We have just finished a four-night stay at Mandapa and truly didn’t want to leave! Everything about this resort was exceptional—from the beautifully appointed rooms and spa to the incredible food and impeccable service. The team made us feel at home, greeting us by name throughout the hotel and consistently catering to our preferences. We also deeply appreciated Mandapa’s commitment to sustainability and preserving Bali’s natural beauty. From their eco-conscious approach to landscaping and water conservation to the thoughtful sourcing of local ingredients, it’s clear that sustainability is woven into the resort’s ethos. Beyond the breathtaking setting, what truly sets Mandapa apart is the unparalleled sense of peace and relaxation—we had the best sleep we’ve had in years! This was a truly special experience, and we will most certainly be back. Absolutely superb.

A real *****star experience. Everything made exclusively beautiful, the villas are so good. We were here at the rainy season and got some poor downs. But the everything is so well kept we enjoyed it. I did a lot of yoga, also private lessons. The teacher were all very professionell....

They are among the best.

A+. Have stayed around the world for 15 years at different Bonvoy properties and this has to be the best one I’ve been to in terms of service and property. As point of reference, St Regis Bora Bora is my #2 and have been to most STR properties globally

The service, attention to detail, and beautiful property makes Mandapa a standout choice among similar hotels in this category. It was ideally located for our 4 night stay in Ubud. Hospitality is top notch - especially Tania, our hostess, who arranged special surprises for our anniversary nearly everyday, and was available 24/7 to answer questions, liaise with restaurants for last minute changes, and help coordinate rides. Nila and Gaga from the dining staff remembered our favorite drinks, and sent us home with gifts on our last day. Tueka also did a speedy job with our photo shoot so that we could enjoy the complimentary session on our last day. The property had luxury amenities while remaining true to Ubud and Balinese culture. Highly recommend to anyone considering. Can’t wait to return again!

Everything about this property is remarkable, and the staff makes genuine connections that will leave a lasting impression. Stayed at this amazing hotel for the last few days of a three week Far East trip. It’s amazing and literally the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed. The staff is top tier, including Krisna at the Ambar restaurant, Kari at the spa, Radi for photographs, and especially our assistant here - Mada, who has been remarkable. The hotel and location are too good, from the entrance they start pampering you. Every small detail was taken care every place we went on property. Staff - Pietro was very attentive, always providing the best recommendations. The breakfast location and experience every morning was great way to start off the day. They had various healthy boosters which we would look forward to try. The best was herbel tea in the afternoon or when ever we came back from excursion it would be waiting for us and still hot. Room - It was a massive room, which had dinning & living room. They took care of our baggage and lined it up in the room before we entered and conducted check in the room. The room service was quick and fresh fruits all the time. SPA - 10 out of 10 for the spa, once the spa is over they had relaxing room with amazing view of the river. Food - The drinks at the Japanese restaurant along with food was amazing, we did not get a chance to try other restaurants for lunch and dinner as they had limited vegetarian options. One of the evening the chef made us daal and rice for the room service which was good too.

The breakfast had a huge spread, and the dinners had several options across the property. If you can, please book this property in the serenity of Ubud. There won't be a tinge of regret! We had an early morning trip to Lovina to see the dolphins, and Nessa made sure we had a beautifully prepared breakfast box ready to take with us. This was one of the best Resorts we stayed at in Bali. Step into the high end Resort life. Peaceful, tranquil, amazing atmosphere filled with lush forest, rice fields, and a picturesque river. The service was top notch. Out Personal Butler was fantastic. He was always available through his personal WhatsApp, and coordinated all our activities and dinning reservations. The Mixologist at Ambar Bar was fantastic. He made us some unique cocktails that were delicious. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Our Mandapa Suite was definitely worth the stay. Large and furnished with gorgeous Balinese decor. We will definitely return again.

