingredients in keeping with the best Michelin starred restaurants that we have enjoyed throughout Europe and the US. This restaurant should be more prominently listed to let anyone travelling to Corsica be more aware of what a gem this is.
The staff at the hotel and spa were also top notch and accommodating to any of our needs and requests. For example, a noisy fan in the AC system in our room was fixed within less than an hour or two after we reported it to the front desk.
The hotel is situated on a hillside, with stairways which may make getting to the beach difficult for some guests, but the upper areas are easily accessible and an elevator is available if needed to the upper pool deck.
All in all, our experience at Hotel Marinca and Spa was just what we were hoping for and more. We highly recommend staying here, and especially recommend dining at the unforgettable La Verriere restaurant.

Positive: the beach (although a lounger on the beach was 30 euro for half a day), boat service to Propriano
Negatives: truly out-of-place, tacky and cheap decor throughout the hotel, complete with awful synthetic uniforms for staff. Unhelpful novice front desk staff. Unpleasant shower experience with low-flow rainforest head that sprayed large volumes of water throughout entire bathroom. Odd room layout with uncomfortable and cheap-feeling synthetic leather sofa. All furnishings felt low-quality.
The Worst Negative: truly awful meal at beach restaurant with very undercooked sushi rice, very overcooked/tough lobster, and bland 180 euro fish (!!!!) that served 2 people.
I would not recommend this expensive hotel staffed by uncomfortable-appearing poorly-trained staff with very expensive unappetizing food and a strangely furnished room. It was the opposite of a luxury experience. Next time will stay in a less splashy hotel with more warmth, authentic quality decor and better food

Arriving to the hotel, we were greeted by a team of professional and smiling valet parkers. All of them -Coco, Roman, Liam and Clemente were fun and made our arrival seamless. With no stress! It really is an incredibly nice way to arrive at your destination.
The hotel is contemporary and elegant, with interesting touches from theFar East. Everything that we did whether it is the spa, or at reception every person that we met was friendly and professional and clearly invested in making our holiday a success. We both loved the beach restaurant. Heavenly way to take a break from swimming and sunning. To say a ‘beach restaurant’ is misleading - there were two top class sommelier-Victoire and Matteo at hand to advise and assist. We drank delicious organic Corsican wine.
I am sure I have left somebody out and I’m sorry because I really wanted to say thank you to the entire hotel staff, we felt very looked after and very card for!

We had an amazingly relaxing break at the Marinca. The view and surroundings are beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms very comfortable (apart from the open showers which make it hard to avoid drenching the bathroom!). The various pools are stunning and although it was high season, did not feel too crowded. The private beach was great for a cocktail late afternoon.
The food at breakfast and dinner at the "Paillotte" was consistently good, and the tasting menu at the "Verriere" was delicious - all of them with a wonderful view of the sea.
All in all, we had a wonderful time and could not fault it - we will gladly come again!

We thank the staff again for this unforgettable experience!

Let me start off by saying we really enjoyed our trip and experience. If we wanted a luxury resort in south Corsica but not the Porto Vecchio vibe, this is the place.
First, the grounds are beautiful and the view cannot be beat (getting a top floor room would be a plus). Beach and service are great. Pools are nice but make sure to get seat by main pool (there are 5).
Staff has the onboarding and first impression down and you will enjoy. That being said, the staff is a bit green for a resort of this class. Case and point my wife (a French National) was ill and made an inquiry about seeing a physician. It wasn’t so much the staff didn’t know, it’s that they didn’t really think to look in to it. We wound up taking care of it via SOS in Ajaccio (coincidentally the head of service talked to us casually a day later and volunteered that would be a solution - but again not all had instinct to figure out a solution).
Food: The Beach Restaurant is a pleasant surprise and the bar is solid. The gastronomic restaurant was fine but somewhat disappointing given hype.
Rooms are comfortable and shower is nice. Curiously, there is nowhere to hang a towel and my wife suggested having to get ready within bathroom chamber was difficult due to humidity.
Internet is spotty.
In all, a lovely time. Would do again but there could be improvements.

The service and staff are outstanding! We cannot say enough good things about all of the staff we interacted with. The food at the beach and the beach restaurant were fantastic. We did not eat at the fancy restaurant so we can’t speak about that. It was wonderful to have access to an SUP and kayak at the beach (although a few more of each would be ideal). We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay there!!

Excellent stay here. Absolutely fabulous service from the restaurant staff to the front desk to the car park. Lovely beach with chairs and umbrellas, multiple pools that are never crowded - lots of nooks and crannies for sun and relaxation, a room with a comfortable bed, nice terrace and lots of storage space, a breakfast overflowing with choices, and an excellent beach restaurant. In fact, every time we dined out for dinner to explore we came back thinking that our dinners at the hotel were considerably better. A lovely place to unwind. My only criticism was the strange bathroom set-up - our bathroom was essentially open to the bedroom area, with a screen you could pull but otherwise a very open shower with a gold vanity that was very Las Vegas. But that was a small thing in an otherwise lovely and very relaxing stay. Good job and thank you.
