This is the most peaceful hotel i have ever been to, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you feel relaxed and looked after.
We opted for a pool villa, it was sublime. Well appointed room and private pool what more could you ask for? (well perhaps more plants to make it a little more private around the pool)
The food and drinks were the best we had in Cambodia.
We booked half day tour through the hotel and it was a great decision, cold scented towels after each site we visited and freezing cold water.
This may be the first resort we are desperate to return to again, as we feel there is more we want to do here.

Paradise on Earth - magic nature, sounds, houses and people. The days are beautiful, but at sunset the magic begins with frogs singing and stars above. And the food is amazing. The houses are hippies in the sky interior. And biking around the rice fields is like a dream.

I’ve placed this in my top 5 worldwide hotels. The team, the setting, the food are all world class. It’s an oasis of calm where you can relax after a day at the various ancient sites in the area.
It’s staggeringly beautiful all day with a serenity that’s unbeatable.
Rooms are huge, great outdoor spaces, enormous bathrooms and comfortable beds with all the amenities you’d expect.
Two restaurants, London pricing but good quality food and cocktails.
Cannot speak more highly of the hotel and the team. Definitely recommend and happy to take questions from anyone doubting whether to stay here or not!
Hadn’t heard of the Zannier brand before but they’re now on my go to list.

Beautiful setting in Siem Reap
The accommodations were excellent. We stayed 6 nights.
The staff made us feel very comfortable. Very friendly. We had our villa. Beautiful pool and landscaping. Formal and casual restaurant. Great sunsets. Great Margherita. Water Buffalo was a nice touch

We were not familiar with Zannier properties and now know they are truly unique, immaculately run resorts. The design was inspired, the staff beyond kind and gracious, and its soul totally refreshing in a world of corporate hospitality. I am left longing to visit all Zannier properties.

We stayed at this lovely resort-style hotel in November 2024. It is located on the outskirts of Siem Reap, about 20 minutes from Angkor Wat and the major temple complexes. The hotel is in an isolated location that is not within walking distance of any restaurants or shops. The hotel complex contains two restaurants and a bar, a lovely swimming pool, spa, gym, and yoga studio. The extensive grounds consist primarily of rice paddies on which the hotel grows the rice it uses in its kitchen. When we were there, they were hosting a water buffalo family, complete with a 3-week-old water-buffalo baby, who was simply adorable. The hotel’s rooms are self-contained villas with rustic furniture, a huge soaking tub, and a large and well-furnished outdoor patio. Our villa came with a plunge pool, which was ideal for a cool dip after a long, hot day. We thoroughly enjoyed this luxurious retreat from which to explore Angkor Wat and the other temples and attractions in the area.

Breakfast throughout to Dinner was just wonderful, I'm not easy to please as I'm Vegetarian but the food was just fabulous. The hotel staff were so attentive and generous and kind. Tours organised by the hotel were perfect, a special thank you to Naka Naka - she was just the most insightful and wonderful guide who walked us through all the best places and avoided the crowds. This is a proper luxury hotel in a beautiful 20 acre plot, centred around paddy fields operated by the hotel, complete with water buffalo! Absolutely spotless, not a blade of grass out of place. Fantastic pool villa - a lux place to hang out though not totally private. It's hard to over emphasise how utterly charming the Cambodian people are. It's such a well worn cliche, but the ubiquitous charm, smiles, care, humour and pride for their country is deeply special. We found this everywhere we went in Cambodia and is reason alone to return. Zanniet repay this by supporting their staff and their communities. You can feel the warmth and it was a crucial reprieve from the flashy tropes of western culture.
Awesome 50m pool. Great food that veggies will enjoy as much as carnies.
And by the way, coffee is really delicious. Just straight black. No need for all the other stuff we put in elsewhere. Hotel organised great tour of Angkor Wat for us. Started ar sunrise (worth it!) and ended on bikes. A great way to avoid the grockles.

This wonderful hotel rated brilliantly because of ALL factors combined. It didn’t need to be the most over the top experience where staff are in your face which makes us uncomfortable. Instead they were beautifully attentive & then they would pull back & let you be. The atmosphere was stunning set in rice paddies a nice distance out of Siem Reap. The rooms & restuarants were understated style. Don’t look for extreme opulence as it is designed to be reminiscent of Cambodian rural architecture but with five star facilities. It would be easy to nominate many individuals who made this experience but there are too many to do so. It would be unfair. They are all quite exceptional & demonstrated the beautiful nature of the local people. Cleverly they were shared out between the three main restaurant/bar areas providing a sense of familiarity. Even the charming French manager cycled down from somewhere to see us off. The food was excellent making it hard to get into town to experience other dining options. The spa, whilst expensive was excellent. The Sunset bar in the evening was an event in itself.
Atmosphere & staff were six star.
It is one of those standout accommodation experiences.