Fantastic experience, We stayed 5 days, 3days in the Suite overlooking the resort and 2 days in the Rainforest villa. Both places spacious, private and very well designed. It is an upscale experience. Arts and chandeliers are well matched to the room and location. After the first two days in the suite, our bottler contacted us and proposed to upgrade us to a Rainforest villa. What a great surprise and experience. The service was such a great experience in itself. Everyone did an incredible job. Bottlers, tour guides, planner, housekeepers etc. were always well informed and coordinated. And everything happens seemingly and effortlessly. This is an art and it takes great leadership to perform at this level consistently. Restaurants, Sauna, steam room and all facilities I will rate at 5 plus. We went on a tour in an old VW, this was also a highlight due to the resort tour guides. Winanna the tour guide customized the tour to us on a fly. Winanna is a person which makes a difference. The resort is out of this world and provides you with a fantastic experience and feeling. The services matched St Regis Kuala Lumpur, which we also stayed at on this tour. The resort experience matched the four seasons Chiang Mai in many ways. I’m so please with our five days stay that we will consider going again.

Stayed in a rainforest villa. Was incredibly private, in fact we barely saw other guests outside the lobby on our 5 night stay. Room had seperate living room and massive pool. Its safe to say this is one of the most upscale hotels rooms one could experience. Even the art and chandeliers in the villa are ornate. I will say that having to pay for the villa upgrade while on a honeymoon is a bit disappointing but the property made it worth every penny. It is the best service I have ever experienced in a resort. Darrin our Patih did an incredible job, we didn't see the housekeeping at morning or in the evening until our final day(Darren had off). Its touches like this that provide unbound luxury. The resort is seemingly always offering gifts, from nightly turndown to post spa treatment everything is 5 Star. Breakfast is very tasty and includes buffet and sit down, service at breakfast was 5+ star. They weren't able to modify an item one day and made it special for me the next day. Can also do in villa which we chose on our last morning, they brought a massive amount of food to us, one of many great experiences on site. We also went on a tour in an old VW, this was also a highlight due the the resort tour guides, would recommend to everyone. In summary the rooms at this resort are unmatched-especially the villas. The services exceeds all other Ritz, St Regis, 4 seasons that I have experienced including other RC Reserve Properties. That being said its in the mountains and the biggest activity is going to the Spa. Don't stay here if you're not looking for R&R.

The check-in process was quick and smooth, setting the tone for what would be the best hotel experience we've ever had. We stayed in the riverfront villa, a perfect blend of modern luxury and serene jungle vibes. The spacious, modern & immaculately clean villa included thoughtful honeymoon surprises like flower arrangements spelling out “Happy Honeymoon” and other delightful surprises. The service was exceptional. The staff anticipated our needs, remembered our preferences, and made every moment feel personalized. Whether it was dining or planning activities, every detail was handled with care. The breakfast was one of the many highlights and was awesome. Niti and the team ensured that we felt completely cared for, with small gestures and attention to detail that truly set Mandapa apart. The resort’s facilities and activities added to the overall magic of our stay. Both the main pool and the private villa pool were stunning, offering relaxation with breathtaking jungle views. We also enjoyed authentic cultural experiences like Balinese dance, cooking classes, and even rice farming, which gave us a true sense of the local culture. This is one of the best resorts I have ever stayed in my whole life. The staff is so friendly, professional and attentive to you, when you arrive you get assigned a personal “butler” that they literally go beyond to help you with anything you need. The resort is beautiful, the rooms were so spacious and comfortable and the beds were amazing. The spa, restaurants, pool area and hotel amenities were all 10/10. Not to mention the food, we enjoyed it very much and the hotel has a variety of options you can try. Highly recommend you stay here!

We had a superb evening at the Mandapa bar. Arriving late afternoon to admire the view, savouring the botanical cocktails. The staff in particular the assistant manager Oka were great. We stayed for a delicious sushi dinner and herbal teas while listening to jazz. So serene and romantic.

We stayed 3 nights at the Ritz Mandapa in Ubud Bali and since our return a week ago, we have been non stop talking to our family and friends about the amazing experience of our stay at Mandapa.....we have traveled more than 70% of the popular destinations in the world and this experience is very close to the heart ❤️ The staff and service won our hearts and now our family and friends will be coming to Ubud just to stay at Mandapa. Our butler Parmini and many other wonderful staff members including Komal in Amber, Yoga, chef Vayu, Yuni, Tari in the spa made us feel like a family and our stay very comfortable and special. The blind healing experience with Ebu Mursi is a lifetime memory. Her touch was magical 💫⭐️ High cosmic energy and compassion. The property is absolutely stunning and each space is immaculate and very well utilized. We shall return with rest if our family members.
