We had a fabulous time at Victoria House - the property is beautiful and conveniently located to all of the fun spots in San Pedro. The casitas are beautiful and the pools are even better! Amazing food, lovely staff, a truly relaxing place to spend a few days.

An amazing hotel. Superb location. Beautiful rooms with white linens and fluffy towels. Friendliest staff. Good choice of food and there is also a pub. Small gift shop. A short ride into town. Free bikes. One of the best places we have ever stayed and we will be back.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this resort and couldn’t recommend it more! The grounds were meticulously maintained, and the whole property felt like a peaceful oasis. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond, always greeting us by name and making us feel truly valued. They were so helpful in setting up reservations and offering great recommendations, making our stay stress-free and enjoyable. The food was exceptional—each meal was flawless, and the drinks were just as impressive. I had the chance to visit the spa three times during our stay, and each treatment was perfection. It was such a relaxing experience every time. The resort also has a wonderful gym, which we made good use of. The excursions we booked were fantastic, and Luis made everything so easy for us. Whether on the resort or out on an excursion, we felt like every person we interacted with went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing experience. We stayed in a casita, which was perfect! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and housekeeping did a fantastic job of keeping it pristine both morning and night. The resort was never too crowded, which added to its charm. We always had no trouble finding a spot by the pool, and being able to swim in the ocean directly from the resort was a huge bonus. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!

Our visit to Victoria House was a wonderful adventure. The accommodations are luxurious, the staff is very friendly and extremely attentive to all the details. The dining is excellent. The property was very well maintained and not Crowded at all which we loved. Now the disappointments: When we originally booked they released our room before the end of the hold time and we had to book a different room category not realizing there was not any amenities in the room. No coffee maker or microwaves in the villa king bedroom units. There is no way to heat up any meals that you bring back from an offsite restaurant. There is two restaurants on property but they have the same limited menu. If you want coffee after 10:30 they will charge you about $5 USD. On the whole they did not want to accommodate any special requests. Be sure to bring plenty of bug spray. The mosquitos are bad. No USB ports provided in rooms so you need to bring chargers.

great resort, food is good and staff are friendly and helpful. they take good care of the pool and grounds, it can be a bit pricier than other resorts but you do get what you pay for.bikes are complementary but golf carts have a charge. i would recommend.

Everything about Victoria House was perfection! We received a warm and heartfelt welcome from the friendly staff. The property was well maintained and our room was immaculate. We couldn't have asked for more.

We had an amazing 4 night stay at Victoria House! The grounds and property were gorgeous, and our room felt updated and comfortable. The staff was INCREDIBLE and really made our stay. The front desk staff in particular were all so personable and helpful. We had to rebook our trip, and they were quick to respond and made a stressful situation much smoother. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool with cocktails and the lovely waitstaff made sure we never waited long for a drink! We enjoyed the food at Palmilla, but the staff also had amazing recommendations for places to try in town. Renting a golf cart to go into town was easy, and the pricing was more reasonable than expected. We also really enjoyed our snorkeling half day trip. The staff was helpful when deciding which day and when to book based on weather conditions. The property had all the amenities of a big resort while still feeling intimate and quiet. Victoria House was the perfect choice for our stay and we'd recommend it to anyone traveling to San Pedro!

A bit overpriced for the level of hotel, and expectation of tip on top of a 10% added service charge is too much (for us Europeans anyway).

My husband and I just returned from 8 nights at Victoria House. This was our first trip to San Pedro and we went to snorkel and celebrate my Birthday. The Hotel and the Staff at this resort are fabulous. We actually booked this area as we recently went to Fiji and realized we have a place much closer to us…a two hour fight vs a 23 hour flight. The grounds are beautiful and there are different types of rooms or groups of rooms to book. We stayed in a Casita which faced the water with a beautiful porch with chairs which were far enough back that the rain missed them. There is not direct beach access without going down steps to the water however we did not go into the water but did the pool. We sat on the lounges on the sand area facing the water and it was lovely. The restaurant, Palmilla has a great menu. Lunch and dinner. We only had their Continental Breakfast which worked for us. They also had a terrific pizza and lunch menu. Dinners were presented well and very unique items. A beautiful restaurant to dine in complimented by the wonderful staff that worked there. Estevan always looked for us and looked after us once we were there. We had several dinners and several lunches. The entire restaurant staff was engaging. It was a pleasure to be there. We rented a Golf Cart for the week from Rocks and they were great to work with. I had two massages with Roxanne and they were wonderful deep tissue and some stones massages. The Spa is on site and the prices very reasonable for a 90 minute massage. Overall this is a property we would definitely return to. As with every place on the island and islands such as this around the world we did have to use bottle water which they supplied every day. We were ten to fifteen minutes from downtown by Golf Cart and we drove both day and night.

Good selection of fresh and artfully prepared meals. Wellness center massage was the best I’ve ever had. Best place to stay in Ambergris Caye.

We stayed at Victoria House in November after spending some time in the mountains of Belize near San Ignacio. While the physical aspects of Victoria House are wonderful and well described in other reviews, I wanted to point out that the service was also impeccable from arrival to departure. Kind, friendly, and knowledgeable just begins to describe it. All the folks were great, and two people on staff really made our stay even more special - Mishel and Duane. Both are on staff in the restaurant and bar.

We had the opportunity to stay at Victoria House Resort right after they reopened (they were closed for maintenance for 3 weeks), and we were blown away. The property is huge and gated with security, so you feel totally transported to a private paradise. They have everything you need right on site, and whatever you don’t have, you can get close by up or down the main street. There are shops and golf carts rentals everywhere. However, the property has cart rentals as well as 2 restaurants (with poolside service), a spa, a dive shop, a tour desk, several pools, beach access, and many water amenities you can use for free. You will not be bored. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The food there was very good as well as the drinks. Poolside drink service was awesome cause we did not want to leave the infinity pool! They turned down our room for us while we went to dinner which was a lovely touch. The room was perfect for just the 2 of us. Sadly we were only there for one night, but we plan to return.

We loved staying at Victoria House. The resort exceeded all our expectations. Food, staff, amenities, accommodations, service, location, cleanliness, value for price, activity options, and more were all outstanding. We will absolutely be back!!

My wife and I stayed here at Victoria House a month ago Aug 20-27 and absolutely loved it. The grounds are so beautiful, the staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful and our room was lovely. We walked along the shoreline and drove around most of Ambergris Caye and I'm pretty sure this is the nicest property on the island. We would definitely go back! One thing to consider however is that there are essentially no beaches on the island except for the beaches held in place by a retaining wall. Secret Beach up north is one exception we found so go check it out. The pictures on the Victoria House website are strategically taken to make the sand appear as if it goes right into the water but it doesn't exactly do that. The sand goes right to the water where there is a short retaining wall holding the sand back from washing away. But it's not too big of a deal and it's the best wide beach/sand area on the island. I'm gluten intolerant and there were numerous options at Victoria House as well as around the island and I ended up having ZERO problems which was such a relief. There were a couple delicious eateries within walking distance including Robin's Kitchen which is an experience in itself.

Great room and pool and kind staff. Strongly recommended for some relax on a paradise on earth. Delicious and various breakfast. The tours offered are a little expensive compared to the ones by other operators. We’ll most definitely be back!!!