From check-in to check-out the experience, facilities, staff and food were simply the best you can possibly have during a stay. The calmness of the hotel, the delicious food & drink and tranquilness of the setting, made this a truly memorable holiday. We arranged a private tour to Angkor and other sites (including preparing and feeding elephants at a recently established elephant sanctuary (they do not ride the elephants!. The whole stay just added to the amazing experience of Siem Reap and if we had stayed somewhere else, I don't believe we would have enjoyed the trip as much as we did.

Our stay at Phum Baitang was absolutely magical. Upon arrival from the Siem Reap airport via Grab (~1 hr's drive) in the evening, the hotel's beautifully lit, winding driveway slowly built the anticipation of our arrival into the welcoming lobby and staff. When we were shown our villa and walking through the property, it was bathed in the warm glow of the downlights lining the walkways overlying the rice paddies while the frogs croaked along with the crickets' chirping.
Our villa itself was of a modern organic luxury, minimalist style in keeping with the Khmer culture/architecture. The hotel itself was of a different style/philosophy/uniqueness compared to many of the other "standard" luxury hotel chains.
The two onsite restaurant options were convenient and delicious although going into town was just about 10 minutes' drive away, easily accessible via tuk-tuk or car (via Grab app). The pool was lovely and not too busy. The spa provided great massages. The staff themselves were lovely and genuinely friendly.
Overall, Phum Baitang (along with the Khmer people and culture) made our trip to Siem Reap a magical and memorable experience. We will definitely stay at Phum Baitang again if/when we visit Siem Reap again, and we look forward to staying at other Zannier properties. We have already been recommending Zannier to our friends and family!

The property is very well located outside the center of Siem Reap close to the old airport.
The rooms are all bungalows on pillars like traditional Khmer houses. They are very well equiped and very nicely decorated.
They are all spread over the huge park where the hotel has it’s own rice field. The garden is superb!
From the pickup at the airport you experience excellent hospitality demonstrated by the entire staff. Everyone is nice and discrete but dedicated to make your stay the best one.
Given the late hour of arrival we could already order in room dining from the car. By the way, the cars are equipped wity Wifi. Very handy!
The food is excellent and there is very nice wine menu. The wine is very good.
The breakfast is healthy and very tasty. Try the ginger beer, it’s very good to start your day.
The infinity pool is superb and so refreshing. It overlooks the property.
There are 2 restaurants, one at the pool where also breakfast is served and another close to the reception. Both places serve excellent food. Same at the pool bar.
For the sunset enjoy a drink at the main bar next to the reception. They serve excellent cocktails.
Let you pamper by the relaxing treatments at the Spa.
The hotel also offers various activities. We had an excellent guide, Pala, who toured us very well in the beauties of many temples in the area. A must. Thank you Pala!
The hotel also supports local community and that’s a very good thing we would like to continue help. There is a strong needs for schools and the youth is eager to learn.
While no one from the Zannier staff felt short we would like to make a special recognition for Phan Mai, Chea and her friends who were so kind and very dedicated to make our stay a pleasant one.

Absolutely an incredible stay at Zannier Hotels Phum Baitang. We spent 5 nights in a pool villa and did not want to leave.
The accommodations are luxurious. A comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom amenities, plenty of closet space, and you can literally walk a few steps out of your villa into your own private pool. Which felt amazing at pretty much any time of day.
The location is also amazing. It is an oasis of tranquility and the grounds are impeccably kept. We thought we were on a movie set at times with lush rice paddies and water buffalo roaming about.
The staff were some of the nicest people we have ever met. Our server recommended that I try the local breakfast dishes. I wasn't sure which one to have one morning. So she had the chef prepare a sampler of each. They were all very delicious.
One recommendation is if you need clothes to be laundered, it is much less expensive to have them laundered in town where the going rate is around $5USD/kilo. Otherwise all other services are inline with what you would pay at a luxury resort.
We were pampered in every regard. It was a splurge, but well worth it. If we return to Siem Reap, we will definitely stay at Zannier Hotels Phum Baitang.

This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at — it’s really something special. The hotel grounds in the middle of rice fields are gorgeous and peaceful. The cottage and private pool were so comfortable. The food exceeded our expectations. And finally, the staff made us feel so welcome (shout out to Lin!). We most appreciated the attention to small details, such as always making sure we had water, or knowing our names at each meal. It was also easily accessible to Siem Reap. We hope to stay here again in the future!
